  1. "You're pretty good yourself," Iris said to the gray pegasus. The unicorn walked over to archery and practiced some more. She was better at archery than blades, and mostly hit bulls eyes, or close to. 'I might make it after all,' Iris told herself, 'I'm not that bad.'
  2. Size: Whatever the normal size is. Ponies: Alicorn Twilight Background: Maybe some butterflies, or whatever looks good. Colors: Twilight's colors (mostly purple and black) Text: LadyButterfly Additional text: Making the forums 20% smarter Thanks so much if you can do this!
  3. *I have a huge plantars wart on my heel, and I have to walk like I have an invisible high heel on my left foot. I'm getting it removed tomorrow. *I have a pet dog who has giant eyes. *I'm almost legally blind. *I'm a straight A student, and pretty much the Twilight Sparkle of the real world. *I have a heart condition that makes my heart too fast (120 or 130 sometimes) called SVT. *I'm a teacher's pet, and cried on my last day of elementary school. *I'm a red head, yet I don't have freckles, and tan easily. I'm also the only redhead in my family besides my great great grandpa. *I'm in love with the arts, and I love to draw and write and play Secrets on my violin. *Sometimes, when I like shows so much, I have dreams about them and episode and story ideas. *I turned my friend and cousin into pegasisters. My cousin then showed her little brother, and know he's a brony. *I live 2 hours from the nearest Macy's . *My brother showed me MLP, and now he's an antibrony.
  4. Iris saw Twisted scoot the box of knives towards her. 'Oh... you're not supposed to throw daggers!' Iris put the dagger down and picked up a knife from the small box. "Now I feel like an idiot..." Iris muttered under her breath as she threw the small knife. It hit slightly above the center of the target.
  5. "Oh, thanks..." Iris looked down at the rather short pony. She picked up the saw-like dagger and said, "I'm not that good at knife throwing, but I'll try." The young pony focused on the red and white target, and threw the long knife. It hit near the middle, closer than the pony expected. She smiled, and picked it off of the target.
  6. Iris nodded to Lyona. "Hopefully they aren't in trouble." The unicorn sat by Lyona, using her magic to get a loaf of bread out of her saddlebag. Taking a bite, she said, "I wonder what they're doing right now..." 'Hopefully they're okay, I don't want a pony to teleport back covered in blood.' she thought, worried like her mother used to.
  7. Iris headed towards the combat training, accidentally bumping into Redstorm. "Oh, I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... that was probably my fault, sorry." Iris shyly spoke, picking up a dagger with her magic. The young mare hadn't talked to anypony wince she got off the train to Canterlot. She had mostly just been practicing and hoping that her death wouldn't be painful. Iris remembered every moment from when she moment she got picked... "Wake up, ponies! It's Reaping Day!" Iris hid under the covers of her small bed. She hated Reaping Day. It's what took her only friends away. It's what made everypony cry. It's what took her. The other orphans got out of bed while she stayed. She didn't wanna eat, or brush her mane. She just wanted to stay in bed all day. "Come on, you silly filly, its time to eat," one of the mares that worked at the orphanage home shook Iris. Her long blond mane fell down to the grimy floor, and her snow white head stook out from the dull covers. "The others ponies got up, and so should you." she said. Iris shook her head, and let her front hooves hang to the ground as her body moved sideways and she hung upside down. After being pulled out of bed, the young filly got ready for the day, along with the other ponies. They all joined a huge crowd as the Reaping started. The announcer pony stood up on a platform and introduced the crowd to Reaping Day, and pulled a name from a huge bowl. "Is there a pony named Iris?" she announced the young unicorn's name loud and clearly. Iris's knees buckled, her body froze, she couldn't move. The crowd cleared to show the poor orphan, frozen in fear. "Come on, honey, there's nothing to be afraid of." Iris began to get lightheaded add everypony looked at her, staring into her frightened eyes. Her legs have out, and she fell to the ground, shaking. They had to help her up, and to the stage. The announcer smiled, her eyes shining, and said, "How old are you, Miss Iris?" Iris's lips quivered as she said, "I-I'm fifteen. " They took her to the back before she could see the stallion be chosen for District 8, for the pony was hyperventilating. The fear got straight into the poor pony, as she was crying and crying, and even passed out from hyperventilating too much. The pony knew death came, and there was no denying it. She had probably just bumped into a pony who would turn into a murderer, and probably the one to take her life.
  8. (Sorry for being gone for so long. ) Iris heard the noises of a teleportation spell and walked outside. All she got to see was a few sparkles in the air. 'I wonder where they're going,' she thought, heading back to her small home as the sun rose. 'I haven't tried a teleportation spell in a long time...'she thought as the snow hit the roof. 'It's probably because I am like a blind pony, I have no idea where to go.'
  9. Iris heard a loud explosion and ducked. The fire roared on as smoke began to come closer to the area, making the unicorn's eyes water. One word came to mind as the dust from the explosion died down. "Bandits," she muttered, both scared and angered at the same time. After awhile, Iris dozed off to sleep. She was in her warm bed, snuggled up under the blankets. It was quite nice, a feeling the mare missed very much. Her mother shook her. "Iris, honey, wake up! We don't have much time!" Iris opened her eyes to see her house ablaze. 'No...' Her whole world was burning in front of her. She quickly got out of her bed and ran down the stairs. 'No, please, no...' There were pieces of the ceiling falling down to the burning floor. Suddenly, a huge piece of rubble fell between Iris and the rest of her family. "Keep going, honey, we'll find a way out!" yelled her father. 'Please...' Iris found a small exit, and squeezed through and out of the burning building, leaving her family to burn. She sat atop a hill, being checked out by doctors for her burns, and watching all of her happiness die along with her family. "Nooo!" Iris woke up screaming 'no,' having arose from a nightmare. There were tears streaming down her face, remembering that terrible night. 'You should've died with them,' Idiots told herself, staring at the flames.
  10. Iris was shooken awake. Her golden eyes opened wide, and she stared at the guard, and got up, out of her comfy bed. 'This is probably one of the last times I'll sleep in a bed,' thought the snow white unicorn as she got dressed for training. All the ponies in her district told her she was no good, and if she were in the Hunger Games, she'd be first to go. "Come on, you're gonna be late," exclaimed the guard, waiting at the door. Iris followed the surprisingly short stallion to the training room, where tons of random weapons were assorted across the room. Iris saw a sliver bow, one of the weapons she knew how to use. Iris saw the other ponies using swords and knives, and decided to try one herself. Using her magic, Iris picked up a long, thin knife. Aiming at the dummy, she concentrated on her target, and threw the knife. It hit the target, but not as closely as some of the others. 'Why did our have to be me?' was all that the young filly wanted to know. 'Why was I picked for this?' Iris decided to pick up on her archery skills, and went over to the shooting range. She aimed, and shot a bullseye. After going to various other stands like the one where she learned which plants are deadly or not, and the one where she practiced making a vine from a tree longer by using her magic, she decided to practice more archery and magic.
  11. Iris thanked Lyona and went to a lit up house, with a warm and toasty fire inside. The slender mare sat down on a cleared spot on the floor. Feeling such warmth made Iris happier than she'd felt in a while. It was nice for once to be around ponies instead of being alone.
  12. Iris stared at the pegasus and stated, "Your friend Cleo showed me top over here, said that I could stay awhile. I wouldn't hurt you unless I have to. I'll even give you a loaf of my bread, I promise I'm no bandit." The cold bit at the unicorn's face, so she put the hood of her dark cloak back up, hoping that it'll help.
  13. Iris waved to Cleo before heading in the direction that she pointed to. It was quite dark, and Iris had to squint her eyes to see, but she headed to a dim, quite small light, and made it to Cleo's camp. She heard voices, but saw nopony. She smiled, because even though she didn't like most company, it was the first time she'd seen other ponies for weeks, maybe even months.
  14. Iris took a moment to think of over, and said, "Show me to your camp, could you?"She asked Cleo. She hugged the fabric of her cloak as the cold and wind fought on, freezing the world even more. 'If it ever gets warmer, hopefully I'll live for it,' thought the white unicorn, her golden hair flying in the wind.
