[Lost 1,410]

So I got bored and decided it was about time I made some sort of logo for my YouTube clan, I'm not sure which version I like the best though.

 

 

 

 

It's just a simple placeholder logo until we can recruit someone talented enough to make us a better one

 

Figured I would get some options from you guys, this was my first time using Inkscape (for the S shape) and my first I'm using photoshop in months, last thing I made was my sig.

I like the first one the most. The middle one looks okay, and I like the last one the least. The bright blue, solid shape stands out too much in my opinion. So yea I would go for one of the first two.

Yeah, the last oneis the original drawing, the other two are just the same drawing with different layer settings and overlays on, as a full size image I am quite partial to the first one but as it will be a smaller image in some places, I'm not sure if the S is too opaque to be properly visible in smaller sizes, like on YouTube avatars.

Hmmm, that's probably true. And I think the word you were looking for was transparent Opaque would be the last one. Anyways I think that the transparency of the second one is perfect, it just needs a different color. One that matches the colors of the circle. (Red, grey, etc.) Hope that helps!

Aye I meant transparent, it's 5:30 AM here, not thinking straight

I agree with this whole heartedly, the opacity of the S is much more noticeable from a distance in comparison to the first clan logo you've got up top. What I'd suggest is making the S a solid instead of a translucent object. If you decide to edit the color try to make it contrast with the circle, you want to emphasis the S so be sure that sucker pops out! If you go the route of recoloring you may want to do some research on complementaries, split complementary, triad and tetrad colors.
