OK so I want to make an SOL. But I want to be something new and different. I am currently part of the Sojourn Inn RP created by GaleFenrir and it is a different kind of SOL and it inspired me to create an original idea as well. Although I'm not very good in that department. So if anyone wants to help with some ideas, that would be awesome

I was planning on doing something myself, but wasn't sure where to start. You have any rough ideas?

Could do something along the line's of moving into a new city, or community housing type of thing honestly there's a lot of stuff you can do with Sol Rp's. So let's get down to the story, Is there a plot? Is there some type of thing that you want to happen that put's people in the Rp in some sort of Dire damn if you do and damn if you don't type of deal.

 

If you're looking for player's and don't mind different race's then i might be interested.

Honestly I have no ideas right now. I feel like it should start as an SOL and then turn into an adventure. However the SOL part won't be short. It will basically be the RP and then when I feel like its a good time I'll ease into the adventure part. Does that sound good?

Ok, lets work from the ground up, what If I throw out some random ideas and see if any stick to the wall?

 

Where is it?

Ponyville? Canterlot? Trottingham? Crystal Kingdom? Everfree?

 

Is there some kind of event? Could make the SOL a little different and also link in with adventure.

Celebration? Foreign Guest? Eclipse? Aurora (Northern Lights) appearing? 

 

Who is there?

Friends? Strangers? A gathering or just a few folk who meet by chance?

 

I like your plan, loved how Sojourn turned out (whether intended or not) so yeah, I could totally go for a SoL / adventure hybrid.

(Yea but Sojourn seems to be dying down. I might have Dust interact with Symphony when I feel in a typey mood. Which could be right after this post )

 

OK I think I know what I'm gonna do now. I'm not gonna say so its a surprise, but I will say I took a couple things from Cinderscribe's ideas. I'll make the searching thread... eventually.
