I really loved Rainbow Dash's overall because her style of being still athletic stood out to me and the fact she played soccer instead of being an ace at flying. Also, I adored Cheerilee's Equestria girl look. Don't ask me why but she's got to be my favourite out of the supporting characters .Finally, my favourite minor character was Trixie; she really played a humorous role in a scene I especially liked with her having an interest in peanut butter crackers.

 

If you guys are wondering why I didn't mention Fluttershy in my thread, its because I really hated her design. If they could only fix one minor mistake which is basically the eye shadow. Why the heck would you add make-up to Fluttershy if one, she doesn't wear eye shadow as a pony and two, eye shadow ruins the fact she's into nature and animal critters. If Hasbro wants us to think Fluttershy is very girly, then suit themselves.

Why the heck would you add make-up to Fluttershy if one, she doesn't wear eye shadow as a pony...

 

Have you guys ever noticed that sometimes a particular pony will have eyelids the same color as the rest of her body, and then other times the same pony's eyelids will be a slightly different shade?  What is the deal with that?  Are they supposed to be wearing eye makeup sometimes, or is it just an inconsistency in the animation, or what?

 

(Or perhaps this phenomenon is all in my imagination.)

In terms of background humans:

There was one blue guy with a bad mustache, I kinda liked him lol...

And the orange mohawk dude was awesome.

And there was one girl who was sort of a very light green in color with brown hair, I thought she was cute.

In terms of main characters:

Rarity > all. Her design was just amazing and in some ways she was more generous than pony Rarity.

I also liked how AJ and Fluttershy looked as humans because their color schemes translate well to that type of design.

The CMC and Vinyl looked pretty good too.

The rest I like better as ponies.

You know, Applejack should really have some love.  She's always the last in polls and the most hated in out of the mane six. Poor AJ.

I've always thought it was because of what she stood for. Honesty is highly undervalued in American society both as a virtue and a sign of respect. Seeing it from that angle, it isn't hard to see why her fans are less than Fluttershy- Who doesn't want to be kind? And if we're being totally honest, she's cute in many different ways, although I don't much dig her mane (Sorry guys, it's just a personal thing)- or Rainbow Dash- Spirit of Adventure (The West) is very strong to most Americans, at least when they're young. Loyalty is something that's heavily valued, but not easily found.

 

The others all have reasons for being 'better' in the eyes of their fans. I could go through them, but I'd rather talk about why I think Applejack should get more attention. Honesty is important in any relationship. A relationship built on lies is bound to crumble, no matter how strong the attraction. And Applejack herself is one of the best examples of strong female independence in the show. She tries to do anything and everything she can by herself, often doing more than Big Mac both around the farm and in the house. She seems to be the Matriarchal head of the Apple family in Ponyville. On top of that, ponies turn to her for help, with admitably mixed results, which she at least responds to every time.

 

Maybe it's the lack of connectivity between her and the fan base, but I think she one of the best looking ponies in the show. Call me biased, but as far as ponies go I think she looks better than Rarity. And she rocks that rural outfit in EQG. One Applejack vs two boys: table carrying competition. Money's on AJ, sorry guys.

 

Probably wasn't expecting a rant. Feel free to not read this as it's biased and not really EQG related.
