Celestia?

You ponies make me feel so very amateurish. What kind of programs do you guys use for your art??

Anyway, I did this one for a few of my brony friends for the Summer Sun Celebration a few weeks back. It's just another basic pen sketch, so please let me know what you think!

Looks good! Very faithful to her design. If you be wanting to know what programs to look into for digital inking/coloring, GIMP and Inkscape are good free ones. I personally use a combination of GIMP and Paint Shop Pro, the latter of which being terribly outdated, but...eh, I fear change.

Oooh, one of the earlier vectors! You traced this wonderfully on pen. Keep it up! This definitely improves and gives you more comfortability with drawing ponies. <3

Wow, that's absolutely gorgeous! Kudos to you, man. You've got some artistic abilities!

 

I bet it would look 20% more awesomer if it were brought to life with vibrant, eye-candy colors

Oh, you wouldn't want to do that! Nnnnnope, you sure wouldn't!

 

You could always make a copy if you ever want to bring color to the already amazing piece, though, I think it's fine the way it is. Even in a monochrome format, the way you drew it makes it look quite alluring. The shading work is simply divine! Keep it up

I actually did my first full color drawing since like...middle school yesterday, but I've been debating whether or not I ever want it to come out of the folder it's being stored in. XD

Man, this would be 20 percent cooler if we colored it in, then it would be SO AWESOME.

As it stands though it is still really really good drawing and i hope to see more of this work soon.
