Blue Moon 6,341 July 14, 2013 Share July 14, 2013 Whenever I try to put JPEG pictures when I make a thread, it says that the file extension is not allowed. I was was wondering why they aren't allowed? However, the picture below is a JPEG, and it is working. It this just me, or does anyone else have this problem? (Sorry, for the random jibberish earlier. I was testing out JPEG's to make sure they actually didn't work, and it wasn't just those times. I didn't expect it to work, but thanks to the best luck in the world, it did. I feel really stupid and embarrassed right now. Sorry! However, my question still stands.) Autumn Blue Moon Clear Skies Summer
Cwanky 17,598 July 14, 2013 Share July 14, 2013 Yea I've been having this problem as well. At 1st I thoughght it was simply b/cuz the sources were unknown or the content was too racy or mature.
Gabriel Smith 53 July 14, 2013 Share July 14, 2013 I've never had any problem with JPEG images, but I tend to have this issue with PNG images instead. I did find a workaround though. If you save the image to your PC, and upload it as an attachment, it seems to get around this issue.
Solution Marcato 2,143 July 18, 2013 Solution Share July 18, 2013 This isn't a problem with certain threads disallowing jpg's, it's usually moreso an issue with the link you posted. Often, the end of the link may have been twisted or changed slightly. Other times it's an awkward blurp in IP Board's system. I have personally experienced this problem in the past, and it almost always was fixed with a refresh or taking a look at the image link carefully. I hope this answers your question adequately? 4 ~Relax and enJOY life.
