Need Ideas for my new rare oc

Im wanting to make a new oc but I want it to to look rare like never seen before pony but cant think of nothing

so feel free to post eny ideas for my new oc every pony who ideas that are in the oc I will have a list of credit where who ever helped make or idea in it will be listed in my post in the fan art section thanks

If I may ask, what kind of a "theme" or "feel" do you want for this OC? Are they a light hearted type of pony? Are they perhaps cold hearted? Remorseful, detatched, or has something to work with basically?

 

Unique characters need something to define them, so the suggestions would be reflective upon how you want the character to turn out.

If you were willing to go with an alicorn, then a male alicorn would be pretty unique. Especially one the size of Celestia. Outside of that I can't think of anything atm.

Perhaps it could be a "tribal" pony? From some other place in the Equestrian world. Perhaps he/she could have a "tribal pattern" on their body, or have carved their horn (If they have one) into a unique shape to symbolize that?

 

Or some kind of a different nationality background. Somewhat as if the pony had a different ethnicity. So perhaps he/she could be from a sandy desert country, perhaps it could be from an Asian themed country, or a completely unique one that you make up yourself. This can result in different shaped body parts such as eyes, horn, hooves, w/e you can think that would make them unique. Perhaps that have a special coat patter on their body due to that ethnicity.
