Well before I get into the reason i'm here, i'll give you a little back story, as long as it doesn't bore you (:

 

Well i'm Nick, i'm 18 y/o and live in Australia (: I do a bit of graphic designing and tasks alike, and hopefully going to peruse a career in Graphic or Game design (: I've been into gaming and the internet ever since I remember, seeing as socialisng isn't my strong point. I've been through alot of fandoms, Pokemon, Runescape, Guild Wars, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy, Zelda and I still love all of them, I truly am a gamer at heart (:

 

So back on topic, I've always been one to look at both sides of a argument before coming to a conclusion. However once I discovered people other than young girls watching MLP I was greatly confused, and unsure, but not wanting to say anything I would regret I left the matter alone with a neutral feeling, I know there are many things that I may not enjoy but others do, so I thought let them have their space and i'll have mine, seeing MLP didn't see the slightest bit appealing to me.

 

So nearly a year passed and I was browsing YouTube for some AMV's, when I noticed a PMV of the song 'Stamp on the Ground' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kISjRO3L2U) Which I very very much enjoyed, and video, it seemed so appealing, along with the music it had a fun feel to it, and there were such a range of different scenes, which seemed oddly energetic and appealing. So upon watching some more PMVs, I decided to look into the actual show, it was quite late so I thought since there isn't anything else to do I have time for a episode, well at the end of season 1 at 7am I decided, this, this show is for me. 

 

I'm very 'fussy' if you will, with TV shows and movies. Hollywood seems to be filled with drama and relationships which I dislike. Seeing my main genre of TV shows and Movies is Horror/Thrillers, having this much enjoyment from a show about ponys was very surprising, never the less, it was a pleasant surprise.

 

Which brings me to here, if you're still reading this first of all, thank you ^-^, secondly I've come to this forum to be able to become a part of a community where we all share the same interest, with no judgments made, I believe for someone to be a 'brony' we must all be nonjudgmental, as we would of had to give the show a chance, so here I am, asking to become accepted in this community (:

 

I may be a Blank Flank, but throughout socializing around here, within this community, I believe this is somewhere where I can feel at home (:

 

If you read all of this thank you, I know I tend to babble on about nonsense.

 

So here I am, wanting to become a part of this solid foundation of a community, I hope I can talk to some of you soon.

I have always always wanted to visit down there. Maybe sometime in the future I will be able to. It's awesome that you came into liking the show. It was a lot like the same for me at first I thought it was really weird from hearing about this fandom and etc. But yeah this a great place with a bunch of kind people here.
