Thunder looked behind the apple pyramid "AHA... Wait, she's not here." Thunder looked at Caprisha a bit embarrased. "Let's just go home and confront Charcoal when she comes home." Then they walked by the dairy. Thunder didn't take notice of Charcoal sitting there.

Charcoal watched them start to leave and relaxed a bit. Then she started to panic again when she remembered that they were headed back to the apartment, where she was supposed to be. She walked to another door and exited out and sprinted around a longer way to try and make it back before they did.

 

"Yeah, but honestly I wouldn't be surprised if she had followed us out here." Caprisha said as they started walking back.

"Neither would i be, but honestly, it's nice to spend some time without Charcoal and not having to worry about her health. Plus, i can spend the time with you instead." Thunder smiled at Caprisha. Vaguely seeing a pony running on the other side of the street. It that Charcoal again? No, i must be seeing things.

Caprisha was a little surprised to hear that last part. "Why would you want to spend time with me? I thought you didn't trust unicorns, and I am a unicorn."

 

Charcoal had sprinter the whole way there and she finally made it. She gets to her room and opens the door. Or it would have opened if it wasn't locked. "Alright... that's fine... I'll just use... my key." She reaches for her key but it wasn't there. She looks for the spare key but it was gone to. "Shit. Ok, ok, calm down. Lets seen if I can force it open. She reaches into her mane and pulls out a bobby pin. She then open up her right wing and takes the screwdriver. Getting in he right place she begins to force the lock.

Charcoal had managed to get the door open, and thankfully before Thunder and Caprisha got back. Walking in she shuts the door and locks it back. She goes over to the couch and lays down on it after taking Lightning out of the carrier. With Lightning at her side she relaxes on the couch and waits for the others to get home.

 

"Well lucky me." Caprisha said with only the very slightest hint of sarcasm. "Well I guess friendship starts with trust."

"Let's just hope it'll become and remain a good friendship then." Thunder said, walking after her. Damn, i was right, that butt is even finer up close. Thunder and Caprisha walk upstairs to the apartment. THunder opens the door and walks inside, putting the bag on the kitchen table. "We're home." He yelled at Charcoal.

Charcoal hears Thunder and runs up to him with Lightning still in her arm. "Welcome home." Charcoal says as she begins to muzzle Thunder unserviceable his chin. "So how was your walk with, Caprisha." She says with clenched teeth. "Did you get us something good to eat?"

"Nothing special but... wait... how did you know what we were doing." Thunder asked, his suspicions were now raised. He looked at Charcoal with a suspicious look. "Were you perhaps following us? Was that what you were doing? Can i still trust you if that's the case?"

"So you are saying that the bags you just put in the kitchen aren't groceries?" Charcoal asked. Though she sounded confident her heart was hammering inside. She let herself slip. Please believe it, oh luna I really have to be more careful about what I say.

"Then explain why i saw you, hiding behind apples at the fruit stand." Thunder confronted Charcoal. Now with even more suspicion on his face. He took a step closer to Charcoal, looking down on her, as he was taller this was possible for him to do. He looked Charcoal in her eyes.

"I... um... y-you didn't see me behind the apples. You couldn't have seen me, I've been at home the whole time taking care of Lightning, see." She says as she held up Lightning for Thunder to see.

 

"No mommy." Lightning said. Which shocked Charcoal for more reasons than one.

"I-I'm not sure Thunder." Charcoal said, surprised at Lightnings sudden speaking. "I didn't even know he was speaking, he hasn't spoken since I lost my memory a while back."

 

Caprisha had been quiet for most of the time since they had gotten back and she was just as surprised at Lightning speaking. "I'm not sure what it means either but my bits would be on what Thunder said."

"Charcoal, please tell me, were you following us? I won't get mad if you did, i'll only get mad if you lie to me. Please be honest, it's the best thing to do." Thunder looked at Charcoal. He didn't look happy at all. He looked upset because he knew Charcoal was lying.

"I-I didn't... I wasn't... *sigh* alright, I was following you." Charcoal finally relented. "I just couldn't stand the thought of you being alone with Caprisha. I'm sorry I lied to you, I didn't know what you would think if you knew I was following you." Charcoal lowered her head in shame. "Though I did see you staring at Caprisha at the store, care to explain that?"

"I was just looking around where she was going, to make sure she was actually getting vegetables and not like junkfood or somethink like that. I saw that she was actually going to the vegetable section and i went to the meat section myself, for tonights dinner.

Charcoal wanted to question him, but she was probably in boiling water as it was, she wasn't going to lush her luck. "Alright, so what's for dinner." She asked as she tenitivly tries her luck at muzzling Thunder, even if she was ashamed she still thought that this felt really good.

"Pork meat, and whatever vegetables Caprisha brought." Thunder looked at Caprisha. "What vegetables did you buy? Now that i think of it you never told what you bought. Maybe now is a good time to say what we're having for dinner." He said, opening the bag of meat.

Caprisha thought back to the store. "I got carrots, celery, some peppers, and a few apples. I know apples aren't vegetables but I know Charcoal loves apples." Caprisha said as she brings her bags to the kitchen as well.

 

"Sounds good." Charcoal said as she begins to get a bit more shuggly as Thunder doesn't object.

"Then, who's gonna cook dinner tonight? Obviously i can't do it, because all the hassle of today i need rest. Also my chest is hurting from the approximately 20 bullets that went trough it, so that may be another reason to rest. So it's either Charcoal, or Caprisha."

Charcoal took this as a quick opportunity. "I say Caprisha should do it. If you aren't feeling right I'm sure I can make you feel really good, maybe even if you don't want me to." Charcoal said in a seductive voice.

 

Caprisha just shrugged. "I have no problem with cooking dinner."

"No Charcoal, i appreciae your offer, but right now i need real rest wake me up when september ends when dinner's ready." Thunder walked to his room, but before closing the door behind him he said: "And don't try to kill Caprisha, Charcoal. Please, leave her alone."

Charcoal was crushed by Thunders words to her. "He... doesn't want me?" She collapses on the spot and starts crying on the floor with Lightning sitting beside her.

 

Caprisha walks up to Charcoal and places a hoof on her back. "There, there, it's alright he still wa-" She is cut off by Charcoal grabbing her hoof and throwing her into the wall then she resumes crying. After prying herself off the wall she decides to leave Charcoal alone and just start dinner. After about an hour of cooking she finishes dinner. It is Thunders meat cooked with the juice from the peppers with steamed celery and chopped carrots. "Dinners ready." She yells as she levitates dinner to the table.

Thunder wasn't in his room for even a minute and he heard fighting sounds. He walked out of the room. "Charcoal! Where's Caprisha, what have you done to her? I told you to stay calm, try to not over-fucking-react. You didn't even last a fucking minute doing so.

Thunder wasn't in his room for even a minute and he heard fighting sounds. He walked out of the room. "Charcoal! Where's Caprisha, what have you done to her? I told you to stay calm, try to not over-fucking-react. You didn't even last a fucking minute doing so.

Charcoal cowered when Thunder started yelling. "I-I'm sorry." Charcoal said in a low voice.

 

"Bad mommy." Lightning said as he saw the scene play out in front of him.

 

"I'm in the kitchen." Caprisha yelled. "Don't worry about it, Charcoal just didn't take very kindly to me trying to calm her down and threw me against the wall. I'm fine so there isn't anything to yell at her about."
