"Charcoal, is there something wrong?" Thunder asked. "You seem different from the regular you. You refused my jacket and now you don't know what to order. You're always so... Different than this." He explained as he saw the waiteress mare coming towards their table.

Charcoal was silent for a while before the waitress came. Then she simply said nothing as Caprisha placed her order.

 

"I would like a BLT please. And, would it also be possible for me to add some other stuff on to it as I eat?" Caprisha asked. The waitress nodded and wrote down Caprisha's order. Then she turned to Thunder and waited on his order.

Thunder gave one last look at Charcoal before he turned to the waitress. "I'd like the omelette sandwich please, with some extra pepper on it." He said. Then he looked back at Charcoal. He looked like he wasn't expecting an answer, but he would like one. 12

Charcoal set down her menu. "Just give me a plain waffle." Charcoal said. She gathered up all the menus and hoofed them to the waitress. She took them and went to the kitchen to give the cook their order. Charcoal just layed her head on her hoof and stared outside at the rain.

Thunder sighed at the sight of Charcoal sitting like this. Then he turned to Caprisha. "So, Prish, since Charcoal isn't really coöperating, what would you like to do after we've eaten?" He asked Caprisha, suddenly he seemed a lot happier than when looking at Charcoal.

Thunder sighed at the sight of Charcoal sitting like this. Then he turned to Caprisha. "So, Prish, since Charcoal isn't really coöperating, what would you like to do after we've eaten?" He asked Caprisha, suddenly he seemed a lot happier than when looking at Charcoal.

Caprisha put a hoof on her chin to think. "Maybe we could see a movie or something like that." Caprisha said. She looked at Charcoal and frowned. "Something happy. Maybe a comedy or something like that." Caprisha offered. She wanted Charcoal to enjoy herself as well.

"Yeah, that's a great idea actually." Thunder said. He smiled. "A comedy... Well, i have no idea about what movies are currently playing at the cinema so you'll have to inform me on that one." He added. "But yeah, that would be lovely to do for all of us, i'm sure of it." Stuff.

"I don't know what is playing. I haven't seen a movie in a long time. And I know Charcoal hasn't either." Caprisha said. She looked at Charcoal again. "Charcoal, are you alright? If something is wrong you can tell either of us." Caprisha said, trying to get Charcoal to open up.

 

Charcoal just stayed silent and stared out of the window at the rain.

"No wait, please don't leave!" Both Charcoal and Caprisha said at the same time. "I'm sorry." Charcoal said. "It's just... I'm worried if I say something that I will lose control and break down into tears again." Charcoal was starting to shed a few tears. "Please don't go yet."

Caprisha was just sort of a spectator to all of this, but she wished she had some popcorn right now, things were really getting good here.

Thunder and Charcoal walked back home trough the rain. This time Thunder didn't offer Charcoal his jacket. If she wanted it she could ask and he'd think about it. The way home was filled with uncomfortable moments from the beginning until at least the middle.

Charcoal grabbed Thunder's hoof, but pulled Thunder into a hug and started crying a bit. "I'm sorry Thunder. I'm so sorry for ruining our last day before you leave. I really want to spend time with you, but I guess I screwed that up big time." Charcoal said with tears in her eyes.

Charcoal cried for a minute before breaking the hug and wiping the tears off her face with a hoof. "Alright. That sounds nice." Charcoal stood up on shaky hooves and held out a hoof to help Thunder up off the ground. She needed to try and get a hold of herself.

Thunder stood up and walked back home with Charcoal. Once arrived at home Thunder went up to the couch and crashed down on it. He looked at Charcoal and smiled. "Charcoal, would you mind grabbing me a beer? I'm kinda thirsty after all that hugging." He asked.

That wasn't what Charcoal wanted to hear at all. But Charcoal nodded and walked to the fridge to grab Thunder a drink. She grabbed herself one as well and walked back to the couch. She gave Thunder his drink and sad down on the couch beside him and opened up her beer and took a drink.

Charcoal shook her head. "No, sorry. I can't really think of anything. I'm not the smart one here." Charcoal said as she had a drink and set her drink down on the coffee table in front of her. She really did try and think of something, but she was drawing a blank.

Thunder leaned forward and kissed Charcoal. "I know something we can do tonight." He said with an arousing smile, looking Charcoal in her eyes. Then he drank the rest of his beer in one big swig and set the can back down on the coffee table where it stood before.

Charcoal got the message, or at least she was pretty sure she did. She blushed and started fiddling with her hooves. "Um... sure." Charcoal looked at her beer and did the same as Thunder did by drinking the rest of it in one go. She set her empty can next to Thunders.
