"alright, lets go ahead and do it. Let us know ifit begins to hurt too much, alright?" Grand asked before grabbing a small medical brush.The mare nodded nervously. Grand began to clean the wound carefully at first, but putting a bit more force gradually. The mare winced and tensed as she did so

 

Caramel took a deep breath and aimed at the bottles, trying to keep the gun steady. she hesitated for a moment before puling the trigger. the bullet missed the bottles, but wasnt all too far away

Caramel took a deep breath and aimed at the bottles, trying to keep the gun steady. she hesitated for a moment before puling the trigger. the bullet missed the bottles, but wasnt all too far away

Zeta looked over to Grand, who seemed to be brushing much softer then he intended to. "Oh no, no. Grand this isn't how you take care of bad infections like this." He insisted on using the medical brush this time, since he knew how to clean it out better. "Trust me Grand. I think I would be suited to do this task if it wants to be healed."

"Alright, you should look down the middle, don't focus on pulling the trigger, just try and focus on the object you're trying to hit." Starburst said, Starburst pulled a gun from his holster and shot the bottle.

 

Missy woke up again, happy this time, in pain, but happy.

 

"OK, Stephan, you go help Big Mac with the trees, me and Fire'll go plant some new apple trees." Applejack said.

Grand huffed as she was pushed aside. "Just be careful with the patient" She said in an agitated voice. As he was doing that, she grabbed a few o the painkillers and geve them to the young mare, who had her teeth clenched and her eyes shut. "Here, take these, It'll make it easier" She said in a warm tone

Caramel nodded and tried again. She breathed in and pulled the trigger, this town without much hesitation, and struck the top of one of the bottles. She smiled proudly as she laughed. She was feeling much stronger too. "I did it!" she said joyfully, looking at Starburst

Stephan walked over to the field where Big Mac was and got to work. He took out a few apple tree seeds and dug some holes in the ground, putting seeds in the holes.

 

"I'm sorry, sir. Doctor Finale is a little busy right now. You'll have to wait a little while until she calls you in." The doctor says.

Light nodded and headed back to his seat, continuing to wait.

Caramel nodded and tried again. She breathed in and pulled the trigger, this town without much hesitation, and struck the top of one of the bottles. She smiled proudly as she laughed. She was feeling much stronger too. "I did it!" she said joyfully, looking at Starburst

He waited for the patient to take the painkillers before looking back over at what Grand had done so far. Because of it, he re-dipped the brush in the antibiotic and gave the mare a rolled up towel.

"Bite down."

Immediately, he started to scrub hard on the wound, doing the best he could to brush all of the infection off. Indeed there was a little blood that had started to come out, but at the same time a lot of clear liquid came as well which indicated it was starting to get disinfected.

After around 5 minutes of pain, he stopped when just about all of it was gone. Then he put that aside and grabbed some towels to clean up the blood. "Alright, all done. That wasn't so hard was it?"

The mare took a few deep breaths before nodding slightly. "Perhaps we should leave her alone. The painkillers should kick in soon" SHe said warmly as she left the room, making her way to the lobby, where she was told there was another patient. "Light Streak? What are you doing? Were you injured in that whole fiasco last night?" she asked, surprised to see him here

"Good, you should keep practicing, we'll move on to moving targets later." Starburst smiled and celebrated with Caramel.

 

"So, how's the little one doin'?" Applejack asked.

"You mean the baby, well, I'm not quite sure,  I hope she's healthy." Fire said, causing Applejack to stop in her tracks.

"She, as in, it's a female pony." AJ asked.

"Yeah, she is, why?" Fire repied.

"No reason, just that you've got yer work cut out fer ya." AJ said, laughing afterwards.

Big Mac looked over to Stephan and sighed. He put down what he was doing and walked over to him. "No, no. Yer doin' it all wrong. Let me do it." Big Mac took the seeds and something Stephan didn't take; a shovel. He dug a nice little hole in the ground with the shovel and planted the seeds. He then looked at Stephan again. "Ever heard of a shovel?" Big Mac asked.

"Heh. Shovel? Who needs one of those things?"

"Farmers like me and mah sister." He said, returning to his look. "If you're gonna farm, please use a shovel. Or, at the very least, use gloves of some sort."
Stephan rolled his eyes and returned to work.

 

Light looked at Grand. "Well, I sort of broke my wing when the base blew up... and it kind of needs to be patched up." He explained.

Grand sighed. "Thats an easy fix, I can set it for you, just follow me to the check up room" She said as she led him into the room"Alright, I'll just set it and put it in a splint for you" She told him as she worked. "now, you wont be able to fly for a while,so just keep your wing relaxed" She said, stressing the last part

 

Caramel smiled. "alright, Ill try one more time" She said excitedly. She once again tooke a deep breath and pulled the trigger. It hit a bottle right in its center, "Yes!" She said proudly

Light nodded. "Hopefully I can keep up with Stephan for a while on foot." He chuckled a little. "Wait, aren't you pretty much the only real doctor in this building? I doubt that's the case. But, if so, doesn't tending to all of these patients get tiresome on your own?" He asked.

"Im not the only one, but theres only one doctor per shift. So in total there are three doctors right now. Yes, it can be tiresome, but I dont mind. As long as im helping, I dont mind being a bit tired" she smiled, finisheing up the wing. "there you are, all done" She said with a smile

Light smiled. "Thank you very much, miss Finale. I knew you were a good mare the moments we met up in that changeling dungeon." He told her, looking at his patched up wing. "You know, if you want, I could probably build some new advanced medical equipment for you and the other doctors to use. I mean, if you want."

"Congratulations." Starburst levitated a bottle into the air.

"Alright, we're going to start simple, I'm going to move this bottle left and right and you're going to try and hit it." Starburst said.

 

Fire began planting the seeds.

"How's Twilight? I hear she got hurt in the attack." Applejack asked.

"She's fine, absolutely fine, injured, but fine." Fire said.

Stephan turned his head to him. "Nuclear reaction. Me and Light threw some dynamite into the nuclear reactor of the bandits' base. Blew the whole place up into the sky."

Big Mac's eyes widened. "Sheesh. Grand was right. Yer the most reckless pony I've ever laid eyes on."

Stephan smirked. "What can I say? I'm crazy, but I'm a good kind of crazy."

Caramel had gained confidence in her abilities and held the gun securely as she aimed it and shot, just missing the bottle. Without hesitation, she shot again, hitting one of the bottles. "Yes! This is so much fun!" SHe said excitedly

 

Grand smiled. "Anything to help the hospital would be greatly appreaciated Light, That would help us out alot" She said warmly, glad her firends were willing to help ponies in need

"Good. Remember, don't shoot where it is. Shoot where it's going to be." Starburst threw the bottle into the air.

 

Fire bucked a tree, the apples fell out of it.

"You've got strong legs, wasn't expectin' that." Applejack said.

"Well, I suppose that's right, unicorns aren't really known for being strong." Fire said.

Grand smiled. "Anything to help the hospital would be greatly appreaciated Light, That would help us out alot" She said warmly, glad her firends were willing to help ponies in need

Zeta patiently waited outside, looking up at the clock and sighed. From the time, they were on a tight schedule so he walked into the room to see Light and Grand talking. "I hate to inform, but we're starting to run late for our next patient. Very sorry Light, but we have to go treat the next pony in need."

Caramel looked at the bottle with cetermination and shot at it, hitting it directly. "Yes! This is easy, I dont know what my sisters always complaining about" She said excitedly, she turned around to thank Starburst but something caught her eye. "Hey, have those burns been there the whole time?" SHe asked, looking at them with a bit of concern

 

Grand nodded. "Yes, your right Zeta, we should be going. Thanks for your offer Lightstreak!" She said before walking off with Zeta. "Alright, who do we have next?"

"Back during the attack, the explosive that was thrown into the room, it was going to kill you and I had no time to put up a forcefield, so I had to shield you from the explosion." Starburst pointed to his face, there were scars that had been left where the shrapnel hit him. "Anyway, you're making great progress, though I think you should give the gun back to me, since Grand will probably bite my head off if she found out."

"From the charts here..." Zeta said, looking at the paper that was on it which read who the pony was. "It is a Stallion who's leg needs to be, amputated. Ugh, that already makes me shiver from how it might look.."

But aside from it all, they entered the room where the man was, luckily his leg being covered up for now. He was breathing rapidly, doing his best to calm himself down when Zeta looked to him. "Alright, you ready to do this Grand..?"

Caramel nodded. "Yeah, we can practice again tomorrow maybe" She said, handing the gun back to Starburst. "I guess I should thank you for saving my life, I dont think I gave you a proper thank you" She said with a smile

 

Grand smirked at Zeta's reaction. "Ive done it twice before. You can step out of the room if this is a bit too much for you" She said before giving the patients a narcotic. Once he fell asleep she took the cover off the leg. It was incredibly damaged. The tendons had been torn and the bone was nearly the only thing sitll in one piece.

Zeta happened to turn his head to the leg that was messed up, almost getting a gag before looking back to Grand. "N-nope. It's alright.. I think i'll stay here, help you out on this. Just get it done quick, please."

So he went over to the drawers, looking through before pulling out a bonesaw and handed it to her. Luckily it was clean so there was no delay in getting his leg cut and patched up.

Starburst took the gun and put it into his other holster.

"No need to thank me, just doing what needs to be done." Starburst said. "Is there anything you want to do or need help with before I go and see my mum?"

 

Missy was reading a book, it was a Daring Do book. The last one ever written.

Grand laughed a little at Zeta. :You can go get some painkillers for when I'm finished" She said with a smile. She took the saw and began to cut. It was much easier than the last few times she did it. No moving around and no hordes of trotters. She finished quickly and placed it in a sanitary disposal bag before cleaning the wound and grafting it (I think thats how it works) She was finished within 45 minutes

 

Caramel thought for a moment. "No, I'm fine. Thanks for showing me how to use that though. I think i'll just go lay down for a bit" She said before making her way inside her home
