"I'm sorry, there's nothing more we can do." The doctor said, extending a hoof to help Dash up to her hooves. Dash stared blankly at Stephan, waiting for something to happen.

 

"Alright, can you go back to the house and tell Grand I want to talk to her? When you're ready to leave of course." Missy asked.

Stephan looked over at Dash, walked up to her, and hugged her. He began to tear up a little bit.

"I'm so sorry, Rainbow Dash." Stephan said, trying his best not to break down. "It's my fault. I didn't protect you from the assassin..."

 

Light nodded. "I'll go get Grand real quick. C'mon, Sirius." Light took Sirius out of the hospital. He noticed that Stephan was having a little scene, and that he probably shouldn't butt in.

"It wasn't your fault, Stephan, it was mine, now....." Dash tried a happy expression. "I'll help you pack some stuff you might need. After all, we'll be leaving later."

 

Starburst sat at the table and looked blankly out of a window.

"I have some serious thinking to do, maybe it's too big of a commitment to make so early." Starburst thought.

Caramel noticed starburst looking a little confused. She walked up to him quietly. "Hey, what's up? You look like your doing some pretty heavy thinking" she said, coming up next to him

 

Grand was in the living room, pacing back and forth worriedly, though she wasn't entirely sure what was worrying her at the moment

"Oh, it's nothing, just thinking about the future, for us, for everypony, I just hope that after everything that's happened, we can have a normal life." Starburst said. "Shall we start planning? Do you think Grand could help, seeing as how she is used to big events."

Caramel sighed. "I don't know Starburst, maybe asking Grand isn't such a good idea. We still aren't the best of terms, not to mention how stressed she already is about Missy and the theatre opening" she said, sitting down next to Starburst and leaning her head on his shoulder

Stephan sighed and put on a fake smile.

"Okay, Dashie. Let's go finish packing." He said, leading her out of the hospital building.

 

Light walked back to the house with Sirius and sat her down on the couch.

"Alright, Grand, you're turn." Light called to her. "Missy's waiting for you in her hospital room."

"So, what do you want to do today?" Starburst asked. "I think we should take the wedding planning, and put it over here." Starburst motioned with his hoof as if he were moving boxes.

 

"What are you going to tell your parents about me?" Dash asked. "Will they like me?"

Grand looked up to Light and nodded. "Yes, alright" she said before wrapping her scarf around her neck and walking outside. She tried her best to calm herself down before she entered the hospital and very carefully. Opened the door. "Hello Missy" she said quietly, with a smile on her face. "How are you feeling?"

 

Caramel giggled "sure, that's a perfect spot"

"Hello Grand, thanks for coming." Missy said. "I'm sorry, sorry for what I've put you and the others through."

 

"I thought so, it fits just perfectly, anyway." Starburst kissed Caramel for about 8 seconds and smiled. "Alright, after breakfast, we should just sit in the bedroom and make out all day, how's that for a plan?" Starburst asked sarcastically.

Grand smiled "oh don't he silly, what do you have to apologize for? It's not your fault you ended up comatose" she said, sitting down next to her bed. "I'm just glad your okay" she said happily. "I missed having another mare to talk to"

 

Caramel laughed. "As lovely as that sounds, we should probably do something productive"

"I must have added to the already existing stress, and I'm sorry." Missy said. "Do you think I should forgive Steel? I don't think I can after what he did." Missy looked down at Glint and stroked her mane.

 

"What do you suggest then Caramel? Wanna make cupcakes again?" Starburst asked. "We did SO well last time."

Stephan smiled at Dash.

"Why wouldn't they like you, Dash?" Stephan asked. "You're an absolutely awesome mare. I'll just simply say that you're my girlfriend with rainbow hair. It'll be just as simple as that." He assured her. Although, he was a bit worried on whether or not they'd question her hair or not.

Grand smiled. "I wouldn't be the person to act. I want to help him find a better... Path. I tend to see the best in ponies whether it's there or not" she said with a sigh.

 

Caramel smiled. "You got another kitchen? Grand told me we weren't allowed to use here after the last disaster"

Missy smiled. "That's what I've always liked about you Grand," Missy put her hoof to Grand's cheek. "It's good to see you again." Missy put her hoof away.

 

"Yeah, I'm just being paranoid, you'd have to explain that I'm crippled or something." Dash joked a bit. "Now I can say that and it actually be true. I just wanted one last race, but......"

 

"Oh yeah, I forgot about that, so what do we do now?" Starburst asked.

Stephan leaned down and kissed Dash.

"I have a new goal, Dash; to find a cure for you." Stephan said. "You're one of the most important mares in my life, and I don't want to see you stuck to the ground like me. I'll find a cure for you once the holidays are over, just so we can have that one last race..."

"We're talking about a physical disability, Stephan, not just some flu or disease." Dash argued. "I'm not gonna get my hopes up for something that may or may not exist, but I really like that you care so much about me." Dash cuddled up to him and kissed him. "I'm not going to look forward to having two legs."

Grand smiled. " I'm glad to see you too. Its been crazy since you got put in this.... Building" she said,still holding resentment towards it. "I'm glad I've got somepony to talk to again"

 

Caramel smiled. "I don't know, how about that race you totally cheated at. I want a rematch" she said with a smirk

"I might be a bit over my head, but from all of the stuff I've experienced in the thirteen years I've been in Equestria, I think a cure is bound to exist if I just believe hard enough." Stephan said in a joking matter. "Don't worry. You'll get used to having two legs. It'll take time, but you will."

And the fact that you can go back and forth, it's pretty amazing that you came here instead of one that didn't have magic~"

"Ohhhh, so it's like my mommy! She has to wait every 30 or so moons just to see for 3 nights, and I think the crescent moon is actually supposed to be today too~" She replied, a little surprised and then quite happy. "Do you think that the mirror and her sight come up at the same time?"

"Meh, it's still gonna be awkward." Dash said, only then starting to notice the weakness in her wings, they were just hanging a little bit. "So, what are we going to do when we get to this 'Earth' of yours? Are we going to do something fun? Something we can only do in your world?"
