"Because.....well, I don't know......" He was feeling rather strange about the belly rubbing so he lightly pushed Moon's hoof away. "Me and Caramel have a relationship that doesn't need us to have sex at all, we love each other, and that's enough for the both of us." Starburst shuffled over and got off the bed.

"Look... I'm just trying to make it so that you two can enjoy life more then what it already is now. It's the least I can do for you two." She replied and moved a little, then picked up Glint to hold. "From the things we've been through, it hasn't been so well. So if you can, then take my advice, i'm sure it will help you."

"Fine, I'll take your advice, but not tonight, not for a little while." Starburst said. "I need to find Caramel and talk to her. For two reasons now, we'll speak later."

 

All of the mane 6 had gathered in the town square and they were just talking as usual. A green earth pony arrived. Fluttershy turned to see the pony and her mouth went wide open. 

"It can't be." Fluttershy said, walking towards him, she then ran towards him and gave him a big hug.

"Wh.....I thought you.......I thought you were dead." He said.

"I thought the same. It's so nice to see you, Critic." Fluttershy said excitedly.

Moon nodded and smiled, giving a little wave before putting Glint under the covers with her and let her little head stick out. She then hugged her gently and let her snuggle into her warm fur. "I haven't done this since Sirius was a baby.. You sure do bring back memories Glint, some good memories..~"

Starburst looked over the house until he found Caramel, she was just staring out a window or something.

"Caramel? There's something I want to ask you, and you can say no, there is the alternative. But I really need to ask you this, well, one of two things, but the second things isn't important right now." Starburst asked.

 

Glint snuggled into Moon, expression changing to panic as she woke up and began crying.

Moon heard Glint the moment she began crying. So she sat up, leaning on the bed and picked her up to cradle her gently. "There there Glint... Moon's here for you, it's alright.. Did you have a bad dream or something, or are you still hungry from not drinking that much milk?"

Glint just continued crying, wriggling about a bit. Just squealing "Mummy", over and over again.

"Where's mummy?" Glint asked. "I want mummy!"

 

Meanwhile, Celestia and Luna arrived in the town square, as everypony bowed.

"Alright, we should get back to the house guys." Missy said, getting off of Celestia's back and going.

Moon just hugged her gently and bounced her a bit. "Mommy is coming Glint, just you wait, alright? I promise you she's gonna be here in just a bit..~"

 

Zeta hopped off of Luna's back, wandering with Missy back to the house. "Well.. Hearth's warming, heh.. I'm ready to celebrate this~"

Luna turned and hugged Zeta.

"Come by the Town Hall in a little while, there's something fun happening there in a little while." Luna said, smiling. "Come on Tia, we've got work to do."

 

Missy had just arrived outside the house when she noticed a hole in the roof, then she heard a familiar crying sound, she burst through the door.

"Glint? Where are you?!" Missy called.

Zeta gave a nod and followed behind Missy, giggling when she burst through the door.

 

Upstairs, Moon heard Missy and smiled to Glint, giving her a nuzzle before getting out of bed. "Mommy's here Glint~" Then she quietly flew through the hallways, downstairs to see her. "Missy dear! Your baby has been calling for you, she really misses you a lot." She said, going up to her to hand the baby over.

Missy took Glint and she almost immediately stopped crying when she saw her mother.

"Mummy!" She squealed.
"Yes, it is, it's me." Missy said. "I guess she really missed me, Starburst was never this clingy to me when he was just a little colt." Glint got really excited and teleported away. "Wow, where did she go?" Missy laughed.

"I hope she didn't teleport in the cupboard again, last time it made her cry." She said, scratching her head but then looked at Missy. "So how is my sweetie pie doing~? I heard you fought some changelings, sadly I was sick so I couldn't fight as well.." But Moon smiled anyways and hugged her. "I'm just glad you and Glint are safe, as well as the rest of everypony~"

Missy grumbled but didn't reject the hug.

"Excuse me, I'm going to go and find her." Missy said, walking away. "Glint? Glint?! Where are you?"

Glint was on the ceiling, then she dropped down and landed on Missy, she was surprised enough that she fell over.

"Glint!" Missy yelled, but then began laughing. "You're such a mischievous little filly aren't you?" Glint nodded.

Moon just laughed as well, listening to the ponies play around. "You know Missy... Glint is a pony that's reminded me of the good times from before. When things were normal, you know... But there wasn't much action back then, since everything was balanced. Anyways, to change the subject a bit.. Before we start Hearth's Warming, can we, talk..?"

Stephan sighed and began to explain.

"Earlier today... me and Dash had a little talk about... our future." He said. "She says that she knows that I'm not the one for marriage, but she says that one day, she'll want to settle down with somepony, and she says that if I can't give her that... it would be best for me and her to drift apart. I don't want that, but I love Dash. I want to give her everything in the world... but one thing I'm hesitant on is marriage."

"Marriage is something that really can't be taken lightly, you really have to think of the long term consequences of it." Fire said. "Me and Missy had the discussion after I proposed to her, she told me that she wanted children, to be honest, my mind wasn't set on the idea, but then we had Starburst and my mind just completely clicked. I love my children."

 

"Sure, we can talk." Missy said, placing Glint on her back.

"But, that's my problem; I'm not good with commitment or the little goodies that come with it." Stephan confessed. "But, I love Dashie, and I want her to be in my life. When I fell into Equestria, she was the first one I met. She helped me get used to my second life. It's as if me and her were meant for each other."

"Well, if you're not good with commitment, then you have to be sure that you will be in the future, it's clear that she doesn't want to be in a dead-end relationship, so maybe you should try and take her mind off of the idea, and just focus on having a good time right now, heck, after over 20 years of marriage, I can safely tell you that it's difficult, but if you're not fighting for your relationship to work, it's not worth it."

Moon thought about it for a moment, knowing Glint had to be there and shrugged. She then led Missy upstairs to where the guest bedroom was, and took a seat on the bed. "So!" She clapped her hooves lightly and looked over to her. "Lets begin on our friendship status, shall we..?"

"I don't follow Moon, what about our friendship status? I really don't see the need in discussing it further." Missy said, levitating Glint off of her and putting her in the cot. "Thins happen and we move on, besides, I'm not even mad at you so I don't get why you keep bringing it up." Missy unintentionally stomped her hoof on the ground.

Stephan sighed. Fire was right. Dash wouldn't want their relationship to stay in the same place.

"But, believe me, if there's anypony I'd want to marry, it'd be Dash. She's helped me through so much when I first dropped in here, and she kept my secret of being human. I'd marry her... someday. Just not now. I'm not ready for it."

"Missy, don't lie to me. If we really are friends, then tell me now, truthfully." Moon said a little serious, and looked straight in front of her. "I don't think you can recover that fast from just anything... After all, you know I did the mistake of seducing Fire over which was wrong.. And actually I should say.. But.. I'm sorry for doing that.."

"Well, there we go, that's a good first step, being open to the concept, now you just have to reassure her that you aren't just going to leave her hanging, now, I surprised Missy with my proposal. Do you want to hear about that night? It was possibly one of the worst nights we'd ever had." Fire said, laughing.

 

"I know you're sorry, I truly do, but I just can't forgive you. The idea of you having that baby just makes me angry at it, then I realise it's a baby and I start hating myself, then it just keeps going full circle and I just get angrier." Missy said, slightly yelling and legs slightly shaking.

Moon nodded and sighed. "So I guess, that means there's nothing we can do about it huh..? After so much that we've spent together, and now because of one thing you're cutting me off... Maybe I should just get an abortion, because you know I don't want your life miserable.."

"Moon, I don't want you to do that, that would be wrong so let me just deal with my emotions my way, okay?" Missy said, walking over to Glint and immediately changing expression. "Hello there, little one." Missy levitated her out of the cot and held her, just staring into her lovely purple eyes.
