Stephan lowered his head and turned to Missy.

"Go. Leave this dead-end town behind. I'm staying." Stephan said, shutting is eyes and averting his gaze from the alicorn. "You don't have to suffer any longer. Me, I'll suffer as long as it takes for Ponyville to regain itself. This is my hometown, and I'll see to that it is normal again."

"The elements can go into hiding, when the time comes, they'll find new bearers, but for now." Missy said. "For now, let's just try and move on with our lives, achieve our dreams, the world might not fully recover from what has happened, but I sure as hell am not letting it affect my future." The link between the elements had already been broken, they would not respond to these friends.

Stephan took out his element of loyalty and clutched it. A tear then came from his eye.

"Some call me a hero, some call me a freak, but to me, it doesn't matter." Stephan said slowly. "What does matter, however, are my friends. I stood by them through thick and thin, and I'm not about to let that go... that, is why I am loyalty."

 After Moon had settled Sirius back down to sleep, the girl got up and walked outside. She came over to the two ponies, then bent down to Zeta's body and sat down, gently petting him. "Zeta... I know you've been through a lot in this time, but take the time to hear me. You're my favorite pony i've ever known in this world. Even if you knew when your life was thrown away, nothing could bring you back. I understand well, and I hate to see you go.. But anyways, how are you doing..? Did you meet Palm Breeze and your son?" She said with a smile, wiping away a few tears.

 

Then she nodded, giving a kiss on his cheek and stood up, looking to the other two ponies that were there. "Hypey misses you guys, but he's become much happier now thanks to all of you. Don't think of him as a coward, and please don't say he's selfish.. Because, to be honest... What he did was quite right from the things that has happened to him. If you want, can I tell you both the story of his life?"

"He told me what happened to him, and he is selfish, I'm sorry but that's just how I feel right now." Missy walked away from the two, possibly knowing that after this, they would most likely never see each other again. It broke Missy's heart but she just couldn't keep on living in constant danger. So when she got back, with much protest from Fire and Starburst, she left Ponyville with Glint and went to Canterlot.

Stephan looked back up at Moon, angry at everything that's happened.

"There's nothing left to tell, Moon. Zeta killed himself over a mare, just like he said he would." He said to her. "Zeta was suppose to be the big, tough brute of all of us. But, he went and killed himself on Hearth's Warming. I told him I'd try to be enthusiastic this holiday... but he ruined it for me by doing this to himself."

"She's really leaving this time. I don't know what to tell her, I guess this is how things are meant to be." Fire said. "We can't go after her either, we don't want to upset Glint any more than this is going to."

 

As Missy was passing by with Glint wrapped in a warm blanket, she looked to Stephan.

"I just want to thank you, Stephan, and I hope that you and Rainbow Dash have a good future." Missy said, then giving Moon a long kiss. "This might be the last time I see you, and if it is, I just want to tell you... that I love you, I do..." Missy turned and began the long journey to Canterlot.

"That's him on the outside, Stephan. Inside, Zeta is one of the most sensitive ponies you could ever find.." She said, giving a sigh while watching Missy leave. "He has three levels.. The first two had snapped in half, bent, twisted, and practically snapped again. The third, finally did it. He was done, there wasn't anything, not even friends that could make his life happy anymore."

 

Moon paused for a bit, then looked down as her smile faded. "I couldn't even make him happy, and I was his closest..."

After Zeta's death, the word spread out when Celestia and Luna had discovered what happened. He was taken back to the Castle, where he was buried in the middle of the Canterlot royal garden, where his body lay forever.

 

Meanwhile..

 

Moon looked to Missy, then gave her back a long kiss and smiled, She looked at the two of them before giving a wave, watching as her love went.

Once there wasn't a sight of her anymore, she looked up to Fire a bit worried. "Does that mean, you two are.... You know.."

Fire looked to Moon and walked back to the house, he spent the first few months depressed, even starting to drink again, eventually he died of liver disease when he was 45. On a happier note, Starburst and Caramel followed Zeta's last wishes and stayed together until Starburst died when he was 80.

 

Missy brought up Glint in Canterlot, with occasional visits from Twilight, she had almost everything she ever needed. Almost. She died from a heart attack at the age of 90.

 

(There, semi-concluded. Now just one last thing.)

A few years after Zeta's death, Stephan fell into a deep depression. He didn't find any sort of motivation to continue adventuring anymore. The only thing he had left after the events was Rainbow Dash. Soon, he proposed to her and she replied with an energetic "YES!" When the two got married, Stephan discovered the potion that Missy gave him years ago. When he finally gave it to Dash, it restored her flying abilities once more.

All of Stephan's wishes were finally true. Eventually, Ponyville returned to it's normal state, and Stephan was happy with Rainbow Dash. As he grew older, every once in awhile, he'd look out the window and remind himself of the old days. But, he'd tell himself that it was a chapter in his life that he concluded. He was married, living in Ponyville, and he was happy, despite all of his friends gone.

This was the next chapter in his life... and he was going to write it well.

After the whole incident, Moon left to be on her own for now. She stayed in Grand's house because she had no money, and gave birth in the house all on her own. Moon continued to raise both her daughter and her son until they were both fully grown. Afterwards, she lived on her life alone, going on until dying of old age in bed at the age of 93.

 

Sirius lived on, and at the age of 16 she met somepony. They had a life together in Cloudsdale, giving birth to four children. The two ponies stayed together until she had gone by stroke hours after turning 126. By then her husband had died, so she lived alone until then.

 

Moon's son Sempron who was a unicorn, continued life growing up until he moved out of the house by 20. He went on to go through 3 marriages, having two kids with each pony until him and his last wife died in an accident at the age of 54.

A small scruffy pegasus filly jumped down into a small ditch.

"Sandy. Don't keep me waiting, you know how much I hate it when you do that." He called, just then, a small sand colored earth pony jumped down with him.

"You know, I'm going as fast as I can, and mum isn't gonna be happy about us being here, Sky." Sandy said.

"Oh, relax, you worry too much." Sky replied.

Cloud was going through the Everfree Forest at a frightening speed. He was gifted with incredible agility and speed, just like his Grandfather. He came across a small ditch in the middle of the Forest. Down there were two colts about his age.

"You dudes okay down there??" He yelled down to them.

"Yes, we're just fine." Sandy replied. "What are you doing here anyway?"
"Yeah, what are you doing here?" Sky shot up to Cloud. "Now that I really look at you, you remind me of a friend of my great grandfather, grandad always said his name was......what was it?" Sky turned to Sandy.

"Stephan, I think." Sandy replied.

Three ponies walked around. Two were pegasi, one was a unicorn. The small runt, or the grey unicorn with grey hair and a green outline questioned about this. "Guys, I don't think this is a good, idea.."

 

But the girl pegasus, who was a very light purple and had white hair looked back and giggled. "Electron, you need to stop thinking for once you know? I fear that maybe you might think too much and die~"

 

The one up front just giggled. He was a red pony with blue eyes and blue mane, who's name was Antares. He was more of the leader of the three, and made most of the decisions. "Give Electron a break Auria, you know he has autism. Anyways, I think we're getting nearer, too bad Switch was sick for this.."

 

Soon, Antares, Auria, and Electron had all arrived to the small ditch where they saw three ponies. The one up front stepped in, giving a wave. "Hi! So it looks like there was more that got this?"

Sky turned to the other ponies.

"So, it wasn't just me that felt that. This morning, I had a feeling, go to the everfree forest, specifically this spot. But why?" Sky asked.

"Well, this is said to be where the legendary elements of harmony are located." Sandy replied.
"Oh please, that's just an old pony's tail." Sky responded, Sandy made annoyed sounds.

"Heheh, yup!" Cloud did a little flip in the air and landed back almost flawlessly. "I'm Stormcloud! Just call me cloud for short. I'm the fastest Earth Pony in Equestria, right next to my great-grandfather, Stephan Micheals. Or Blasted Nova, as others sometimes called him." He said, obviously showing off. "I'm trying to find these Elements of Harmony. Have you seen them?"

Antares stepped up and looked to Cloud, giving a smile but shook his head. "You know that's an urban myth, right? But I hate to admit, we're looking for them too. Something drew us to this area with my older sister and younger brother. One more could of come, but he's sick with the pony pox." 

 

Auria was surprised that Antares missed such a thing, and stepped in. "Wait.. Grandfather Stephan? But, we're his grandchildren too, since our mother was Sirius. Do you know her, by any chance?"

"You do realise there's no such thing as pony pox, right?" Sandy said to her. "It's just a fake thing that people use to get off school. Which I have personally never done."

"The elements of harmony... the six elements of friendship." Sky said. "I've heard it all before from my egghead brother."
"Hey, I'm not an egghead, I'm well-read." Sandy said.

Cloud shook his head.

"It's anything but a legend." He smirked. "It is written that over a century ago, my great grandfather and his best friends all wielded the elements; Honesty, Kindness, Generosity, Laughter, Loyalty, and finally Magic. I'll prove this "urban legend" to be nothing but facts." Cloud then looked down at the colts in the ditch. "Besides, what're you doing down there?"

"Well...." Sandy cleared his throat. "It is said, that when the five are present at the doorway, a spark will cause the sixth to be revealed. We just need to get in this door. It's magic-locked." Sky rolled his eyes.

"Egghead." He muttered.
"HEY! I heard that." Sandy said.

Auria gave a giggle and hopped down, in with Antares too. Electron was hesitant at first, but he came in with a little thud and got back up. S-so, what now..? Do we just, wait here..?"

 

"Wait..." Antares said, looking down at the doorway. "Auria, what do you think?"

 

"Well, I think that Cloud should come in as well. Maybe then something might happen."

Cloud and smirked and jumped down into the ditch next to the two colts.

"Well, it might not be that hard. I'll just take a start, and my speed will bash it down!" Cloud backed up and ran into the door, hoping he'd bash it down... but instead bashed his head instead. "Ow... well, I'm stumped. Anypony got any bright ideas?"

Just then, the door below them began to glow.

"Uh oh." Sandy said, just then the door opened and made them fall into a large cavern.

"Come on you two!" Sky yelled, diving down after them.

 

I ever tell you about the time that me and a pineapple banged, it was the worst night of my life, spent a month picking pines out of my... uh.... you know what I mean.

It was then when Electron, the little runt of a pony spoke up. "I-I, might have an idea..." Then he walked to the door, looking at it before touching it a bit. All of a sudden it lit up, as it opened up beneath them as they began to fall.

 

Both Antares and Auria caught themselves by wings, while the red pony grabbed Electron. Auria swooped down to pick up Cloud, who had fallen as well. "Gotcha!"
