Zeta quickly heard what was going on and looked up from the couch, noticing that Grand had come down to join in. "The two ladies were just talking about babies and such, not too much otherwise... Say Grand, you said you wanted to be a mother sometime right?"

Fire was sleeping alright, but it wasn't a peaceful sleep, he was beginning to have nightmares again. Nightmares about Starburst and how Missy was saying that he'd moved on.

Grand nodded to missy. "Yes, I would love a cup, thank you" she said with a smile. "And yes zeta, I would loveto gave a little foal of my own, I just don't know if I'm ready to settle down yet. I have other things to focus on right now" she said quietly, with a small smile

"Of course not, Grand, feel free to join in, i'm just about to make tea or something, anypony want anything?" Missy asked, getting up quite slowly.

Zeta shook his head to the offer, but Moon gave a nod to Missy before sliding off the couch and landed softly on the floor. "Do you have any grape juice? Tea isn't my thing, but if you have some of that then it would be much appreciated."

 

Afterward, he continued to chat to Grand. "Other things to focus on? I'd wonder what that would be, considering you're always doing more then one thing. Honestly, you really just need to cut everything off and slowly start to calm yourself. Even as of now being, 29 I believe, you're still such an energetic pony but there's always a limit to everything except numbers. Now you can on occasion do some excessive things, but still.."

"Um, sorry, i don't think I do." Missy said with a sort-of smile before entering the kitchen, she wondered how in Equestria she was going to make tea without magic, she couldn't pick up the kettle for the water, she couldn't pick up a cup for putting it in, but she tried and eventually came back into the other room with a few burn marks, not big ones but little ones on her hooves and ear. Also, tea. She sat them down on a table.

(Don't ask how that happened.)

Grand smiled. "You see, my sister was infected for a very long time, and I've heard that she has been restored to her usual self. Reuniting with her and taking care of her is my top priority right now. I also plan on moving back to ponyville, and helping rebuild it. Settling down can come after that" she said willfully. "I'm quite a busy pony, but I feel it's what I must do before anything else"

Reuniting with her and taking care of her is my top priority right now. I also plan on moving back to ponyville, and helping rebuild it. Settling down can come after that" she said willfully. "Just promise me that after all that has been said and done, that you'll settle down with your sister and maybe get a special somepony afterwards. I just want you to be safe, instead of going around and doing stuff that may possibly injure you for life."

He laid his head back down, taking a deep breath as he watched Moon climb back on the top of the couch.

Missy sat down in the same spot she was in before and started drinking, her ear was sore but she tried to ignore it, then without any kind of warning, she flopped to the side and fell asleep.

 

-Meanwhile-

 

Princess Celestia was in the throne room speaking to Princess Luna.

"Tia, what are we going to do about the Changelings, if we focus our efforts on rebuilding, then we leave ourselves open to attack and we might start a panic, but we must rebuild or the morale of the citizens will deteriorate."

"It's better to have living citzens than dead ones, prepare the city for attack as soon as possible." Celestia responded.

Grand took the cup of tea happily from missy. "Do you need help with the bur- oh, I suppose there's doctors and things now isn't there? I don't need to be the healer anymore" she said, returning back to her seat. "This new life will take some getting used to" she said with a sigh, taking a sip of tea

"Yes indeed it will be." Zeta replied, taking another deep breath and decided to get up. He gently picked up Sirius and laid her down on the couch while struggling to get up, and then walked over to her to whisper.

"Grand, I need to talk to you outside now. It's about me and you only, and I feel this may be the last chance to."

Grand nodded and placed her teacup delicately on the table before walking outside with zeta. "What is it you want to talk about? And what do you mean by our last chance? You aren't leaving, are you?' She asked once they were a safe distance from the house. "Why is this your last chance to speak to me?"

Missy instantly woke up, remembering she had tea in her hooves.
"Thank Celestia for that, well, i guess i already have burns, but i'd rather not get any more." Missy said, drinking a bit of the tea, she had time to think now that Grand and Zeta were away talking and the other two were asleep.

 

Missy was sitting in the library, looking up at a book, wondering how she could get it, there was a small step-ladder that she pushed over, but it wasn't tall enough. Twilight was away for a while and she was bored. It had been 3 years since Twilight had taken her in as her own daughter.

Stephan felt as if he got enough sleep. He noticed that Grand was out of the bed. He checked the time and it seemed considerably late, so he went downstairs to see what was up. He then saw the others just chatting away. "Don't mind if I join in on your convo." Stephan said in a still-tired tone of voice.

No sleep, no rest for this night, knowing that the city was under an eminent attack from the Changelings; at any time soon now, they could attack and with the number of the Canterlotian Guards were spread thin and the walls protecting the city itself were destroyed in the conflict of the outbreak. Ink left Twilight in a hurry -- seeing with her own eyes, that Ink was closing himself from perhaps anypony that he met, she left as well and went to the castle. 

Ink dashed across the streets and met up with the nearest guard that he could find, "Where is your CO?" he asked, panting cause of the running, "I need to talk to your CO..."

Grand returned to the living room, tiredly, and took up her tea and began sipping it again. "Did I miss anything if importance?" She asked, swirling her tea in her cup. She looked slightly distracted as she smiled at the group. "Sorry to leave so suddenly during our conversation, now where were we?'

Zeta walked back in as well, shutting the door quietly behind him and laid back down on the couch. Before that, he picked up the asleep filly and laid her on top of him again before looking around at the newly gathered crowd that was here. "My my, it looks like we're all back here, excluding some ponies and including others."

Missy remembered Twilight using her magic to levitate things, so she decided to try it. She had no idea where to start though.

So she tried for hours to levitate the book down but to no avail. When Twilight arrived back, she was still trying.

"Umm....what are you doing?" Twilight asked, Missy turned to her.

"I'm trying to get a book, but.....I can't reach it." Missy looked down at the floor.

The guard simply nodded in acknowledgement, he took him to the Canterlot barracks where Ink met their current CO, "Sir." Ink bowed his head down with respect in the chain of command. he did not look at the CO's face directly but he heard his voice and recognized it, "Oh, don't give me that, Ink... I may be a Captain but you're a friend." he said.

Ink raised his head up and looked at the CO with a friendly smile, "Well, well... brother and sister all together at Canterlot after the outbreak and in the brink of an attack from the Changelings." it was revealed to be Shining Armor, the brother of Twilight Sparkle. 

"If you put it that way, one reunion is enough after one hell of a ride with death." Shining Armor replied to Ink and gave him a noogie, "What are you doing here?"

Ink looked around the room with dozen of racks holding the standard issue Royal Guard polearm, Ink curved down his left brow and asked, "Do you have a full map?"

Upon the top of the couch, Moon Wave lied on there looking towards the door. She knew who it was once the pony had spoken and she was curious to know why she'd gone out.

"Hey Grand. What did you go outside for? If it's private then I wont bother, but I was just wondering.."

Twilight retrieved the book for Missy and gave it to her.

"Thank You, how do I do that?" Missy asked.

"Well, it's really simple, you just look at something, really look at it, focus on it." Twilight said, Missy turned to the book and looked really hard at it. "Now, just imagine that you can just reach out and connect with it, with your mind." Missy's horn started glowing, then the same aura appeared over the book, it started moving, resisting, but eventually it lifted up off the ground.

"Yay!" Missy yelled, jumping to Twilight and hugging her.

 

Missy stopped dreaming and got up out of the chair.
"I'm going out for a bit, guys. Make yourselves at home." Missy said, walking out the door.

"No no, it's alright. Zeta has a tendency to get up out of nowhere to go talk, to technically he's the one being rude." She gave a pat on his head, making him grunt a little and moved her hoof away.

"Tch, and you say that i'm rude when you're the one who goes around with other Stallions."

Missy was heading to the barracks, Canterlot was in a state of warning, so who she was going to see, would probably be there.
Missy walked into the barracks, the guards were about to stop her, when they recognised who she was. She noticed him.

"Uncle Shining Armor!" Missy yelled, running towards him and hugging him.

Grand looked at zeta at his comment. "Well that was rather brash" she said a little stunned. " I'm going to assume that's a no on the snacks then?" She said before grabbing her cup and taking it to the sink to wash it. Once she sat back down she smiled at the group. She watched the filly sleep peacefully,
