Stephan got an angry expression on his face.

" I guess I'm the only one who can't have love." Stephan got up and walked out of the house slamming the door behind him. Light sighed and followed him outside. He soon caught up with Stephan in a nearby forest.

"What was that all about, dude?" He asked.

"Go away, Light. I want to be left alone." He said through gritted teeth.

Starburst was unsure of how to react to that. The doodles in her notebook where....of him.
"So....you.....?" Starburst managed to say.

 

Fire walked over to Missy who was sitting on the ground. Feeling the air on her face, it had never felt so good.

"What were you talking about?" Fire asked.

"Well, personal things, it's a secret." Missy replied.

Caramel smiled and nodded as she ran to him and hugged him tightly. "You know you didnt have to yell it out with Stephan and Light right there" She said with a giggle as she hugged him tighter. "Well, whatever. I'm sure he can figure it out on his own" She said happily

"I'm sorry about basically yelling it from the roof-tops, I would have collapsed from nervousness otherwise." Starburst hugged her back, it was almost like a dream, he didn't really want it to end, so he savored the moment.

 

Missy couldn't help but feel joyful, the prospect of Starburst finding love filled her with glee. So she began smiling.

Light put his hoof on Stephan's shoulder. "C'mon, man. Come back to the house."

Stephan stopped in his tracks and looked Light in the eyes. "No, Light. I won't go back to the house. I don't want to see any of them right now. I just want to be left alone, because that's who I am. I'm destined to be alone for the rest of my life, Light. Can't you understand that, or is your mind too full of science and stuff in for you to understand?"

Light was shocked at this. Why was he treating his best friend like this. "You know what? I will leave you alone. You can be alone for as long as you want." He turned back to the house. "Come back when you decide to quit being a jerk." He said, as he flew back to the house, leaving Stephan in the forest.

Caramel snuggled into him. "So... now what?" She asked with a smile. "I guess maybe we should let Grand know when she wakes up, and the theres your parents..." She said as she tapped her chin. "Im not sure. I guess it doesnt matter right now though" She said as she nuzzled him

"I'm not really sure what happens now either. I don't think Grand would be too pleased though. You know how protective she is of you." Starburst said. "All I really want to think about is you." (soppy shit!) "Um......i'm not sure about the romantic talk, let's just go inside."

Caramel smiled. "sure thing! ummm, I guess I should ask you why your mane is all wet" She said as she shook her hooves. "Grand is sleeping anyways, I doubt she's gonna wake up anytime soon" She said, gesturing upstairs. "She wont mind that much, I think you might be a little too paranoid" She giggled

Starburst gave a small laugh, "I had to be cleaned of radiation, according to my mum, that cleans 90% of radioactive materials." Starburst walked into the house. "This place seems different somehow, yet familiar. It's weird. Anyhow, you really don't think Grand will mind?"

Stephan  got even more pissed off at Light. "If you say I can be alone for as long as I want, so be it." Stephan turned around and kept walking through the forest. He began making his way to Canterlot castle, where he would find the mirror to Earth and return home.

"Well, im sure she'll set some rules and things like that, but she wont prevent it. Thoug hopefully she doesnt go full big sister on me" She said with an eye roll. "and your parents, are they gonna be okay with it?" She asked, hoping for the answer she wanted to hear

"I wasn't going to actually tell you, I was just going to admire from afar, then once you found someone I could move on knowing that you were happy." Starburst said. "It was my mum who told me to chase my feelings and talk to you. I wasn't sure how you'd react, so...."

Caramel laughed. "Your almost as oblivious as my sister" She said with a smile. "You think you wouldve got it when were out practicing with that gun

 

Grand shuffled around and began to wake up to see Zeta next to her. even though she had only slept for a little while she felt much better

Grand shuffled around and began to wake up to see Zeta next to her. even though she had only slept for a little while she felt much better

Zeta woke up, feeling as Grand moved around a little. He stretched out and opened his eyes to meet her face to face and smiled. "Why hello my darling. You didn't sleep all that long, but if it's good enough then it's good enough. So how are you feeling after your nap?"

Stephan ran to Canterlot Castle and walked up to Princess Celestia, who was on her throne.

"Princess Celestia, I ask permission to use the mirror held in the castle to return to my home on Earth." He requested. "I need to get away from all of this for a little while."

Grand yawned. "Much better. Enough to get through the rest of the day that is" She said, her voice finally back to its normal warm tone. Suddenly she heard her sister giggling like an idiot. "Now what do you suppose is going on down there?" She said as she tried to listen closer

Starburst paused and thought for a moment.

"Yeah, I'm a bit of an idiot." Starburst said, laughing. "I think I hear Grand waking up, I think you should tell her, it doesn't seem right for me to tell her something like that."

Grand yawned. "Much better. Enough to get through the rest of the day that is" She said, her voice finally back to its normal warm tone. Suddenly she heard her sister giggling like an idiot. "Now what do you suppose is going on down there?" She said as she tried to listen closer

"Maybe she's interacting with one of the ponies." He said to her, trying to get a good hear on what they were saying. "It sounds like she's talking to Starburst, almost if they're joking around."

This time Zeta spoke in a whisper so they wouldn't be interrupted, then started to giggle a bit. "I think she's fine now, so why don't we do a little bit of something~?"

Caramel nodded. "Alright, I'll go see her." Sh said as she began making her way upstairs. At the same time, Grand was making her way down the stairs, too concerned with her sister to really listen to Zeta. They ran into eachother halfway there. 

"What are you doing caramel? You giggling like crazy" Grand asked

Caramel decided to just blurt it out. "Starburst and I are in love" She said, not really thinking about it.

Grand looked at her for a few seconds with a confused look on her face. "Love? Youve known eachother for maybe a week!"

Caramel rolled her eyes. "Yeah, I know. But its true"

Grand looked around caramel at Starburst for a few seconds before returning to look at Caramel. "I really cant prevent you, but if I hear anything about innapropriate behaviour, I will be intervening" She said sternly as she walked past Caramel and right to Starburst. She said quietly so no one else could hear her. "If you break my sisters heart, you wont want to know what happens" She said before returning back to her room.

Starburst stood there, staring into space, a horrified expression and flat ears. Now he'd done it. Grand was definitely mad at him.

"Um, I've got to....um....run, but it's been nice talking to you, nice......um, yeah." Starburst ran out of the door and into the sky, he didn't care what direction. Only away from there.

Without any answer from Princess Celestia, Stephan made his way to the end of the castle. He tried to sink everything in now, because he knows he might not be coming back again. He opened the door to the end of the long hallway and there stood the mirror.

He took a deep breath. "This is it. Once I pass through this mirror... I'll be home. Home at last..."

Grand huffed around her room. "Young love. Its a shame that Starburst is the irst one she fell for, becuase if it doesnt work out... oh what am I saying, Starburst is an excellent young colt, he would never do anything to Caramel... or would he" She mumbled to herself as she paced around her room, only half talking to Zeta

Zeta was a little shocked by Grand, leaving him there to go talk to her sister. But he didn't really care all that much since it was family matter, which was much more important. When she had re-entered, he sat up on the bed and looked at her curiously. "So ur.. How did the conversation go? I heard a little bit of what was going on, but not enough to really hear the outcome."

"Steven!" Celestia yelled. "You cannot go through that mirror. It is not yet opened, and it will not be for another 28 moons, it's only been a week and you gave up your chance to go home. I'm sorry Stephan, but the only way I can get you through there is if I open it manually, but you won't be able to return for 3 months."

 

Missy ran as fast as she possibly could into the house.

"What happened? Why did Starburst.... uh, burst..... out of here?" Missy asked.

Caramel looked at Missy. "I dunno, Grand said something to him and he ran out of here as fast as he could" She said, wondering what her sister had said. "Hey, where did Stephan and Light get off to?"

 

Grand was still pacing. "Those two say theyre in love! After just a few days of knowing eachother!" She said to him. "If Starburst does anything to Caramel.. I cant do anything, that colt is one of the sweetest young stallions I know!" she said, exasperated.
