Stephan understood and nodded. "I'm just going to take to being the guy that makes trade agreements. Traveling should be fun now that there are no more bandits." He said with a sigh of relief. "But, if you need any bits, I could spare some. I mean, it's not like I'm running low or anything, since the leader of Cloudsdale gave me a whooping sack of bits before this whole incident."

"thank you for the offer but I have enough bits to keep me going for awhile. I'll have to talk to Fire after this, just to see what there is to do" She said as she took another sip of coffee. "I hope you dont get caught up in any more problems, Ive had enough of bandits for a very long time"

Fire took off his glasses, he needed glasses for reading, shut up he's old.

"Well, that's everything, we're preapred for winter." Fire said.

"Good, does that mean I can go....or is there something else you needed." Twilight asked.

"No, you can go." Fire said. "I have to stay here, I've got other things to work on." Fire said, he turned around and looked at a board.

"Should I rebuild this....." Fire put his hoof to a building. "Yes, I'll order the builders to start on that tomorrow.

 

Starburst looked at the picture.

"Great, while we're learning that we can put an entire family to shame too." Starburst laughed.

"Forget that. I've had enough of EVERYTHING for a very long time." Stephan slightly moaned. "If I could just go someplace to make trade deals and come back without getting shot, stabbed, slashed at, or knocked out, I'd be the happiest stallion alive." He said, nearly finishing off his coffee. "I just hope you find some work. Slaving away in that hospital must've been hellish."

"It wouldnt have been that awful if I was allowed to sleep or eat every once in awhile without being berated about it" She said grumpily. "Oh, and if they didnt have my sister basically held hostage. I suppose it doesnt matter now, because really if you think about it, It never happened" She said with a smile

"Yeah... none of it... ever... happened..." Stephan zoned out and went into a flashback. Some of his events back from the alternate timeline seemed to have stayed in Stephan's memory. He remembered the gunshots and bullets going through his body, going painful and fast. He grunted a little bit and raised his head back up. "Sorry. Zoned out for a minute." He finished his coffee and threw it into the wastebasket. "It might've not happened, but I just wish I could forget."

Grand shuddered. "Yes, I know what you mean. "She said as she rubbed her neck. "I cna still feel that... monster grabbing me. It certainly wasnt a good experience" She said as she threw her cup away and put on her coat. The snow was starting to fall more often and heavier lately.

Starburst wanted nothing more than to just spend time with Caramel, just being in her presence made him feel happy.

 

Missy looked off into nothingness as she remembered what happened iin the alternate time-line. Bandits surrounding her, doing horrible things to her, beating her, having sex with her. Missy slowly just lay on the ground and put her hooves over her face and started crying. Twilight entered the house at that moment looking for Missy.

"Missy? Are you alright?" Twilight asked. 

Missy didn't respond, she just kept on crying.

Stephan threw on his jacket and looked outside.

"Yup. Looks like that time of year is just around the corner." He said with a small sigh. He loved snow, but he hated just being cold in general. He walked towards the door and held it open for Grand. "Anything else you wanna do, Grandy?" He asked.

Grand rolled her eyes. "all of you are going to be calling me that now arent you" She said with a small laugh. "I suppose we go see Fire, unless you had something else in mind" She said as she walked into the freshly fallen snow

 

Caramel took his goofy expression as a yes. "Alright, lets bake a pie then!" Suddenly she noticed Missy falling to the floor in tears. "Missy, are you alright?" She asked before putting the cookbook down

"Nothing in mind at the moment. But, maybe we could meet up later tonight for a drink or something?" He asked nervously. "I've actually never been inside of a bar before, mostly because most of them are still torn down. But, I've never really had a full taste of an alcohalic beverage. I find that embarrassing, since I'm 30 years old and I still haven't had one yet."

Zeta was not really anywhere to be found, still somewhat in hiding from the rest of the group. He was in an alleyway laying down, still a little bummed but was happy that nothing like this ever really happened now. The books were re-written again, everything was back to normal and things just seemed better.

Well, except for him and Grand.

Even being changed where they never had sex in the end, it was still saddening to remember about it. How Greed took over his body, and caused him to do such a thing. He hated it dearly, and felt nowhere near as good as he was before.

Missy didn't answer, she just fell silent and stared at Twilight.

 

Fire found Grand walking with Stephan, he had designs for something in his hoof.

"I wanted to check with you on something, Grand." Fire said, levitating the blueprint open. "It's for a revamped theatre, I know you loved this place."

Grand looked at the blueprints and smiled. The outline showed the theatre just as it was before, but improved. "Fire, this is amazing! But, arent there other buildings we should be focusing on? Schools or daycares or reirement centers... as much as I would love a new theatre, are you sure this is something you want to focus on?" She asked him with out taking her eyes off the blueprint

 

Caramel looked at Starburst with concern, though she didnt say anything. She wasnt sure what to do so she stayed quiet

Starburst walked over to Missy's side and sat down next to her.

"Mum, listen to me, what's troubling you can't hurt you anymore." Starburst said.

Twilight was already out the door, trying to find Fire or Grand or anypony who was Missy's friend.

"Absolutely, if you perform there some time, it'll raise morale." Fire said. "After all, there're no ponies like show-ponies." Fire nodded his head at Grand.

"Fire, come quick, something's wrong with Missy, she's having some sort of mental issues and I don't know how to calm her down." Twilight said worriedly. Fire turned and ran back to the house with Twilight.

Fire entered, seeing MIssy crumpled up on the ground. "Missy, we're here for you, I know what this is about, just come here." Fire said. Missy looked up at him, began hugging him and started crying again.

Stephan saw Fire run to the house. It made him a little confused as to what was happening. Is there seriously another issue already? He walked with Grand outside and began proceeding to Fire's place.

"He's right, Grand. I wouldn't mind seeing you preform. You show great emotion whether you're acting or not."

Grand started to make her way back to her home. "Yes, I suppose a performance is always something that lifts a ponies spirits... And I havent acted in years, it would certainly be nice to do something that im supposed to do again" She said as she went into the house. She didnt wan to interrupt so she instead stod to the side until she thought it would be a good time to speak

Missy was trying to speak, but she coulddn't get any words out.

"Shhh, everything's okay, nothing can hurt you anymore." Fire said, trying to comfort her.

"They.......they tortured me......" Missy said. "......they.........raped me....." Twilight gasped.

"Yes, I know, I know....but what matters most is that they can't get you anymore." Fire said. "That time-line never even happened."

"But I still remember it, I can still feel them doing all those things to me." Missy shuddered.

Stephan chimed in. "I still remember things from the alternate timeline, too, Missy. I still remember getting shot a thousand times before Twilight changed everything back..." He said, remembering the sounds of assault rifles and the pain of bullets going through his chest. "The point is that it never happened. We just need to try our best to remember that."

Grand looked at him and spoke in a low voice. "Most would prefer murder over rape Stephan" She said quietly, so only Stephan could hear her. Grand looked at Missy. "I dont mean to sound silly, but perhaps... perhaps an outlet might help. Its common for patients diagnosed with post traumatic stress disorder to go through different types of therapys. Art therapy, dance Therapy, music therapy,... Drama therapy. Its just a suggestion" She said quietly

Fire looked at Grand and smiled, then back at Missy.

"That's a great idea, we're starting reconstruction on the theatre here in Ponyville tomorrow, it'll be a great opportunity."

Missy looked over at Grand. "You....really think that'll......help?" 

 

Starburst gestured for Caramel to come back to the kitchen, the grown-ups were discussing grown-up stuff.

"It's awful, I remember dying very vividly, although mine was much more pleasany I would Imagine, you with me, I couldn't think of a better way to die." Starburst said. "Oh, uh.....pass the sugar, will you?"

Grand smiled. "Well, ive never done it myself but Ive certainly heard of it. Royal gaurds who had come back from war would take art classes or similar things and it seemed to help immensely. Im sure its worth a try, the arts have a way of letting out the best and brightest in ponies, that ive seen with my own eyes" She said with a smile. 

 

Caramel smiled and grabbed a cup of sugar, but before she gave it to him she pecked him on the lips and giggled, handing it to him afterwards

Missy wiped the tears from her eyes.

"It's not just knowing that it happened, welll, it didn't happen, but it's the feelings I get when I remember. I feel helpless, in pain." Missy began to stare into nothingness again but was shaken out of it by Fire.

 

Starburst rolled his eyes and laughed, giving her a kiss right back.

"Well, as an only recently retired doctor, I can firmly say you have Post Traumatic Stress disorder, and luckily for you, there are several ponies with the same thing, especialy in times like this. Perhaps meeting with ponies who have had similar experiences might be helpful to you. Of course its completely up to you. If I were to guess, the Theatre should be rebuilt shortly, as it managed to stay together pretty well considering. I'm always here to help though, Ill do some research into different forms of art therapy and we can get started immediately" She said with a smile

 

Caramel laughed. "So what kind of pie should we make? Pumpkin, lemon meringue, apple, chocolate cream, cherry" SHe said, listing off a bunch of pies

Missy began to smile she got up, for the first time in forever, she realised she only had three legs, so it felt strange walking intentionally like that. She walked over to Grand and hugged her.

"I don't tell you this enough, but you're a really good friend, Grand, you're my best friend." Missy said,

 

"All of the above." Starburst joked. "Nahh, let's just go for apple."
