Stephan got up, angry. "No answer? Fine, Fire. I'll just leave you to your fun." Stephan walked out of the house and into the open field. The blizzard seemed to be going back and forth from heavy to light. However, the snow looked pretty and it glistened on the ground. He smirked with joy and began running through the field freely.

"I only have one extra bed if you two are planning to stay here. If you don't mind sharing, then......but I wouldn't want to force you to do anything." Twilight said.

 

Missy amd Fire began to clap.

"I feel uncomfortable, can someone get this stuff off of my face?" Missy asked.

Grand smiled happily as she took a cloth and wiped Missy's face. "There you go, all done." She said a she gathered up all the supplies and brought them back upstairs.

 

Caramel smiled. "What do you think Starburst? I'm fine with it as long as you are" She said with a smile, knowing how embarassed he would get

Stephan eventually came across a steep slope. He darted back to his house, grabbed a snowboard, and ran back to the slope. He jumped to the slope on the board and began going downwards. He let out a "woo-hoo" so loud, you could hear from a mile away.

"Now THIS is what having fun in the Winter is done!" He shouted.

Indeed Starburst felt very embarrassed, it was a tough decision.

"Yeah, sure, I'm fine with that." Starburst said, the embarassment clear in his voice.

 

"Well, I think I'm going to sleep." Missy said, before remembering what happened before. "Actually never mind."

Caramel smiled and kissed him on the cheek. "Dont worry, Im not gonna presure you into anything" She said teasingly before hanging up her coat.

 

Grand looked at her. "Well we have plenty of books or records if you would like. I hope you dont mind, but I'm quite tired, I'm going to go to bed"

"Don't worry, Missy, we'll stay up and I'll make you sleep peacefully if it's the last thing I do." Fire said jokingly.

"Thank you, Grand, you have no idea how grateful I am for your support." Missy smiled.

 

"Oh?" Starburst asked. "Is this some clever plan of yours to get me into bed?"

Grand nodded and waved before crawling into her bed and falling asleep peacefully

 

Caramel giggled. "You dont take me for that kind of mare do you?" She said, batting her eyelashes. "Dont be silly, Im too tired to do anything anyways" she yawned sleepily

After a while, Stephan walked back into the house, laughing his flank off. "Oh my gosh. HELL YES!" He took off his stuff and walked over to the couch. "What have you guys been doing all evening?" He knew that he walked out on something. He just couldn't put his hoof on it.

"Oh no, where are Starburst and Caramel, they should've been back by now." Missy said worriedly, Stephan entered.
"Stephan, have you seen them, I hope they aren't lost in the blizzard."

"Don't worry about them, they will have found shelter." Fire re-assured her.

 

Starburst went back to his usual embarassed self after that.
"So....uh....." Starburst said.

"Don't worry, the bed is down in the basement, so you have your own privacy, don't be too loud though." Twilight said slyly, walking away.

"Gran!" Starburst yelled, getting laughs from Twilight.

Stephan took off his snow goggles. "Not all day, Missy. The last time I saw them was when I was drunk. They seemed to have been heading in the direction of Fluttershy or Twilight's place." He said. He got up and got some coffee. "Now I know I left when something was happening... what was it?" He asked nopony in particular.

"They're big ponies, they'll be safe, don't worry." Fire said.
"I'm a mother, I worry. Deal with it." Missy said. "So, if they're with Twilight, I know they're in good hooves."

"Grand put on a performance, that's pretty much it." Fire answered Steohan.

 

"Why is everypony better at being seductively deceptive than me?" Starburst lightly stomped his hooves.

Zeta walked around for a bit, trying to warm up but instead he got weaker then before. He felt a surge of weakness come through his body instantly and nearly lost balance, but made it to the closet to dry off and lied down on the floor in Grand's room.

Occasionally he gave a cough and sneeze, but did his best not to disturb her. But still wondering, what was going on at the time.

"Oh. Well, shame on me for walking out on her like that." He said pouring some cream into his coffee and taking a sip. "Missy, I'm sure that since you've been spending pretty much all day with Grand, she's managed to lift your spirits at least a little bit?" He asked, pouring her a cup in case she wanted one.

"Well, let's just say that my way of thinking was clouded." Missy said. "I was being selfish and I could've killed myself and my child, I've tried killing myself so many times, it.......it's become a constant part of my life. And Grand always makes me feel better when I'm kind of down."

Grand woke up to see Zeta coughing and sneezing. "Look at you, now you've gone and found yourself a cold" she said, getting up and going into her closet to get a blanket. "You know I have a spare room right?" She said with a smile, giving him the blanket.

 

Caramel smiled and walked downstairs before jumping into bed and snuggling under the covers until only her mane stuck out

Stephan smiled and handed Missy her cup of coffee. "Grand has that little thing about her. She always knows how to brighten up anypony's mood, no matter how down they might be" He said with a smile. "None of us want you to kill yourself, Missy. You're an awesome mare, and we wouldn't be able to live with ourselves if you were gone."

Grand woke up to see Zeta coughing and sneezing. "Look at you, now you've gone and found yourself a cold" she said, getting up and going into her closet to get a blanket. "You know I have a spare room right?" She said with a smile, giving him the blanket.

 

Caramel smiled and walked downstairs before jumping into bed and snuggling under the covers until only her mane stuck out

He sniffed a bit, wrapping himself in the blanket and curled up in a ball. "No, I.. Never knew about it. If you want me to go *sniff* in there, then I can. Since, I, maybe.. My mind is messy right now, I cant think..."

So Zeta lay there, sneezing again and shivered. Now he thought getting a cold wasn't worth anything, since he still had that memory in his mind.

"That's the thing, if I died. I wouldn't just be giving up my life, I would lose a group of pretty awesome friends, too." Missy said. "Lucky I have friends like you who can pull me out of the fountain when I do stupid things,"

 

Starburst got into the bed hesitantly. He kissed Caramel.

"It's a shame you're too tired, there are many things we could do." Starburst said.

Caramel turned around. "What did you have in mind?" She asked as she stuck her head out of the cupboards

 

Grand sighed. "Looks like your gonna need some medicine. I have some cough syrup in my bathroom I think" she said before grabbing the medicine and giving him some. "What were you doing walking around in that storm anyway?"

Caramel turned around. "What did you have in mind?" She asked as she stuck her head out of the cupboards

 

Grand sighed. "Looks like your gonna need some medicine. I have some cough syrup in my bathroom I think" she said before grabbing the medicine and giving him some. "What were you doing walking around in that storm anyway?"

"I-it's nothing Grand.." He said to her while taking the cough syrup, but there was an easily recognizable lie going on there. Then Zeta coughed a little more, feeling weak and bundled up even more in the blanket. "I just, wanted to go outside for a bit and didn't really care about any proper clothing..."

Stephan nodded. "Yup, you're a lucky mare indeed, Missy." He sat back on the couch and took another sip. "I don't know about you, but I can't wait for this theatre project to begin. With all of this stuff Grand is teaching you about the arts, maybe you'll be an actress in a show with her."

Starburst moved over to Caramel and kissed her passionately,  "Like this, I wouldn't go too far if you didn't want to, of course.....it's up to you."

 

Missy blushed at the idea and tried to hide it. "I don't know about that, I'm not that good."
"Come on, you might be some day." Fire said.

Grand sighed. "Well I'll help you get better." She said feeling his forehead. "Yup, you've got a cold. Youre not going outside anytime soon. Do you need to rest? I can show you the guest promo, it's just down the hall" she said, helping him up. " you need plenty if sleep. I can go make you some soup if you would like"

He found the guest room, entering it and looked at the bed that was there. He lied down in it, getting under both blankets and covered up his face a bit. Almost instantly, he started shedding tears from his memory before, and tried to hide it from anypony.
