Grand thought for a moment. "Well, I suppose lieing. I'm not the most honest pony sometimes, but I try my best" she said, shivering a bit. "And, well... Not leaving. It seems silly, but it's something that I just can't imagine dealing with. It's why I understand how angry Caramel is"

 

Caramel snuggled into Starbursts body, sleeping soundly

"Not leaving? What do you mean when you say that?" Zeta questioned, near the fountain now by walking. "Do you mean not leaving you is bad, or leaving you? You made it a little hard to figure out the answer, but it's alright~" Which then he giggled a bit after saying that.

"I can picture it now, Wonderbolts reeling as earth pony is victor in iron pony competition." Dash giggled. "That'd show 'em." Dash cuddled into Stephan. "We'd make a great team, better than the Wonderbolts."

 

Dash hid in a big mound of apples, but what she didn't know was that her tail was still sticking out of it.

"Oh, terribly sorry. I'm quite tired, it must be getting to me. You know about my parents, correct? Well when they left, they left without warning. I woke up one morning and they were gone. It was... Dreadful. Especially explaining it to my 6 year old sister. Just up and leaving is the worst thing I could think of. They didn't even leave a note"

Zeta nodded. "Oh, so leaving without any good reason or without telling you is something? I can see you getting mad if I ever did that to you, so i'll make sure not to do it. Same goes to lying, I really dislike that as well and you know i'd never lie to you, since you're my Grandy and I love you.."

Stephan put his arms around Dash and smiled at her. "I agree, Dash. Those Wonerbolts could never compare to the fastest runner and flyer in Equestria." He smiled and held the mare in his arms.

 

Stephan saw a rainbow tail sticking out of a mound of apples. He cleared some of the apples off of the mound and found Dash inside. He then tapped her on the shoulder. "Dash, are you okay?" He asked her.

Dash tried her best to stay awake, but she couldn't, the warmth was just so welcoming, she closed her eyes and fell asleep, nightmare-free. (Guess why.)

 

Dash looked up at Stephan, she said nothing, only stared into his eyes.

Twilight walked out of Sugarcube Corner and looked around, but then noticed Dash in the apple cart.

"Rainbow, what are you doing?" She looked over at Stephan. "She isn't talking to anyp..." Dash cut her off.

"Stephan......how.....how are you?" Dash asked.

Grand smiled lightly before yawning. "Maybe we should head home, I'm exhausted" She said sleepily, lookng up to see how dark it had gotten. "Im surprised I havent fallen asleep already" She giggled, turning back towards her house. "Lets get going, Its not as safe out here as it was before"

Stephan kissed Rainbow Dash on the head and shut his eyes. He then fell asleep on the chair, with Dash still in his arms.

 

Stephan began to sweat. "I guess I'm doing okay for myself." Stephan said, trying not to make Dash feel concerned about him. "How about you?"

Dash realised she was still in the apple cart, she shot up into the sky and hovered back down in front of Stephan.
"I've been alright, it's been a while since I've seen you, and I just want you to know......that I don't hold anything against you." Dash held out her hoof. "No hard feelings? And we can go back to being racing buddies?"

Grand smiled lightly before yawning. "Maybe we should head home, I'm exhausted" She said sleepily, lookng up to see how dark it had gotten. "Im surprised I havent fallen asleep already" She giggled, turning back towards her house. "Lets get going, Its not as safe out here as it was before"

"Of course!" Zeta followed behind Grand and looked around so nothing was there, then she nudged her butt. "Do you want to talk about part two tomorrow, or maybe in bed? Because that's the life of living in a separate house, getting married, and maybe having some kids to go along with it."

Stephan smiled and shook Rainbow Dash's hoof. "Surely." He said, giving her a friend hug. "I just hope you aren't torn up about this. The last thing I want is for you to be upset over something I did." He said. "Now, there's adventures to be found. I'll see you around, Dash." Stephan turn around and began running off into the distance.

Dash looked on as Stephan dashed away, off somewhere important probably.

"You did a good job today, Rainbow, I'm proud of you." Twilight said.

"Thanks, Twilight." Dash replied and they both walked off to the library.

"Im very tired, you wouldnt mind continuing this chat tomorrow would you?" Grand said, opening the door to her house and hanging up her winter gear before rubbing her eyes and heading to her room. "I promise we can talk all you want to in the morning" She said with a yawn

"Alright then sweetie pie~" He replied and gave a quick kiss. After thinking a bit, Zeta remembered something and followed Grand. "Hey, um.. I know we've done it before, but I just want to be sure. Do you, want to sleep together in your room? I feel a bit safer, knowing you're there."

Grand smiled. "Of course Zeta, you can sleep with me" she said, stretching. She crawled into her bed and pulled the covers right up to her chin, snuggling into her pillow. She yawned sleepily before falling asleep, wrapping the blankets around her. (Gad dammit. Haven't had to do this in awhile)

-The next morning-

 

Dash woke up, even before opening her eyes, she was happy. She eventually opened her eyes, seeing that she was still with Stephan made her feel happier. "Hey, good morning."

 

Starburst opened his eyes and kissed Caramel on the nose, she looked so cute when she was sleeping.

 

Fire Horn woke up with a headache, he opened his eyes to the sight of Missy's comatose body. He sighed and closed his eyes again.

Stephan was still asleep on the chair, but he slowly woke up with a yawn when Dash spoke. Him noticing that he'd been holding her throughout the night made him blush a little. "Heheh... good morning, Dash." He said, smiling down at her. Light was still asleep, though. The amount of whiskey he drank last night must've left him extremely tired.

Zeta slowly awoke next to Grand. His hoof was across her stomach, massaging that general area. It felt good to be with a pony he'd loved for a while, so he just snuggled in until she would wake up. "Man, do I love you.. I want you and I to have a good life, okay?" He whispered and kissed her ear.

Caramel yawned as she blinked her eyes open. "Good morning" she said sleepily, rubbing her eyes. She stretched before cuddling back into Starburst

 

Grand woke up and grumbled a bit before pulling the covers over her head. "I'm not ready to wake up" she said before sitting up and yawning. "Well, it's a lovely morning, no point in wasting it"

Grand woke up and grumbled a bit before pulling the covers over her head. "I'm not ready to wake up" she said before sitting up and yawning. "Well, it's a lovely morning, no point in wasting it"

Zeta just giggled and hugged Grand gently. He gave her a kiss right after and smiled, then helped her out of bed. "Don't forget what we need to talk about too. After me and you make breakfast for everypony, then we can head off and do our own thing, sound good?"

"Good morning to you, Caramel." Starburst put his hooves around her and started kissing her.

 

"I had a good sleep, completely nightmare free." Dash smiled and snuggled in again. "All thanks to you."

 

A doctor came to check on Missy's status, he gasped a little bit.

"What? What's wrong?" Fire asked.

"Nothing. That's the thing." The doctor replied, levitating the oxygen mask off of her, he waited a few cautious seconds, she kept on breathing, and her brain activity was normal.

"What does this mean?" Fire asked, running over to her side.

"It means...... within a few hours, she could wake up." The doctor replied with a smile on his face.

Stephan smiled and got out of the chair, helping Dash up, too.

"Well, I've got a few things to do today." Stephan said. "Firstly, I'm going to go down to the hospital to check on Sirius and Missy. Secondly, I'll need to finish packing for Earth. The portal is only open today, and if I don't leave today, I won't be able to spend the holidays with my family. But, first, before I do any of that." Stephan walked to Light's room and shook him awake. "Light, wake up. Today's the day. We're going home for the holidays today. Get around. We've got work to do before we go." 

Light yawned and stepped out of bed. "Alright... I'll go and freshen up a bit before we go." Light said, entering the restroom to take a shower.

Grand smiled and nodded. "Yes, thats fine, now lets go make some breakfast" She said, hopping out of bed and stretching before fixing up her hair and heading downstairs

 

Caramel giggled and kissed him back. "Your in a good mood today, arent you?" She said with a smile. "So what are we going to do today?"

"I think I'll go check on my mum today, I have to make it a habit." Starburst said. "We should probably get up." But he didn't he just kissed Caramel again.

 

"What? You're leaving today?" Dash asked. "I thought you weren't leaving for a little while."

Grand smiled and nodded. "Yes, thats fine, now lets go make some breakfast" She said, hopping out of bed and stretching before fixing up her hair and heading downstairs

 

Caramel giggled and kissed him back. "Your in a good mood today, arent you?" She said with a smile. "So what are we going to do today?"

Zeta walked with her and yawned, then shook his head and made a funny sound. "So what shall we make for everypony? I feel like pancakes with some French toast, if we have the ingredients. Something nice and fun to eat for the morning you know, something me and you can do~"
