Greta put the phone on the table and walked into her room, where Cara had already fallen asleep. She smiled and climbed into the other side of the bed and pulled the covers up. "Goodnight hon" she said softly, brushing a curly lock out of her face before closing her eyes and falling asleep

Stephan gave a small nod and walked out the door of the complex into the city. You could hear a slight "Screw this city." mumbling in his voice as he walked along the sidewalk. He was trying his best to forget the events of a few days ago, but it was really taking a toll on him. He couldn't wait to get home to Equestria. He'll never want to return home for a long time after this.

Missy put the phone down next to her and looked up at the ceiling, maybe it would be best to move back home, to Texas.

 

"What you thinking there?" Frank asked, Missy sat up and looked tearful.

"I don't want to live in this city anymore, it brought us nothing but misery, which is why, I want to move back to Texas." Missy said.

 

"Go back to Texas? Do I need to remind you of why we left?" Frank asked.

"I know why we left, and I'd be losing Greta as a friend, but I think it's for the best." Missy said, putting her hands on Frank's. Frank put his hand over hers.

"We'll think about it, take the time to think this through, and if you still want to leave after the holidays, then we will, okay?" Frank said, smiling reassuringly.

"Okay, now.... I'm feeling really down, do you wanna....?" Missy asked, trying to look innocent.

"I thought you'd never ask." Frank said.

 

"Come on, cheer up Stephan, when we get back to Equestria, Starburst is still alive. And he's going to be getting married soon." Dash said. "Won't that make you happy?"

Stephan sighed and turned around.

"Maybe. All I want was for my nephew to be alive and happy, both as a pony and as a human. But, I failed. And now, before I go back, I have to go to trial against Stewart's former companion." He said. "Neither of you have to be here for that. You can go home right after we're done with Christmas dinner. The trial is tomorrow."

"I don't understand, why would someone he trust, betray him like that." Dash asked. "I don't understand, it's like what that guy Steel did to Missy, a complete betrayal of trust." Dash grabbed onto Stephan's arm. "I just want to go back home, after all this is done. I want to see my friends."

"I want to stay, but... I've heard everything that's been going on, daddy.." Sirius admitted to Stephan with a sad look on her face. But even so, she tried to smile and went up to hug him. "Whatever you're doing now, i'm sure you'll get out of it. You'll come back with us, to Equestria and we can all live together again..~"

"I'll let you go back home, Dash, if that's really what you want to do." Stephan said, continuing to walk. "I'm sorry for letting you waste Hearth's Warming like this."  Stephan looked down at Sirius. "Daddy probably won't be the same for awhile, Sirius." He said to her, holding back a few tears.

Siri nodded, but smiled wide as she hugged around his leg tighter. They were nearly there, but there was still a short walk to go. "I know daddy won't be the same for a while, but he's still my daddy, right? And that's why when you come back to Equestria with us, we can all take a break from everything, and have a good time! I know daddy loves good times~"

"I don't care what you say, I'm not leaving you until we're all ready to leave." Dash said, giving him a kiss. "I forget, how far away is your parents' house? It's been a little while since I've been there." Dash continued, feeling sad that she couldn't help Stephan get over this.

Stephan tried to smile and picked up Sirius.

"Yeah, Sirius. I'm still your daddy." He said, kissing her cheek and putting her back down. He then looked to Dash. "It should be just right up the road from here." He pointed across the street, where Stephan's parents' white brick house was.

Sirius noticed the same house again, immediately breaking out into a skip to get there faster. She turned around smiling, and waved to the other two people behind her. "C'mon you two! We have to celebrate Christmas as early as possible, so we might as well skip~!"

"I love her and all, but sometimes I think I'm like a mother to her, I prefer to think of myself as a big sister." Dash said. "And do you think we should try and find Missy again?"

 

After they were done, they both fell asleep. (Missy and Frank.)

Soon enough, the trio got to the house, with Phil answering the door for them upon Stephan knocking.

"Son! So good to see you on this fine Christmas Eve. Same with Rose and Siri." Phil said with great cheer. "Well, don't just stand out there! Come in, come in!" Stephan and the gang entered the house, where the smell of dinner filled the air. You could tell that they really went all-out in the decoration department. The Christmas Tree, Streams, everything was there.

"Good Evening Mrs. Michaels, it's a pleasure to be here." Dash said, doing a small lady-like bow (you know what I mean. A courtsy or something.) She entered with Stephan, staying slightly closer to him.

The happy Sirius skipped on in, removing her coat and hung it up onto the hanger that was next to the door. Then she went up to Stephan's mom and dad, giving both of them a hug. "Hiya! I'm so glad to be here right now with my best friend Dashie, and my daddy~ So when does it start~?"

Both Phil and Ann hugged little Sirius back. They assumed that "Dashie" was just a nickname that she gave Dash, considering that she mentioned that she used to be a strong runner.

"Dinner will be ready shortly, dears." Ann said. "Why don't you all go take a seat in the dinning hall while I finish up."

"Sure thing, mom." Stephan began walking into the dinning hall.

Dash walked along with Stephan and sat next to him.

She nudged Sirius and whispered.

"Siri, you can't call me Dashie in front of people, they might question it." Dash said, then turning to Stephan. "You didn't answer me, should we go and see Missy?"

Stephan shrugged.

"She probably doesn't feel like seeing anybody right now, especially after going to her own son's funeral." He said, sitting next to her. "She's probably confined herself in her home with the human Fire Horn." In a few moments, Ann came back to the table with a pan of vegetarian lasagna, along with sweet potatoes and dinner rolls.

"Well, I think we should, even if she doesn't know me in this world, I watched her grow up, so I mean, there is that connection I have to her." Dash said, looking at the food that was put down, it looked strange, it was like it was made of meat, but Stephan said they didn't, so...

"Don't worry. It's still vegetarian food. The meat that's meant to be in it is replaced with other things." Stephan said, taking his and her plates and putting a piece of vegetarian lasagna on each one. "Try it. I promise you that there's no meat whatsoever." Stephan said, beginning to eat.

"Alright." Dash said, picking up the fork and hesitantly taking a bit and putting it in her mouth. "Mm, that's really good." She put the fork down and looked to Stephan. "I'll come with you to the trial tomorrow. I'm sure Sirius wants to come too, she wants to see daddy, put away a bad man."

Stephan smiled at Dash.

"If that's really what you want to do, I'll let you come." Stephan said.

"Trial? Is it for that guy that calls himself 'Archer?' " Phil asked. "I hope that man gets put away for life. He murdered a teenage boy. No man can go off free for that."

Stephan tried to hold back tears for Stewart as he continued eating. As he ate, the element of loyalty seemed to have fell out of his pocket. He heard the sound of it and his eyes widened. "Oh no..." He thought to himself.

Dash ate some more food.

"We do, and it's terrible, I feel as if I knew him, you know what I......mean." Dash looked down and saw the element of loyalty sitting on the ground, she bent down and picked it up, then bringing it up and putting out her hand to give it to Stephan.

Stephan reached out his head to take it back. He looked down on it to see that the element was glowing off a red light.

"What do you have there, hon?" Ann asked Stephan. 

"Ummm, nothing..." Stephan replied, frantically putting the element behind his back. The next thing he knew, he was levitating out of his chair.

Dash began to levitate too.

"Stephan! What's going on? Something's going on, the element, why is it doing th....." Before she knew it, a rainbow colored tail was appearing and pony ears and even wings. She looked to Stephan, same was happening to him, except without the wings, she landed after the transformation finished. She stayed silent and stared at his parents.
