"Stephan. I don't think we should be seen outside like this." Dash said. "I mean, it's not exactly normal for a persoon to have a tail, at least from what I know."

"No, it's no problem at all" she said with a smile before standing up. "I'll see you in the morning then" she said before walking down the. Hall into her bedroom. She closed the door quietly and looked at the sleeping Cara. She stood there for a minute before crawling into her bed, pulling up the covers to her chin. "Good night Cara" she whispered before closing her eyes and falling asleep

"You're right, Dash..." Stephan thought for a moment and an idea came into his head. "Hold on one moment." Stephan jumped into a nearby bush and grabbed his tail. He then stuffed it into the back of his pants and came back out. "There. Out of sight, out of mind!"  He said. Though, the truth was that it was kind of painful to have it stuck in there like that.

"Yeah, that's not a solution, and my wings are getting cold from this snow, we'd better get back quickly." Dash said. "Before my wings freeze and fall off."

 

Missy lay down on the couch, slightly uncomfortable but, still kind of warm. She closed her eyes, but didn't sleep.

At just that time, Sirius who had her big fat coat on, jumped up onto Rainbow Dash and covered up the wings with it. She clamped on the back of her and went ahead like that. "Sirius will keep your wings warm, because that's what best friends like me and you do!"

"Sure thing, Dash. We'll get going. If anyone ask, we'll just say your wings are an angel prop." The group made their way back to the apartment complex without being asked any questions along the way. Stephan unlocked the apartment door and held it open for the girls.

"Thanks, Stephan." Dash said before entering the apartment. "Wow, your parents are some understanding people, I didn't think they'd react so.... well, to their son being a pony." Dash put Sirius down. "Now, go to bed, we're leaving tomorrow afternoon."

 

Missy couldn't help but wonder, why he did it. On her way out of the funeral, she put her hand on Cara's shoulder.

"Don't worry, everything'll be fine." Missy said before walking away with her head on Frank's shoulder.

"Aww... But, I don't wanna go to bed! I wanna be with my Dashie and have some fun with you!" She said a little pouty and took off her coat. Then, she began walking back to her room. "But since you said so, i'll do what you say. After all, I do think of you as... My older sister~" Siri winked to Dash and walked away.

"Alright, I think we should get to bed. It's Christmas tomorrow, I'm sure the others will have had the pageant by now, I can't believe I missed it, but I spent my time with you and Sirius, so it wasn't wasted." Dash said, going into Stephan's bedroom and sitting down on the bed.

Stephan sighed and laid next to Dash.

"I'm sorry, Dash, but I honestly think you utterly wasted your holiday by coming here with me." Stephan said. "You could've been back in Equestria, spending time with the others. Instead, you had to spend your holiday hiding yourself from everyone else and worry about your boyfriend getting a bullet through his head."

"Well, it was my choice, I didn't want to spend 30 moons away from my boyfriend who I had just started dating the day before... I do admit that it hasn't been the most fun I've ever had in my life. But I did spend some time with you, if only for a little while, it was still fun for me, also, me and Sirius spent some time together."

Stephan smiled and kissed Rainbow Dash passionately.

"I think we should just spend next year in Equestria, though." He said with a small laugh. "But, I did get you something to make up for being gone for so much of the time." Stephan reached into his pocket and pulled out a little box. Inside it was a jeweled necklace, with a magenta ruby in the center. "This cost me ever cent I had. But, for you, it was worth it."

Dash looked at the necklace, it was beautiful, unlike anything she'd ever seen before, even better than most of the gems Rarity found.

"This is amazing Stephan, I'm sorry I don't have anything to give to you." Dash said. "And I think that's a pretty good plan, next year we stay in Equestria." Suddenly, the wings and tail and ears disappeared. "Well, that's that."

Stephan smiled at Dash. He could tell she was actually being honest with him. She actually enjoyed the time she spent with him on Earth.

"I guess we should get to bed. The sooner we get to sleep, the sooner we can go home." Stephan got under the covers and switched off the lamp light.

Dash fell asleep cuddling into Stephan.

 

-Next Morning-

 

Missy woke up, feeling slightly sore, must be her unusual mode of sleep.

"Ugh, my back is killing me, man I feel old." Missy said.

 

Dash was still asleep at this time, she had a smile on her face, she was happy.

Sirius woke up and stretched out, kicking the covers off her bed and exhaled. Then she opened up her eyes, springing up and ran over to Stephan's and Dash's room. "Daddy, Dashie! Today is Christmas, Christmas I tell you! So what are we gonna do guys huh huh huh~?"

Greta woke up and stretched, noticing Cara was still sleeping. She quietly left the bedroom and smiled. She was determined to make this Christmas no different than any other. And with that, she went into the kitchen to begin making Christmas breakfast. " good morning Missy, merry Christmas" she said with a happy smile

Stephan was started away by Sirius. He woke up to see her jumping around for joy.

"Well, hon, this morning, I'm going to give you your gift. It's sitting under the tree in the living room. Go there and open it." Stpehan got out of bed and walked with his daughter to the living room.

Missy attempted a weak smile back at her.

"Yeah, Merry Christmas, to you too." Missy replied, rubbing her eyes. "What can I do on Christmas day now?"

 

"We're going home. This place is dangerous, not a place for little fillies like you." Dash said. "We should leave as soon as possible in my opinion."

Siri jumped for joy as she saw the tree in the living room, then saw the present. She grabbed it and showed it to Stephan first. "Is this it daddy? Can you help me open it please, because I want you to do it with me~!" She giggled a bit and then looked to Rainbow Dash. "This place is dangerous? But how come? I thought it was fine."

Dash got up and went to the living room. She thought of telling Sirius what had happened, but she was too young to know.

"Nothing Sirius, this world is alright, we just need to be careful, we're not familiar with this place, that's what I mean by dangeorus." Dash grinned. "Go on and open it."

Sirius nodded, but looked to the present and thought for a moment. She set it on the floor and sat down, then urged the two to sit down with her. "Because I love presents, I want you two to open it with me! C'mon, lets all rip it open on three okay? And Dashie, daddy, please do it for me, because I think you're both awesome..~"

Stephan nodded and opened up the wrapping paper with Sirius. It reminded him of opening up presents on Christmas morning with his parents when he was her age.

"Alright, Siri, you're gift is inside of this box." He said, pointing to the white box under the paper. "Go ahead. Open it."

Greta smiled. "Well, I always start with a big Christmas breakfast! What are you feeling, eggs Benedict or hashbrown casserole?" She asked, turning the tree lights on before pulling out some eggs.

 

Cara opened her eyes but didn't move. She wanted to delay seeing anyone for as long as possible, but she knew her sister would want her to celebrate Christmas. She felt bad for being so out of it, but she didn't move regardless

Missy sat up and looked around at Greta.

"I don't feel like doing much of anything right now, so just....." Missy sighed. "I'll just have anything really."

 

Dash sat down next to Sirius.

"Go on then, open it." Dash said. "I wonder what's inside, probably something from the human world."
