Starburst kissed her on the cheek and nuzzled her back.

"Anyway, we should start thinking about where it's going to be." Starburst said. "Either in the theatre, because that's the only place I can think of that's even slightly grand." Starburst laughed at the little joke he made. "Or the place you suggested."

Stephan looked to Grand, he adverted herself entirely from his beaten presence. He could tell that just the mere sight of the stallion was taring here up internally.

"I think I saw him proceed down the eastern hallway. You'll find him if you just walk along there."

"Alright, I'll be right back" she said softly, turning around to go find the doctor. After a bit of searching she found him and stepped directly into his oath. "Alright, what's his condition. I'm in mood to be humoured, tell me now or face the consequences" she said, looking directly into his eyes with a piercing glare

 

Caramel smiled, but it faded a bit. "Do you think Grands gonna be okay?" She asked, looking at him worriedly

"Oh, Miss Finale, so nice to see you back here." The Doctor said. "Well, one of the stallion's ribs has been dislocated, and well as one of his hind legs." The Doctor explained, holding up a clipboard to Grand. "The rib is digging into his lungs, causing him to have breathing problems. If we move the rib back in place, he should have no more problems up there. If we move the legs back in place, he'll be able to walk again."

"I do, this isn't going to phaze her, she's not the type to just break into pieces." Starburst said. "And she's been through worse."

 

Fire went back to the house and saw Missy, having tea.

"Hello, may I join you?" Fire asked.

"Sure, go ahead." Missy replied.

 

Dash had nothing to do, no flying meant that she wasn't able to do what she loved, no, she should get her friends round to Twilight's and they could spend the day together.

Grand took the clipboard and read over it. "Don't bother with the ma'am nonsense doctor. What's the mortality rate for this procedure?" She asked, her voice never wavering from its serious tone. "And how long will it take to recover?" She said, giving him the clipboard back. She hosted this hospital but she wouldn't leave until she got her answers

"Well, after the rib is fixed, his breathing should return to normal almost immediately." The Doctor told Grand, not trying to look intimidated by the mare. "But, once the leg is fixed, he'll probably go a a week without walking properly. He'll need a bit of support."

"Fine. I just hope your competent enough to perform the surgery" she said, giving him one last look before turning around and walking back into Stephans room. She tried to keep herself looking at Stephan but she had to look away occasionally. "Your going to be fine, it seems to be a simple procedure. We're just lucky your ribs never punctured your lungs"

 

Caramel nodded. "Yeah, I guess your right."

"Guess I'm right? I know I'm right, sweetie." Starburst said, turning her around and kissing her on the lips. "So, what next? What's on this big wedding plan of yours?" Starburst was smiling quite widely."

 

(I got nothing else. Nothing at all.)

"I guess I am pretty lucky. I've been having a tremendous amount of it as of late, actually." Stephan said. "Wait, Grand, are you preforming my surgery? Is that why you wanted to find my doctor, to figure out what needs to be done to me?" He asked her.

"... No Stephan, I'm not performing your surgery.i just wanted to know the technicalities of your condition" she said, sitting down in the chair. "I'm sorry Stephan. It's my fault this happened to you, I should have never..," she said, looking at her hooves. "I'm just so sorry"

 

Caramel smiled and nuzzled him. "I guess we need to pick out a dress. For everyone I mean. And tuxes"

"Don't blame yourself, Grand. Just know that I'll be okay." Stephan said, showing a tone of assurance in his voice. "Zeta just went out of control. It wasn't something that you could control. In fact, when I get out of here, I'm probably gonna bail him out of prison anyways."

"Well, I'm sure my dad already has one, I don't though, I think you, Grand and Missy should go look into a dress though, go and see Rarity, we might be able to get her to help, at a cost of course, stuff like this isn't cheap." Starburst said. "I'm just glad we have my gran."

"Prison, if course" grand said, her voice sounding defeated. "If I hadn't told him I needed time he wouldn't have flown off the handle, everything would still be okay, you wouldn't be in this dreaded building and Zeta wouldn't be in handcuffs" she said, getting overwhelmed.

"Grand, everypony needs time to themselves." Stephan said, turning to her. "You've got the entire theatre organization under your command right now. That's a big duty. Zeta just kind of lost it. Guess it's my bad for setting him off so badly. I mean, did you WANT to be with him at the time?"

Zeta was walking down the halls of the infamous Canterlot prison, held underground beneath the castle. It was basically a deep pit, with one pillar through the middle and all the cells were integrated into the walls. It stretched quite far, as you could hear the yelling, crying, moaning of other ponies. Most were bandits, but a new and different one would be added in.

 

One bandit saw Zeta walking down and decided to comment on him. "Oh hey tough guy, I remember you. You and your shitty friends, how do you like it now being down here?"

 

He just shrugged off, walking with the two guards that had him chained up. Since there were so many cells, there wasn't any use for cell mates, so each individual got a bunk for himself. There was also a little toilet, which basically was a toilet bowl with a hole that was drilled out that let a tube down so it emptied out into the giant ravine, you could call it. Eventually, the bloodshot, dreary eyed man was locked up in his cell with an orange shirt to represent he was one of them.

The main guard closed his cell and gave Zeta a cold stare.
"And to think that you served for the Equestrian Army at one point. That's hard to believe." The guard said, locking Zeta's cell door. "Hope you like this cell. You're gonna have it for ten years, or at least until somepony bails you out." The guard began to walk away from the cell.

"It, wasn't even my fault, it was never my fault.." He said quietly, then turned and faced the wall. Eventually Zeta curled up in a corner, thinking back on his life. "I don't want to be here, but.. I don't want to be outside where everypony can come to me.. I've caused too much trouble, so, I.. I guess this is my best bet..."

Grand sighed. "It doesn't matter now, does it? Where's he being held? There's gotta be a way to get him out. Even if we have to... Diagnose him with some sort of psychosis. He would be in a mental ward, but he wouldn't be among common criminals" she said, looking at him. "But right now, your health is first priority"

"Zeta is being held in Canterlot Prison. If you're planning to break him out, it's probably a lost cause. That place is the most heavily guarded prison in the land." The Doctors finally came in with their operation tools and such.

"I'm sorry, miss Finale, but you have to leave. The operation is about to start."

Grand sighed, but before she left she leaned in to Stephan's ear. "If we can escape hell, we can escape some measly prison" she said before leaving. "If you boys so much as miss a stitch you'll have to face me. Good luck" she said casually, walking out of the room with a new determination on he face. If it was her fault he was in there, it was up to her to get him out

Zeta was slumped in the far corner where only a dim light outside his cell was the only lighting there. Nothing much else, besides a mattress (( yes no bed frame )), toilet, and metal bars. The concrete floor is where he decided to take a rest for now, maybe it would get his mind off everything while he was at it.

The Doctors began going to work on Stephan's body. The rib was really beginning to dig into the lungs, but if they acted now, it wouldn't become fatal. This surgery would likely be done within Hearth's Warming's end tonight, that is if they are careful enough.

"We've got plenty of time to plan all of this, so there's no rush to get everything done." Starburst said. "I'm just glad you said yes."

 

"So, I heard some kind of panic. What happened?" Missy asked.

"It was Zeta, he attacked and he almost killed Stephan, now I think he's in Canterlot Prison." Fire replied, sighing.

"Oh, that's not good. Grand is gonna flip." Missy said. "Had any time to think about our predicament?"

"I'm going to convince Moon to go and get checked, just in case." Fire said. "And if she is, then I might be having another child."

The doctors worked on the surgery for several hours, putting Stephan's ribs and his hind leg back into place. They knocked Stephan unconscious with a gas for the operation. At the time, Stephan was lost inside his inner thoughts. All he could think about was that this could probably be the last time he falls asleep. If the doctors were to screw up, then that would pretty much be that for the stallion.
