Was it, really that bad..? It's not your fault, really... It was an accident, but.. I guess we can't change it.. Just leave her alone for now, it's useless going after her.."

(They were in a different room. You would have only seen missy run out crying)

 

Grand was shocked. What could have caused such an outburst from Missy? She took Glint as Stephan went after her.

 

Caramel nodded. "Say what your gonna say, I want to spend as little time talking to you as possible"

 

Jackhammer nodded. "When your mother and I left... We never thought we would be gone for more than a weekend. But we got caught up in some bad business and... We ended up having to stay. When the outbreak happened, the first thing your mother and I thought about were you two. We went back to Ponyville as soon as we could, but by then it was overrun. We split up to find some clues of where you had went but... Your mother never returned. I've been looking for you girls ever since Caramel, I swear"

Missy stopped a small distance away from the house, just shy of the everfree forest. She just couldn't stop crying.

 

"I shouldn't have told her, this is all my fault." Fire said. "If I had never been drunk that night, I wouldn't have had sex with you." Fire said.

"This mistake, could potentially cost me my relationship with Missy."

 

Starburst stood by and let the two of them talk.

"Why wouldn't you tell us you were leaving?" She said angrily

"We... Caramel please, we went through a rough patch. You mother and I got involved in some bad stuff, but we stopped as soon as we realized what we had gotten ourselves into, but by then it was too late"

"How do I know your telling the truth?"

"I wouldn't show my face if I wasn't here for complete forgiveness. I'm sorry Caramel, I was irresponsible, I understand how you would never want to see me again, but it was you girls that kept me going this last decade"

Moon walked over and gave Fire a pat on the back, then hugged him. "It's not your fault you did this Fire... It, it was mine.. Because I knew you were drunk, I knew that you could of been seduced easily, and I took too much advantage of it. It was my fault I ever let you do this with me, but, it's happened.."

 

She then let go and stepped back a bit. "Let me explain it to her, you know i'd be better since it's me who is responsible."

Stephan began making his way to Missy. The wheelchair was a massive handicap for the stallion. This was turning out to be the worst Hearth's Warming he's ever experienced. He had to make things right. If not him, then who? When Stephan finally got to Missy, he approached her slowly.

"Missy...?" He said quietly.

"Don't come near me......just leave me here to my thoughts....." Missy said softly. "I need to figure out what I'm doing with my life."

 

"I don't think that's a good idea." Fire said, walking out and seeing Grand. "Is Glint alright? I guess I should explain about Missy, you guys should know too."

Stephan slowly approached the alicorn. Probably not the smartest move, but he wanted to know what was going on.

"Missy, please tell me what happened. I want to help you through your problem. It's the very least I could do for you." Stephan said, putting a hoof on the alicorn's back.

Grand cradled Glint closely, only looking up when Fire talked to her. "Hmm? Oh, yes, what in equestria happened? I don't think I've ever seen Missy so worked up"

 

Caramel looked at her father for a few long seconds. "You're going to have to do more than that to earn my forgiveness, let alone Grands."

 

Jackhammer simply nodded. "Of course dear, I expected nothing less"

"DON'T TOUCH ME!" Missy yelled as she pushed Stephan back a small bit, she turned around, her eyes glowing a pure white. "Just don't touch me, I don't want to be hurt anymore."

 

"I think it's best if I go and get Grand and bring her here, I doubt she'd want you back in her house." Starburst said as he walked away.

 

"Moon is pregnant." Fire said. "And the child is mine."

Moon just sighed and listened to him walk out the door, talking to Grand. She laid back down in bed and turned over, but continued to hear the conversation going on outside. "I'm such an idiot.. Nopony is going to like me, not even Grand.. Or my best friend, Missy.."

 

Meanwhile at the prison, Zeta's dinner was slid under the little gap that was made under the cell bars. It consisted of some lettuce, a cup of water, and a little rice. He took it silently and ate it at his corner, then set the tray and cup and pushed it back out to the entrance for the guard to take it. 

Grand... Grand, how are you..? Are you doing good? Look, i'm sorry I can't give you any more now, since i'm, here... But please, you're a beautiful pony, and I know you can do without me..

Grand looked at Fire, shocked. "You.... And Moons... Oh no" she said, looking back down at Glint. "That's.... How is that even possible? You would never..."

 

Caramel nodded at Starburst before turning back. "You've missed a lot while you were gone, and you chose to arrive at probably the worst possible time. I'm getting married, and you'd better be prepared to do a lot of making up for lost time if you want an invitation, and don't even think I would let you walk me down the aisle"

 

Jackhammer simply nodded, though he was hurt at how much he had missed. "Married huh? Well... Congratulations" he said with a genuine but saddened, smile

"Well, that was relatively fast." The guard asked, taking the tray. "So, how's the new cell working out for you, ex-soldier?" He asked Zeta.

Stephan recognized the eyes. He's only seen a pony do this when they had the element of magic. But, now Missy doesn't even have the element on her, and yet she's pulling it off. Stephan began backing away. "Missy, c'mon... let's just sort this out..." He said, his vocie a bit shaky.

Zeta just replied in his before manner, with the hint of depression and sadness going along with it. "The new cell is just like any other cell... Cold, dark, and had me written all over it.. It's not my fault I came in here, but.. It is my fault. I brought myself up to this point, and I attacked my friend.. Why..? I'm supposed to be somepony who is known across Equestria for saving the world, yet.. I'm just a lonely pony, who doesn't even deserve any food.."

Missy's eyes stopped glowing and she reached out a hoof.

"Please.....please don't go.....please...." Missy whimpered, then her eyes went back to being white and glowing, she closed her eyes and put her head to the ground. "Magic, too much."

 

"I was drunk, and Missy and Moon were doing their usual thing, and Moon obviously thought it was a good idea to include me, so, who was I to refuse two beautfil mares who wanted me?" Fire said.

 

"I'm sure your precious girlfriend Luna will be here to save you soon enough!" A bandit shouted.

"Listen stallion, even though every single pony in here has done some hard shit, they still deserve food. This place may be a smelly, cave-like structure, but we're gonna keep you all fed in here, no matter how big of a scumbag a pony is." The guard declared.

 

Stephan took Missy's hoof. "Don't worry, Missy... I'm here... I want to help you..." He whispered to her.

"Some hard shit... So an ex-general in only a few hours, ruins his girlfriend's life, nearly kill his best friend, and maybe ruin a few more lives around him as well. I think it is more then just a crime, but I can't remember the word for it.." He turned around and walked to the guard talking to him, holding on to the bars. "A pony is known, as a pony who hurts others because he can't learn how to live anymore. So why would there be a point in living, if he can't learn?"

Zeta ignored the bandit who yelled to him that, just grunting as he looked down.

Missy tried to fight away from him but she eventually just gave in and fell into his arms and began crying again.

 

Starburst entered the house.

"Grand, you're gonna want to come down to Sugarcube Corner and see this, it's fairly urgent." Starburst said.

 

"Oh yes, we know you were in with out fair princess." The bandit said mockingly.

"That is enough!" A commanding voice boomed. "I do not appreciate my loyal subjects being trash-talked by the likes of you. In our day, we executed those who disrespected us." The voice was fairly angry at this point, the figure walked into view of Zeta. It was Luna.

Zeta recognized that voice immediately, but he couldn't smile. He was too depressed to, even seeing one of the Princess's that he obeyed with every order, so instead he bowed in front of her. "Princess.. Luna.." Then he looked up. "Why did you come here? If you came for me, you know Celestia doesn't want us to talk.."

The guard was about to speak to Zeta again when he saw Princess Luna enter the room. The guard bowed in her presence.

"Oh my. Your majesty, what can I do for you?" He asked, looking up at her.

 

Stephan held Missy in his arms and stroked her mane.

"It's okay, Missy. You're among a friend." Stephan said. "Just take a deep breath and try to calm down."

"At ease, soldier." Luna said, then turning to Zeta. "My sister has nothing to do with this, as you may recall, I rule this land too, and I shall not let my sister command me anymore." Princess Luna said. "I have a proposition for you, Zeta."

 

"But I can't, he's going to leave me for her, and she's going to have his child and he's probably going to forget about me." Missy said inbetween tears. "I don't want to be alone, don't leave me alone."

"Missy, that's ridiculous. Fire loves you, and only you. I should know. He's my best pal." Stephan looked into Missy's eyes. "I'll admit; Fire screwed up. I don't know how he did it, but he did. But, I can assure you that he'll never leave you for Moon. You and him have known each other for years, and have been in love pretty much since the first time you met."

Zeta sighed and looked to Luna, in the eyes. "If Celestia finds you, it will not be my fault.. But tell me, what is the proposition dear Luna?" He wondered about what it would be, and hoped it was for the best. 

 

Moon was feeling horrible now, almost sick to her stomach if you could ask. She was crying lightly in bed, wondering what was gonna happen. "I-it's, all my fault... I never wanted this, please.. I'm sorry..."

"Oh, I'm not worried about that, in fact, Celestia isn't opposed to this." Luna said. "I will get you out of prison, as it is not the worst crime, and worse have been commited by these ponies already in here."

"Why don't you come a little closer, Luna?" A bandit asked.

"Like him, he raped and murdered a family of 3, one was an adult, two of them were just filly's." Luna said.

 

"I can't believe you, I want to, but I just can't." Missy said.

"You have to Missy, because it's the truth." Stephan took a deep breath before continuing. "Why do you think he went from Manehattan to Canterlot just to see you again nearly a decade ago? Because he loved you enough to make the trek. If he didn't love you enough, why would he risk his life making such a perilous journey?"
