Zeta took the time to think, going around and around before looking back up to Luna once more. He sighed, holding back onto the bars. "So.. You'll get me out of prison.. But, do, I have to do anything? I know you want me to do something in return, since you sisters are like that..."

"Okay, I believe you, but you have to tell me, right now." Missy said. "You won't leave me will you? I just....don't want to be left alone, I hate being alone. I guess now's a good a time as any to tell you about that time. It was when I was living in Canterlot, shortly after the outbreak began. Do you want me to tell you?"

 

"Ah yes, good old catch, you'll be my personal guard, think of it as a form of community service, and I need somepony I can trust." Luna said. "So, shall we go?" Luna asked, signalling the guard to unlock the door.

Zeta sighed once more, looking back up to Luna and shook his head. "Princess Luna.. I... I know i've been a pony you can trust, one out of the seven that carried out missions for you and Celestia, but.. A personal guard? Why would you choose a fool, like me.. To be your personal guard? There are plenty others out there better then me..."

The guard walked up to the door and unlocked it.

"Well, ex, looks like you're free to go." the guard said, walking away. (Hey, I gotta fill the space somehow.)

 

"Of course, Missy. I'm not called loyalty for nothing." He said, smiling at her. "If you really want me to know... I'm all ears."

"Out of all of you, out of each of the seven of you, I could see nothing but darkness within all the others, but with you, you were different, I trusted you more than the others, don't ask me why, I don't know." Luna said. "I felt like I could call for you and you'd be there, you were loyal, no matter what. And that's why you'd be the perfect one for this role."

 

"Well, let's just say, I was lonely, when I was living in Canterlot, constant threat from trotters, life had lost meaning." Missy said. "And one night, I found a gun, in my house, must have been a precaution, every night, I sat alone, in my room, with the gun, I put it to my head, and I just couldn't do it. I wasn't brave enough to end my own suffering."

Zeta nodded, looking a bit sad now. He couldn't hold the straight face anymore, because there was no need to. It just made him depressed even trying, so he stopped and hugged Luna tightly. A smile spread across his face that instant, and a tear rolled down his eye. "T-Thank.. You Luna... Even if K-Vegas was much better then me, heck.. I was the weakest of the seven, you still trust me that much.."

"Hey, it's not all about what people show on the outside, Zeta, it's what's on the inside that counts." Luna said. "Now, get on my back, we're leaving this dismal place and going somewhere a bit more cheerful. Luna flew up to the roof and it opened for her, she flew into the winter sky.

Zeta hugged Luna's back as they flew up into the air, feeling quite happy to be outside again even if it was just for a day. "So, um.. Princess Luna, where are we going? Are you taking me somewhere, or just back to Grand's house? I don't exactly think i'm ready to see them again.."

"We're going to Canterlot Castle, I'm sure my sister will no doubt want a word with you." Princess Luna said. "You are a convicted criminal after all, such matters cannot be taken lightly, as you stated, it was a mistake, you show remorse for your actions. Your cellmates do not."

"Oh my... you were planning to kill yourself?" Stephan hugged Missy. "I can't believe you'd even consider such an action. Missy, I may sound like an overprotective parent right now, but I never want you to ever consider such a thing again. If you were to kill yourself... I don't know what we'd do..."

"But... Wait.. So i'm going to Celestia to convince her that i'm innocent? But if she believes me, then she's going to send me to get my anger treated again, and I don't want that.." He sighed and looked down. They were high off the ground now. "You already tried convincing her once, I doubt we can again..."

"Both of us know that you're not innocent of any crimes, you did try to kill one of your best friends." Luna said. "But this time you won't be dealing with a therapist. This time you'll be dealing with me, I asked Tia and she's fine with it."

 

"I won't, I promise, you. Like I said, it was a dark time for me, and I never want to go back there, so, shall we get going, I've got a husband to apologise to." Missy asked.

Stephan nodded and let go of Missy.

"Of course. Let's get back to him, shall we?" Stephan turned his chair around and began pushing in the direction of Grand's house, where Fire was. Even though he just heard one of the most awful events in a mare's life, he smiled. He could bet that Missy was glad to have it out of her system.

Zeta nodded as they neared the castle. A fear went through his body, thinking if it was a trap or not. But being the two Princess's loyal subject, he knew that could never happen. "Um... Luna, what do you mean dealing with you? Is it bad..? Or, uhm... But, why did you decided to do this..?"

Luna landed at the castle and let Zeta off of her back.

"You'll be spending time with me anyway, so I figured I could help you out. I've been wanting to see you more often anyway." Luna said. "And don't worry about Tia, she can be angry at times, but I doubt she'll do anything to hurt you."

 

Missy got back to the house and found Moon, she was crying, still.

"Moon?" Missy asked. "I'm so sorry for how I acted."

"Oh, well... Alright.. I guess since it's with you, I can't complain. You are Princess Luna, a very smart pony indeed." He hopped off her back and walked along with her into the castle. Up on the throne was of course, Princess Celestia. Zeta walked to the middle of the room before giving a bow.

 

Moon looked up from her position, wiping away her tears before hearing Missy. She got up and walked over, giving her a hug. "Wha, Missy..? Oh, no no, no.. It's okay Missy... I should be the one who's sorry, it's my fault I brought Fire into this.." After hugging though, she smiled. "I will say it again, truthfully.. I am pregnant from your husband, but that doesn't change the fact that he loves you. I couldn't love a man who is already married to you, honey.. Actually since i'm carrying his baby, if you want.. I could get an abortion so nothing would happen.. But that's to your choice."

Stephan entered the house with Missy. While she was apologizing to Moon Wave, he steered his chair towards the staircase. He couldn't get up the stairs on his own, but he needed Fire to come down and face his wife.

"Fire, I have something for you!" He called to him. "Can you come downstairs and get it, I can't exactly get upstairs right now.Stephan.

Stephan attempted to get up the stairs on his own, but fell off of his chair in the process.

Fire heard a bang and ran down to help Stephan back into his chair.

"Are you alright?" Fire asked. "I guess we're all starting to feel our age. We're not young anymore are we?"

 

"I would never dream of doing something like that, so I don't expect you to." Missy said. "What are you going to call it?" Missy asked enthusiatically.

 

"Sister, I'd like you to meet my new personal guard, Zeta. You know him already, and I know you told me it was unadvisable to talk to him, but I had to... he's not just a soldier, he's my friend." Luna took a step forward. "And I see regret within him, which is why I'm going to help him." Celestia nodded.

"I just hope you know what you're doing." Celestia replied. "Remember Luna, your image is important, and if you lose that, then you lose the trust of your subjects."

"I know Tia, come on Zeta, follow me." Luna said.

"Call it..? What do you mean dear..~?" She grinned widely and nuzzled in Missy's chest while hugging her. "You mean name? Well first of all, this pony is still in the conception stage, and they have yet to find out if it's a boy or girl."

 

Zeta obeyed, standing back up again and walked out of the castle with Luna. He smiled, but couldn't help and feel bad at the same time. "So.. Luna, what are we doing..?"

"Stupid chair." Stephan muttered. "Perhaps we are, Fire. Soon, I'm not gonna be at an age where I can adventure anymore. Then I'll be like 'I remember those days...' " He finished his sentence with a small laugh. "Anyways, your wife is here. Me and her talk a little bit, and she wants to talk to you right now. She wants to make up."

"Well, you're here, just in case something happens, like an invasion, your first priority is to protect me." Luna said. "And I'm going to help you get over your issues. That is what friends do, isn't it?"

 

"Good. I thought she was never going to forgive me." Fire said. "I wouldn't be surprised if she left me over this. I did get another mare pregnant after all."

"She won't leave you, Fire. Let's just say that me and her took a trip down memory avenue and reminded her how much she really means to you, as well and how much YOU really mean to HER." Stephan said. He then turned to the stairs. "If you're going back up there, mind helping me up?"

Zeta agreed to Luna, curious now. "Friends do help other friends, but i've never seen you become my mentor before. I will serve under you and protect you forever, my Princess... But, it's just i'm a bit skeptical on that. I know you can help me, but it's funny to know you can."

"Sure, buddy, I'll do that." Fire said, lifting the wheelchair completely and carrying it up the stairs. "Just call when you wanna come down and somepony will help you." Fire went to Missy and Moon.

"Honey, I'm really...." Missy began, but she was cut off by Fire rushing over to her and kissing her, very passionately for about 10 seconds. ".....sorry." Missy could get out, she was starting to feel quite warm. "Ooh, it's hot in here."

 

"Just because we spent a thousand years on the moon, doesn't mean we can' be supportive when we can to our own subjects." Luna said, then clearing her throat. "Sorry, I do sometimes like the way I used to speak."

"It's okay Luna.. So anyways, what are we doing first? Are we going anywhere Princess?" He questioned, looking around a bit at Canterlot and wondered a bit.

 

Moon listened in the distance as she crawled back in bed, smiling. "Missy sure is a charm, even being her female lover..~"
