Stephan put his arm over Moon Wave.

"Looks like you two are having a nice time forgiving each other." Stephan had the strange feeling that these two were about to 'get it on.' "Um, Moon, perhaps we should leave these two alone." Stephan left the room, but was stopped at, you guessed it, THE STAIRS.

"I thought you would've left me, I didn't know what to think." Fire said.

"I could never leave you Fire, you should know that by now." Missy said. "I need to keep my phobia under control, it could badly affect our lives you know."

"I know, and I'll do everything I can to help you." Fire said. "I love you, I really do."
"You don't have to tell me that." Missy said, they then continued to "make love" for a little while.

 

"No, I just thought I'd wander around Canterlot for a little while." Luna said. "Get to know my guard a little better."

Moon didn't reply and listened in awe. She was loving the sounds of the two making sweet love, whether it was kissing or sex, it was still nice to hear. "Ahh.. What a wonderful couple..~"
 

Zeta nodded. "You already know me so well, don't you Luna? I mean I have been serving you and Celestia since I was 23 or so.."

"Moon, I seriously think we shouldn't eavesdrop on their... event. It's quite rude!" Stephan looked down the stairs and took a deep breath. He wanted to get down these stairs without the assistance of a unicorn or alicorn. He began by bouncing the chair. The chair landed on the step in front of him. Although, he still has nine more to go.

"I do know you so well, Hyperion. And it's been a while, you're gonna have to catch me up on what you've been up to in Ponyville, I don't know if you've noticed, but none of us have had free time, especially me and Tia, trying to put Equestria back together after the outbreak."

"Ah, yes... I forgot about that.." Zeta said, deciding to explain to her everything from the year the outbreak started to the very end, going all the way to the land of Zebra's to fufill their mission. He took a break there and smiled. "You gave me an order to come back that time.. I could of never let you down there, don't you think?"

 

Then he continued, telling her about what's been going on in Ponyville. Mainly about how Missy had a baby, Stephan vs him that one time, and how him and Grand are having the toughest time of their lives right now. ".... I, I don't know if i'll ever come back with Grand.. I love her so much, and I don't want to leave her, but she seems quite independant.." He sighed and looked down to the ground.

"She seems a lot like Tia when she was young, struggling to become independent, oh she used to have the funniest temper tantrums." Luna said. "And it's good to hear that life is picking up for all of you, we do all appreciate what you all did for us when you journeyed to that awful place."

"Thank you for the compliment, and.. I didn't know Celestia had temper tantrums to be independent. This time though, it's with me and Grand.. She's the sweetest pony in the world, and she says she loves and cares about me as well. It's just.." Zeta sighed again. "We are, or were... In a relationship. Now i'm just waiting to find out if the relationship is real, or if she was doing it because she wanted to keep me alive.."

Caramel simply stared at her father. "I'm going home. There's a motel down the street, you can stay there" she said coldly, turning to go back home.

 

Grand held Glint in her arms and rocked her back and forth. "Such a sweet little baby" she cooed, keeping Glint close to her. Grand smiled and began singing her a lullaby, quietly so it wouldn't bother anyone else

After a bit, Moon decided to leave the room that Missy and Fire were in, going downstairs and listened to Grand's sweet lullaby. She walked over to her, feeling where she was before realizing Glint was in her arms. "Mmm... Isn't she just an adorable thing..? In some cases, she reminds me of when I had Sirius. I would do pretty much the same thing to her to get her to sleep, and the lullaby would always make her-"

 

Then some small snoring came from the couch. It was Siri, who had fallen asleep from the tune. "... Basically that, heh..~"

Grand had been so focused in Glint she didn't even notice Moon walk up to her, so she jumped a bit when Moon touched her. "Oh, I didn't realize anyone else was listening. I hope I didn't disturb you" she said, looking up.

 

Caramel walked back angrily, until she realized she would have to tell Grand. She was already going through so much already. She sighed, unsure what to do

"It's alright Grand, you didn't disturb me. Besides, I didn't even know you were here with this little girl..~" She said quietly and nuzzled Glint, then gave her a kiss on the forehead. "Oh, also.. You did hear about, me right..? Did anypony tell you about it? To be honest i'm alright with telling you, if you don't know. Just, don't get any hard feelings or anything, it was on accident.."

"No, Fire told me. It seems it was a mutual agreement as a mistake but... What happened happened. And now you'll be having another baby. It seems everyone's having babies now" she said, looking back down at glint. "Well, I suppose a congratulations is in order... Sort of" she said, not really sure how to handle the situation

She nodded and nuzzled Grand. "You should have a baby too! Maybe he or she might grow up the same age as mine, and they could be childhood friends you know? Actually where is Zeta? I kinda wanted to talk to you guys about that, see if you were interested."

 

Moon was nowhere near aware of the situation that was happening, since nopony had told her really.

Grand was quiet for a minute "....prison, he attacked Stephan after I said I needed some time alone" she said, not looking up from Glint. "That's why Stephan was in the wheelchair" she said quietly, the guilt from before washing over her again. "I didn't realize nopony had told you yet"

Moon was shocked at first, but put a hoof on Grand and hugged her. "I never knew he did that... But, Zeta couldn't have done it for fun. Do you think something triggered him to do that? Because i've never heard about him even hurting an innocent little fly, and now this comes.."

"I did. He... Confronted me about the stability of our relationship and I couldn't give him an answer. It's my fault" she said numbly, simply rocking Glint in her arms. "Of I had just told him our relationship was fine everything would still be as it was" she said quietly, staring into space

"Well... Grand, you did the right thing. It wasn't your fault that he was in jail now, maybe Zeta went on his own path to go recover, but.. Stephan came, tried talking him into whatever." She sighed and patted on Grand. "If you said everything was fine, you would of been living a lie. Nopony wants to live a lie, because think.. The longer something goes, the worse outcome you get when they find out it's been like this. You need to take an hour to think in bed, if you are really for him, and if you are.. Then go tell him. There's nothing wrong with that~"

Grand was quiet. "I don't know... Lately it seems like everything has been telling me I wasn't meant to settle down. Maybe I should just stick to what I know . I'm quite happy at the theatre . I do what I love every day. Maybe I just wasn't meant for a family life" she said, looking straight in front of her

Moon nodded, but sighed. "If you think that, then go up to Zeta and confront him. Tell him.. You're not ready to settle down and have a family, or a life, or anything yet. He'll nod and walk away like nothing, and I know that since I pretty much know him from the inside out." She said with a little laugh. "He's the only person, to refuse to ever have sex with me. I'm sure Zeta will understand you when you tell him that."

"Yeah, thanks for leaving me up here, guys!" Stephan yelled to her, getting down the final step and going over to the two mares, huffing and puffing. "You shall never understand how hard that was." He said. "I'm going to write a letter to Zeta in prison. I need some paper and a writing utensil."

"I think it's too soon for you to return to Ponyville, it's better to let things cool down before making any kind of apology." Luna said. "My sister had to wait a thousand years to apologise to me, I'm sure you can wait a day or so."

 

Starburst shook his hoof and left after Caramel.

"What are you going to do? Grand already has enough on her plate without.....him coming back here." Starburst said.

"I understand princess.." He nodded and continued to walk around a bit, looking at the different places. Canterlot had changed ever since, now the buildings that were destroyed were much different, and there has been a lot more royal guards.  "One thousand years, I can't imagine how lonely you must of felt up there. Maybe 300 or so would of been adequate, but that's just too much."

Caramel sighed. "I don't know. If I tell her it will just stress her out more, but if I don't... Well she'll find out anyway. What should I do?" She said, confused

 

"Maybe..." Grand said looking over to Stephan. "I'm sorry Stephan,I didn't notice you were having some trouble" she said numbly. "There's some paper in the living room"

"It was lonely, I spent most of my time plotting how I would get my revenge on her, but then I realised it didn't matter, because I loved her anyway, and I know she was doing the right thing." Luna said.

 

"Just do what you think is best. Grand needs to know about this though, he'll come looking either way." Starburst said.
