Stephan laughed along with Fire. It was nice to have somepony like him as a friend. He knew that he was somepony he could go to and talk about this kind of situation. He understood what he was going through, and it made him feel more secure.

"Yeah, but it's just... Missy, I don't want to lose a good friend like you. And all this baby is doing is preventing it from happening.." She said while looking down, her expression changing to sadness. "I don't wanna, I just wanna have a nice and happy life with everypony.."

"When we look back on our marriage, this was either the most romantic or the worst night ever." Fire laughed. "So, on our 'date' I had arranged, we were late because Missy was late getting ready, then we had to go around town looking for a place, we got splashed by two carriages, almost trampled by a mob of Sapphire Shores fans and by the end of the night, we were in Sugarcube Corner, and I proposed to her."

 

"Well, I'm sorry, but that's just how things are going to be, and I swear to Celestia if you ever talk about aborting that child again....." Missy's eye began to twitch but she couldn't do anything because she was holding Glint.

Stephan smiled.

"I can see why that would probably be the worst night." Stephan said, chuckling a bit. "It must've been pretty awkward to do it on a night like that. I've actually always imagined that being the situation of marriage for me and Dash; we spend the night together, probably get into some trouble, then afterwards, I'd give her the ring."

Moon just nodded a little, depressed now. She laid in bed and pulled the covers over her before tucking in. "Missy, you go on ahead and enjoy Hearth's Warming. I'm not feeling good right now, spend some time with Fire at the least when he's done talking with Stephan, okay?"

 

Zeta looked around a bit. He too was quite depressed, but never showed it as he walked around. He had a saddlebag with him, inside filled with a few things. The first thing he did was go to Sirius, who was sleeping and kissed her forehead. "Moon's child... She could never be happier then she is right now..~"

"It's not the most romantic story in the world, but it's one of the defining points in our relationship." Fire said. "Marriage is a difficult thing, but if you love each other, it'll work." 

 

Missy put Glint in her cot and walked downstairs, then walked out the front door, when she was out she just began shooting magical bolts into the sky, eyes glowing as she did so. Then she  just began hitting the ground with her hooves.

"You're right, Fire. Me and Dash love each other. One day, I'll man up and ask her to marry me. Soon, I'll be too old to be going out and adventuring. Marriage will then be the next chapter in my life." Stephan's ears then perked up. There seemed to be some commotion going on to the North of town. There were also giant bolts of  magic going into the cloudy night sky. "Maybe we should check that out." Stephan said, getting up.

"Good idea." Fire said, then noticing the color of them. "It's green, that's the color of Missy's magic, let's go." Fire started running towards the source of the commotion. "Missy! What's gotten into you?"

"I'm ANGRY!" Missy yelled, throwing a loose brick a fairly large distance. "Just leave me to deal with my problems! OK?!"

Caramel paced in circles in her room still unsure what to do about her father. She still hadn't told Grand yet, and in a town as small as Ponyville it wouldn't be long until they ran into each other

(( Grand, Starburst and Caramel were staring at a window somewhere in the living room, and Grand is back at the house with everypony ))

 

Moon just sighed, hearing what was going on and began crying.

 

Zeta looked around again, seeing everypony else before deciding to sit down next to the others. He got comfy, smiling. "It's going to start soon..~"

"Missy, you need to learn to deal with this." Fire said.
"What do you think I'm doing?!?" Missy yelled. "I AM Dealing with it!!"

Looking around and not seeing anything to destroy she just curled up into a ball and lay there.

Fire walked over to her and sat down next to her.
"Let me tell you, Missy, what we're going to do. We're going to spend the rest of Hearth's Warming, without any hatred of any kind." Fire said. "And you are going to get along with Moon. Is that clear?"

Missy looked up at him.

"Crystal." She snapped.

 

Starburst tapped Caramel on the shoulder, in an attempt to break her out of her trance.

"Hello? I have something I want to ask you." Starburst said.

Stephan simply stood there in silence. He didn't know how to react to this situation. The only thing he could do was walk away slowly and leave Fire and Missy to their business. He walked back into the house and sat next to Zeta and the others.

He let out a heavy sigh.

Zeta looked over to Stephan, seeing that he was depressed in some way so he patted him on the back and smiled. "You look a little rough right now. It's Hearth's Warming, lets go ahead and enjoy everything! Heck look, there's some presents under the tree right now, one or so is for you~"

Stephan looked over to the presents then back to Zeta.

"Sorry, Zeta. Even the joy I get from unwrapping colorful paper and opening boxes for gifts can't overcome what I'm feeling right now." Stephan said. "The only thing I really want is for everypony to be enjoying themselves... but that's not the case right now."

Missy and Fire walked in.

"Alright, it's Hearth's Warming, I just need to suck it up and have fun." Missy smiled.

"Yes, that's a good idea." Fire said.

"I'm sorry about outside, Stephan, I just need somewhere to vent my anger, I'm fine, really, I want everypony to have fun." Missy said. "Anyway, didn't Luna say something about the town hall?"

"She invited me to come if I wanted to, but.. I don't know." Zeta responded, scanning around again. He looked to Missy and Fire, a nice couple but they still had some kinks to work out. Then he turned back to Stephan. "This Hearth's Warming will be fun Stephan, don't you worry.~"

 

Meanwhile, Moon had sucked it up and came downstairs. She looked around, giving a nice smile, but acted sort of shy. "Hello... Is this, just about everypony..?"

"Just about, yes." Missy said, walking over to Moon. "I'm sorry about the way I acted, it's Hearth's Warming, let's just forget about everything, and just focus on having fun, eh?" Missy gave Moon a hug, a sincere hug.

"Looks like everypony is finally getting along, huh?" Fire said to Stephan.

Stephan sighed and looked around. He should be happier than he is. It's the holidays, and technically, he was getting two Christmases this year, but this one was probably going to run smoother.

"Alright, guys, I'll try to be more enthusiastic." Stephan said, forcing a smile to Zeta and Fire. "Let's unwrap a few gifts, then I'll make us some eggnog."

Moon felt the hug and smiled, giving another hug back before kissing Missy on the cheek. "Alright. Together, we'll make this the best Hearth's Warming ever, all of us will make it the best Hearth's Warming ever..~"

 

Zeta gave a heartwarming smile before going over. "I'll hand out the present's to everypony." Then he picked one up, reading it. "Fire, this one is to you from Missy." (( bleh whatever :3 )) And handed it off to him.

"Sounds good." Fire said, sitting down on a chair and watching as the presents were opened, if only Grand were here with them, this moment would be perfect. He took the gift and opened it, it was a bottle of his favorite whiskey.
"Drink responsibly." Fire muttered. "How else would I drink?" He joked.

 

"Alright, let's go open some gifts." Missy said, putting an arm around Moon.

"We gotta wait for Zeta to pass it around, hopefully he'll give one to us soon." She said, but Moon spoke too soon since Zeta pulled out a couple presents. One was to Stephan, one was to Missy, which was both from each other to each other. "Alright, go ahead and open them up!"

"Ooh, thanks Stephan." Missy said, levitating the little box. It was a small magical charm. "I know what this is, it....uh.... it boosts magical energy." Missy put it on. Her eyes flashed a bright white for a second. "Ooh, it is powerful, quite powerful." Missy was pleased by her gift.

Stephan smiled at the bluish-green wrapping paper. When he opened it up, it wasn't what he expected; a potion. He was a bit perplexed at first, but as soon as he read the potion label, he discovered what it really was.

'Potion of magical potential: Boosts one-self's body functions if drank. 

Possible combination: Alicorn blood, result: Healing potion.'

Stephan's eyes nearly teared up. He then hugged the alicorn tightly. "You have no idea how much this means to me, Missy! Thank you." He said.

"No problem Stephan, I know you needed something like that for Rainbow Dash." Missy said, levitating a small piece of broken glass over to her. "Bring the potion over here, somepony else will have to do it, I can't take my own blood, it just seems really weird." Missy said.

Stephan smiled and gave the potion to Missy. He couldn't believe she was doing this for him. She really was a true friend, whether he realized it or not. He then took the shard of glass and placed it against Missy's arm.
"I'll make this quick and painless, Missy." Stephan made a small cut into Missy's arm, causing it to bleed a little bit.
