"Thank you for being here, Moon, I'm just glad somepony like you was here and I didn't have to spend my last day alone." Missy said. "Glint is away in Manehatten, somepony has to tell her...... when I'm gone."

"I'll do it, because Glint knows me like a second mother." She replied, nuzzling Missy. "And you know that I would always be here for you, no matter what the time is. Was there ever a time I wasn't there for you..~?" Then Moon giggled a bit and sighed. The old days were far behind them now. "How old are you sweetie?"

"I'm 62, I don't know whether I'm going to be alive long enough for Stephan to get here, so I'm going to trust you with this. I'm going to tell you how I made the potion that healed Rainbow Dash." Missy said. "I gave up 30 years of my life to make it, I basically took a part of the magic inside all of us and I turned it into a tangible form, in essence it's what holds us together."

Moon was a bit shocked by this, but gave a nod. "Missy... That's not what holds us together. It's our own friendship, and love that does. I know you may have sacrificed 30 years of your life for Rainbow Dash, which I think is good, but that's a bit overboard there.."

Missy groaned at her not understanding her meaning but decided not to explain.
"Alright, just let me have a little bit of sleep, I'm really tired. Just a little rest alright, then I'll speak to you again, so don't go anywhere alright?" Missy reached out a hoof and tapped her nose. "Boop." Missy laughed a little bit.

Moon giggled as well, holding Missy's hoof and kissed it. "If I could, i'd give you about 5 more years for you to live just so we can spend some time together..~"

 

And after that she kissed her forehead, grabbing a blanket to cover her over with except the face. "Alright, just a little rest. I'll be watching if you stop breathing or if your heart fails."

Missy closed her eyes, a feeling of contentness came over her as she closed her eyes, feeling the consciousness slip away from her, if this was how she died, it would be a fitting end for her, she wouldn't get to say goodbye to Stephan, or Grand, or any of her other friends, but at the very least she wasn't alone, and just a few minutes later, she stopped breathing.

Cloud shook his head at Auria.

"I wouldn't have a little filly carry me. I may be too heavy." He said to her. "Just fly beside me and we'll be quiet about it."

 

"Starburst... I'm a very ashamed stallion... one that's ashamed of himself." Stephan said, not raising his hood while speaking. "I can't believe that over half of my family is dead..."

Auria just gave a nod, silently flying next to Cloud as they watched the conversation from a distance. "I wonder who he's talking to..."

 

Meanwhile, Moon noticed Missy stop breathing. She quickly went over, feeling her heart had stopped and sighed. "Ugh.. This might hurt.." She then pulled a hoof back and gave a good THWACK right on her chest, seeing if it would restart her up. (( being the biggest cock blocker or whatever right now :3 ))

Missy didn't respond, she just lay there, lifeless, there was no saving her.

 

Missy awoke in a cloudy area, she began walking down a road of clouds, towards a group of ponies.

"Is this...?" Missy asked. "Am I dead?"

"I'm sorry to see this happening, but yes, you are." A voice said from behind her. She turned to meet it, it was a face that was very familiar, it was Princess Celestia.

After a bit, Moon just looked at her. She gave a sigh, sitting backwards. "That didn't work... It usually does on our patients.. Oh well, I guess that just means goodbye.."

 

Up where they were, came a pony that was quite identifiable. But he looked much more clean, sophisticated, much younger, but still retained his muscles and brute look. He was in the group with the rest of the ponies, but suddenly jumped out in front of the others.

 

The pony ran to Missy and tackled her with a huge smile on his face. "Missy! Hehe, so you ended up making it here too eh? That makes... Three of us? I've been hanging out with Fire here ever since.~"

"Zeta? I didn't expect to see you here. And Fire, and Celestia... what are you doing here?" Missy asked.

"I'm here, because I care about you, and I want to make sure you move on from the living world." Celestia said. Missy looked over to Zeta, Fire was with him, waving. Missy smiled and looked back to Celestia.

"I think I'm going to be just fine." Missy said, a small tear dropping from her eye, she then began on her way to her friends, they would be together again, forever.
 

Missy's mouth opened as a wisp of green floated out. It was her magic, her essence, her soul.

Moon looked back at Missy's body, seeing the soul that floated out of it. She grabbed it with her two hooves gently, then sighed. "So.. This is your essence..? I wonder if I could hold it for you, maybe just this little bit." Then she opened up her mouth, stuffing it in there quickly and swallowed. "I hope it doesn't come back up... And also, thanks for being a good friend Missy..~" 

 

"You didn't expect to see me here, after knowing how much good we've done?" Zeta replied and gave a giggle, getting back up with her. "Oh, oh! I forgot to show you something, they're in that crowd of ponies! One sec.." He rushed back over, and after a bit he came out with two other ponies. One was a girl, who was light pink with light green hair. She had a hairband in as well. The other one was a boy of nice pure red, having yellow eyes and a black outline in his yellow hair. "This is my wife Palm Breeze, and my son Kingston Zeta."

"I've heard a lot about you two, but what is this place? I know I'm dead, that much is clear. But where are we? We're definitely not in Equestria." Missy began looking around, it looked a little like Cloudsdale, only brighter, and cleaner.

"We're somewhere, outside of Equestria, outside of this universe it seems." Fire said, walking up behind her, Missy turned to meet his eyes. "Fire, I..." But he put his hoof on her muzzle.

"I know, and that doesn't matter now." Fire replied.

 

"Why would you be ashamed, ashamed of what?" Starburst approached him, a little hesitantly.

Stephan took off his hood and gave a sigh.

"I'm ashamed of... how everything turned out." Stephan said, sitting down. "Your mother is passing away, Fire and Zeta are dead, and I have a grandson I don't even know! My life has come to a dead end." He muttered, kicking a few stones. "Or maybe... I'm just stuck with the past."

Starburst stepped a little closer/

"Everything hasn't exactly worked out for me either, for one, I wasn't able to stop my dad from drinking himself to death, my son ran off and left his children under my care, and Missy is my mother, it affects me more than it does you." Starburst said. "But we have to use this to bring ourselves together again, we used to be friends, there's no reason we can't be that again."

Stephan raised his head up to his nephew.

"I see where you're coming from, son." Stephan said, getting up and man hugging him. Stephan has really aged over the past two decades. His mane had grown into a paler shade of blue, his voice was deeper, but still high like it was before, and he was becoming a bit more weak and... round. "Should we go and see your mother? Y'know... to say goodbye?"

Starburst was going to respond but somepony jumped on him from behind, it was Sky Streak.

"Hey, Grandad, who are you talking to?" She asked.

"He's just a friend. Now, what do you two want?" Starburst replied.

"Missy wants us to stay with you, she doesn't want us around when she.....you know...." Sky looked away.

"I understand." Starburst smiled. "I assume you still want to go and see her?" He asked Stephan.

Stephan smiled and nodded.

"I want to go and see her, just so I can be with her when she... passes on." Stephan began setting his sites to the hospital, immediately running towards it.

 

The sight of what just happened left Storm Cloud speechless.

"Grandfather... it was him..." Cloud muttered, watching the stallion leave

"Well, I think we should go and see her anyway." Starburst said, gesturing for them to follow him. Once they had reached the house, he opened the door, there Moon sat with Missy.

"Mum?" Starburst walked slowly over to beside her, her face was lifeless, ears had drooped and she wasn't breathing. "First my dad, now you. Soon, I'm going to lose everypony." He just sat silently with his eyes closed, tears going down his face.

"Grandad? Are you alright?" Sky asked. Starburst said nothing.

Stephan was torn internally. First Zeta, then Fire, and now Missy. Most of his friends were disappearing faster than he could comprehend, and he was suppose to be the fastest there is.

"Three down..." Stephan said, kneeling down next to Missy's deathbed. 

He began to lightly sob.

"Sky Streak, yes I'm fine, but we need to do something about this." Starburst got up, he put a hoof on Moon's shoulder.

"We need to get her body somewhere that can manage something like this." Starburst felt like just breaking into pieces, but he had to keep a strong appearance for his grandchildren. "You two, get out of here."

"But grandad..." Sky protested.

"But nothing, go.....now!!" Starburst snapped at them. Sky was slightly startled by him and just nodded and left. Starburst sighed.

"Rest in peace... Missy Starlight." Stephan said to her, his voice sounding more sad with every word he was able to muster. "You've done so much for me and everypony. It's such a shame you had to die. I never even got to say goodbye..." Stephan lowered his head, a few silent tears coming down his face, and began to walk out the door.

Moon gave a nod, looking to Missy. "Are you... Fit to carry her Starburst? I know you must be devastated right now.."

 

Auria cocked her head to Cloud. "That was Grandpa? Well whatever it is, lets go find him and check out what's happening. C'mon, we gotta go now Cloud!"

Starburst looked to Moon and a tear fell down his cheek

"I'll be fine to carry her, but to where is the better question." Starburst said, he felt like a child again, clinging onto what little he had of his family, he then turned to see Stephan about to leave. "Stephan, please don't go, don't leave me." 

 

Sky was flying beside Sandy when they saw Cloud and Auria.

"Hey, guys." Sky said, sounding sad. "Where are you two headed?"
