*Note: I am currently unsure if another fan fiction similar to this exists or not, if it does I apologize, I have not heard of it and I am not trying to copy.

 

Overview: As each of the mane six find their true destinies, the Elements of Harmony are strengthened and therefore the mane six become alicorns! But a strange curse causes the Elements to disappear and tensions begin to rise between the friends. Twilight has hold the friends together as they journey beyond the borders of Equestria to find the missing Elements.

Twilight's Point of View:

    I looked towards the sky at Rainbow Dash. She was returning from the Wonderblots Academy. Something didn’t seem right about her, there seemed to be something coming out of her head. As she landed it became clear: she had a horn! She was an Alicorn! I shook my head and returned to my house at the library. I had been waiting all day for her return, but I was tired. I would talk to her later. As I laid on my bed, something felt wrong, like a darkness consuming me.

    I woke up to the sound of a storm raging outside my home. I looked outside to see blurred ponies whipping past in the storm. I turned around to see Princess Celestia sitting on my bed. “Twilight Sparkle, something bad is going to happen, you must protect the elements!” She shouted. Just as she finished, she was pulled into the storm. I felt something cool be placed upon my head. I noticed it was my element just in time to see the other five get sucked into the storm. Then I heard a cracking sound as my home was ripped apart by the storm.

    A thud woke me up. It was some dream. I notice my crown was on my head and the other five elements were gone. I disentangled myself from my blanket and sighed. Then I looked outside and saw the blurred ponies from my dream. The ponies slowed to reveal Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity. But the most shocking thing was, they were all Alicorns.

    Celestia’s voice echoed in my head, “You must go beyond the borders of Equestria before it’s too late.” I shot out of my bed and grabbed my saddle bag. “Come on girls, we need to go on an adventure!” I called. I lead the girls through the air, over the everfree forest. I paused as we passed over Ghastly Gorge and sighed. Should I really lead my friends to unknown dangers like this? After a long flight over Apple Loosa, I found myself at the top of Macintosh Hills.

    The horizon was dark since dusk was approaching, but the darkened horizons could hold any dangers. Just as we settled down for the night, something moving caught my eyes. As we crested the hills to investigate, we found ourselves face-to-face with nothingness. As we settled down to sleep, a loud rumbling jolted me out of my exhaustion. I looked up to see dirt and rocks crumbling off the hill top. I franticly tried to wake to others, but fate had only left enough time for me to save myself. As I barely saved myself from the rockslide, my friends realized what was going on, but it was too late.

    I just managed to land on the top of the crumbed hill when sleep had found me. My dreams were dark and confusing that night, but waking up brought me to a more confusing world. Instead of on top of the hill, rocks and dirts pressed down around me. I could feel the tickle of a magical aurora as it shifted the rocks. I forced myself out of the rockpile and examined my surroundings. Fluttershy looked at me, her eyes full of concern. “Twilight?”

    I shook her off, “I’m fine, but where are the others?” I asked while dusting off my mane.

    She stared at me and asked, “What others?” Then, I knew something was very wrong.
