lightning was walking back to the camp when he saw frost walking towards tempests tent,he froze and teleported into a tree and watched him "what the frig are you doing frost." he whispered, then frost when in tempests tent and heard ivy yell, he jumped out of the tree and walked over to the tent, he saw sole in the sky and waved "frost what are you doing in tempest and ivy`s tent?" he asked smiling.

Frost looked at lighting and sole as he smiled "Oh it was nothing I just....left some stuff in here that's all, right Ivy?" he said as he gave Ovy the look of don't say a word about what's going on. and then slide his hurt hoof slowly behind his flank as not to rise supession.

Ivy glanced at the others and smiled. "Yeah." She said. "He was actually just leaving and I woke up when his hoof was a few inches away from me. I guess I just got a little scared," The silver unicorn then shrugged.

 

Tempest may have been asleep, but he still heard what Frost said to Ivy. "He'll regret threatening her." He thought.

As the others left Frost turned to Ivy and playfully nudged her "Thanks for not radding my out back there, it probably wasn't gentlemanly to bardge in like this." he said blushing "However this conversation isn't over, I'm just concerned and want the truth....bye he said as he walked out of the tent.

"are you sure it was nothing frost because it looks like you were trying to take something and hurt your hoof." lightning said suspiciously as he looked at ivy is that what really happened. he thought, then he looked back to frost " if you were going i won't stop you." he said as he went to his tent.

Frost heard lighting as he walked past him, Frost looked over his shoulder "It's nothing...really, I just need sometime to think." he replied as he trotted of onto the tree line. Once he was fairly deep in the forest he sat on a log and began to think. Obviessly Ivy nor Tempest want me to know what they got from that book." he paused for a moment " Duh! There are little passages in every chapter in the First Civilizations language and as far as I know Tempest is one of the few who can read it, but what does it say?" he thought quickly

Rut-Light was a bit of a heavy sleeper but due to his age he was prone to health issues; such as nightmares.  He didn't get them very often but he knew he had them, this one was particularly creepy.  He and the others were traveling down the dark caves, his monocle spewing light like a flashlight, all of a sudden his light went out cold; he tried to re-activate it but it was futile.  They pressed onward but then he heard a screech like that of something aggravated then he saw eye's; large green eyes.  Something jumped at him but he didn't have time to identify what it was, for he awoke quickly with a loud gasp then he started to relax but was still edgy, "Damn dreams...lets hope it's not a sign."

Sole was beginning to get suspicious too, and frost's behavior was only making his suspicions worse. *alright, what's going on? Tempest, ivy and the douchebag know something.* he thought, before landing in front of tempest's tent "hey, I know your both still awake. What's going on? And don't lie, I'll be able to tell." He said calmly.

Tempest dispersed the aura around his saddlebags and put them on. He then trotted outside and noticed Sole. "I honestly have no idea what you're talking about, Sole." The cyan pegesus then shrugged and trotted to the cliff overlooking the caves.

 

Ivy sighed as she laid in the tent. "Soon, our race will no longer be forced into the shadows, made to hide their powers from the world. Everything will change." She thought, as she fell back to sleep.

Frost teleported him self to the library back in canterlot to find some books on the language of the First Civilization, he spent a good hour reading multiple books and trying to remember the markings he saw in the book that was in Tempest's possecion. All he got from it were two words:"Time Travel." He said " I know that they were the inventors of the time travel spells, but it takes a lot of magic to pull it off, and why would he need the spell any way?" Frost asked himself

Sole sighed and walked up beside tempest "wow... your a bad liar. Just tell me already, I know you, ivy and the asshole pirate have a little secret. Mind sharing it?" He asked in a bored tone "and if ya lie to me this time, I'll kick your aura obsessed little ass." He said.

Tempest simply laughed. "You know, I thought you of all ponies would figure it out first, but I guess you really are that dense.If you want to know so badly, then wait until after we're finished with the changelings." He said. The cyan pegesus then trotted away to meditate.

Sole glared at him as he left "I have a hunch... but if it is what I'm thinking, then it'll only lead to sadness and anger." He said quietly, before he decided that he was going to get tempest back later for being an asshole *first he throws me, and then he calls me stupid... oh yeah, he's getting it.* he thought, before flying off.

As Tempest trotted away, he stopped and sighed. "I can't lose sight of my goal." He thought. The cyan pegesus then noticed a nearby cave and trotted inside.

 

Ivy woke up and exited the tent. She sighed as she looked over the camp. "I hope Tempest is ok." She thought.

As Frost returned from his study session in canter lot he noticed Ivy leaving her tent and trotted up to her "Hey Ivy! Look I've been doing some research and I just have a hunch that Tempest wants to preform an old time traveler spell, and since you know more than me I was hoping you could shed some light on my theory." he said

Ivy glanced at Frost sighed. "I wouldn't exactly say that Tempest is going to do the time travel spell. He can't realy use magic." The silver unicorn then sighed.

 

Tempest hide behind a rock as changelings walked down the halls. 'It seems that I found the entrance." He thought. The cyan pegesus then smirked as his aura surrounded him.

Frost sighed "I'm aware that he can't preform it, but be warned if it goes through there is no telling what could be affected here in the present." he said as he trotted off to ready the BASS cannon for its deput in causing cave-ins. "There has to be more to Ivy's story than she is telling, but what?" Frost thought

Ivy thought about what Frost had said, before trotting away. "I might want to stay away from the others for a while." She thought. "They can't discover Tempest's plans to early." The silver unicorn then noticed the cave Tempest went down and entered.

 

Tempest trotted through the caves, killing any changelings he found. "Let's just get this over with, so I can return my race to it's former glory. No long will we be forced to hide our powers." He thought. The cyan pegesus then smiled.

"I might as well get out of here, before Frost sets off the BASS." He thought. The cyan pegesus then noticed Ivy and nodded. "Hey."

 

Ivy noticed Tempest and nodded. "I was wondering where you went off to." She said. "So, are the changelings gone?"

lightning got out of his tent and teleported to town, he bought a couple books, a dozen muffins and six donuts, then he teleported back to the camp, he saw rut light getting out of his tent "hey rut light you want a muffin?" he asked as he waved, then he ate a muffin, he started walking towards rut light.

Frost peeked out of his tent with interest "I want a donut." he said as he walked out of his tent with a large contraption on his back that seemed to extend a meatal sleeve down his back right leg. He fell a few times trying to get out of the tent and get to the donuts.

"here you go frost one donut" he said as he gave frost a donut, he walked to the center of the camp "anyone else want a donut or a muffin." he said as me ate another muffin, then he teleported on to a tree branch "if you want a muffin or a donut come to me." he said as he hung the bag from a branch and took out a book to read.

Tempest exited the cave and gave Ivy the book containing the time travel spell. "I believe that it's time to go to the third phase of our plan." He said.

 

Ivy nodded and got on Tempest's back. She then levitated the book up and opened it to the page with the spell they needed. Her horn started to glow.

Frost could hear sensors on the cannon going crazy."OW!" he yelled as he threw down the headset connected to the base and jerked his head in the direction of the aura. "Thats some strong magi.....oh Celestia no!" he thought as he jumped up and began to run to the source.

The spell went through, before Frost or the others arrived. The only thing that remained was the book, and a charred patch of land. Tempest and Ivy floated through the space time continuum. "We did it. We actually did it." He thought, as he slowly flew. "Are you ok, Ivy.

 

The silver unicorn nodded and smiled. "Yeah. That actualy wasn't to bad." She said.

 

Celestia glanced at Frost. "What happened?" She asked.

Frost stomped his hoof "they used a time traveler spell my guess is to stop the destruction of his ancestors." he replied with hatred in his voice "They could screw up everything from events, leaders, even bloodlines could disappear." he thought to himself
