Fire looked at the doctor has he walked to the door and opened it. And Fire started to chuckle a little bit when she saw the two others in their group on the ceiling. But Fire perked up when he mentioned Science.

"Basic Gravity Field Generation? Wouldn't that need a spinning superconductor producing a powerful gravitomagnetic field in those machines? They, surely, wouldn't be that small?"

Fire blushed a little when she went all out in the science department. She sheepishly smiled.

"My dad was a scientist. And what's your theory Doctor?"

The Doctor shook his head. "No... these machines are far more advanced. They use technology capable of altering the density of matter to generate areas of incredible mass. That creates the false gravity." He clicked a button on his screwdriver and pointed it at the machines. There was a loud crackle and a spark of electricity as they shorted out, causing Crimson and Swordpoint to fall back to the floor of the control room.

 

Swordpoint hit the ground with a thump. "Nng... Curse you, Doctor..." he muttered.

 

The Doctor smiled again and stepped into the room. "Come on, then! We've got work to do!"

crimson looked around the room with a concerned expression as he sat on the ceiling of the room, "woah...okay, I've been in some pretty weird situations before in my time as a pirate...but this is pretty weird..." said crimson, smiling sheepishly as the doctor walked in, "hey doc! swordpoints right, do you don't think you could help us out, do you?" asked crimson. once the doctor DID floor them however, crimson hit the floor with a loud "THUMP!!" crimson groaned as he sat up, "you...did that on purpose...didn't you?" asked crimson as he rubbed his head.

(OoC: Sorry for the delay. I've been busy with my job, working on Zelda Wiki, and doing work for a super secret development project for a partner site of ZW. Time is not on my side lol)

The Doctor smiled again. "Not at all. Come on, then! We have work to do!" He waved Crimson and Swordpoint over.

 

Swordpoint grumbled as he made his way down to the Doctor. He saw Fire Sharp with them and gave her a small smile. "It is good to see that you are well, Fire. I trust they have not harmed you?"

 

The doctor waved his hand. "Of course they didn't. They wanted her alive because they wanted to see me. I must say, this is quite the elaborate plan going on, here. But we'll see if I'm right soon enough."

Fire smiled back Swordpoint,  needing to say one thing to him.

"Even the doctor may be slightly correct, I like believe that they just didn't want to mess with me."

She was trying to pull a joke in a situation that was slightly dire, but she wanted to have a lighter look on things after what she had been through. And some thoughts about them deciding to kill her crossed her mind then, she'd been at gunpoint before. She didn't want to be there again.

The Doctor chuckled. "Well," he said suddenly, "no use standing around. Let's get moving." He led the three out of the room and back to the elevator. He unlocked it with his screwdriver and they stepped inside. As the Doctor entered it, he pressed the button for the top floor.

 

Now, then... who was looking for me? he mused.

Fire walked into the elevator with the Doctor, and the others followed. But something was nagging on her brain, she thought for a second before she realized what it was. 

"Doctor? Do we actually have a plan? Or we just winging it when it comes to it?"

Fire sure hoped that he had a plan, and considering what was happening she hoped he did have something for the Master

"Of course, Fire!" the Doctor said enthusiastically. He smiled as he waited for the elevator to reach the top floor. The same floor where Fire had met the Master.

 

As the doors opened, a chair squeaked. The master turned to face the four travelers. "Hello, again. I'm guessing you've figured it out, Doctor?"

 

The Doctor stepped forward without hesitation. "Of course. You made it too obvious. Maybe they can't get it, but I certainly can. Now, then. Who are you really?"

 

The Master smiled. "You never disappoint, Doctor." He touched a small button on his wristwatch, and he was engulfed in white light. After a moment, it dissipated, revealing Captain Jack Harkness. "Ahhh, much better! How've you been, Doctor?! Long time no see!"

 

"Jack!" the Doctor exclaimed. "I haven't seen you in ages!" He threw his arms around his old friend. "So tell me, why did you set up this elaborate scheme, here?"

 

Jack furrowed his brow. "You disappeared. We couldn't find you anywhere in the universe. It was like you'd gone to an alternate reality or something. We wanted to put together something that would be as out of place as possible to get you to come back."

 

Swordpoint was speechless. He simply stood and stared, completely and utterly confused.

 

The Doctor laughed wildly. "You'll never believe where I was, Jack. You see these friends of mine? They're actually ponies! PONIES! They come from a world where everyone turns into ponies!"

 

Jack gave the Doctor a strange look. "You're kidding. Right? You're making this up?"

 

Swordpoint stepped forward. "He is not. I am a pegasus by the name of Swordpoint. This form is strange to me, as it is to my friends."

 

Jack raised his eyebrow. "How did you end up there?"

 

The Doctor only shrugged. "Not really sure. I'm hoping to find that out."

 

(OoC: There. You finally know. I can't believe you didn't see this coming, Rascal. I know you thought it was weird that there was the Master, Daleks, weird machinery that serves no purpose... Come on, now. )

crimson stood there for a moment, completely speechless as he looked back and forth between the doctor and the newcomer, apparently named jack, before finally stepping forward, "wait...wait, wait, wait! what are you two talking about!? hehehe because it ALMOST looks like you two are saying this whole adventure to this stupid tower, fighting moving trashcans and threatening some pompous prettyboy... WAS ALL FAKE!!" said crimson in a more than slightly irritated tone.

@@Justin ZW, (I expected, Rani, River, maybe one of the companions. But not Captain Sexy. Wheres Torchwood in all of this? What happened to the sex addicts)

Fire had her mouth gaped, for about a few seconds before she closed it. And about a million emotions and thoughts whirled through her head and body every second that ticked by, even while Sword point talked.

Anger, guilt and a couple others were definitely up there. 

 

"What? Sorry, but What? You purposely made this very elaborate scheme to capture the Doctors attention. Making some of us very fearful of our fate in a world where we have no f***king clue what's going on. And I'm pretty sure I told you I was a MARE before all this, so don't act all innocent. And you, Doctor, couldn't have told us about Him not being the master in the elevator. I was seriously prepared to clock him out and send him to an asylum."

Fire calmed down just slightly before she said this next.

"And sorry about the room, maybe you shouldn't capture a Ware Mare and put her in a room. Especially with so many fancy toys."

Jack laughed. "I like her, Doctor." The Doctor merely rolled his eyes.

 

"I figured that this was all wrong," the Doctor replied. "The Master wouldn't have let us escape so easily, and he would have deadlocked the door to your room. Oh, and Daleks don't work well with others."

 

Jack waved his hand. "We needed you back for a reason." He walked to the window and stared outside. "Something's going very wrong. Time's been... joining. It's only certain places, and it doesn't last long. But you'll suddenly see, like, a 1950s car going down the street... and then it's gone."

 

The Doctor furrowed his brow. "That's not good. Not good at all. Are there specific places where it happens?"

 

Jack nodded. "Yeah. It seems centered around downtown. Usually big, urban areas feel the effects the most. It's been happening for a year, now."

 

"Well, then," the Doctor said matter-of-factly, "let's check it out, shall we?"

 

(OoC: lol Captain Sexy made me laugh.)

Jack laughed. "I like her, Doctor."

Fire Huffed.

"You don't get to like me Solider. You're just as bad as a changeling."

Though Fire just watched and listened to the rest of what the doctor had to say, calming down all the while but still angry with him and his friend. Who she thought was a looker, but a looker nonetheless. 

And she was fine going to check things out, maybe she could learn a little more about this world. And maybe she could get the information of the new guy, who the doctor called Jack. Though she was still not sure about him.

"I fine to investigate things Doctor, by can I ask. What's a car?"

Jack gave the Doctor a strange look. "Oh my god. They really are ponies, aren't they?"

 

The Doctor nodded enthusiastically. "Yep."

 

Jack shook his head. "Okay, that aside... The boys at Torchwood have been monitoring this phenomenon for awhile, but we haven't been able to work out anything. We've been looking for you because we were hoping you could help us out."

 

Swordpoint only gave them a confused stare. "What?"

 

The Doctor absentmindedly waved his hand. "Well, Jacky boy, take us there."
