Jack stepped back a step. "I was agreeing with you. No reason to get angry. I mean he or she will definitely be better at flying than Charcoal. And an earth pony can learn to be a good wife or husband to marry a Pegasus and breed to make more Pegasi, right? We all have to learn the good side of things."

Jack opened the door and exited. He didn't feel good exactly. What was he going to tell Charcoal? He ran to the hotel. He climbed up the stairs and knocked on the door "Charcoal, sweetie. Its me, Jack. I'm back from your parents." Jack called sounding a bit disappointed.

"Well I found out that they abused you just because they found it funny to see you sad. They are sort of happy that you're having a foal. They'd only be happy if it was a Pegasus." Jack shrugged. "Yeah." Charcoal was only about half paying attention. She was enjoying the feeling of Jack nuzzling her when she gets that feeling again, this time it makes her flinch a little bit. She stares at her stomach for a few seconds before smiling and moving a hoof to start rubbing it."

Jack witnessed Charcoal wincing. "Hey, are you okay?" she then stared down to her stomach which she rubbed. It wouldn't have been suspicious if she wasn't pregnant "You're not telling me something, Charcoal, sweetie. What aren't you telling me?" Jack asked.

"I wasn't exactly sure before, but now I'm pretty sure I felt a small little kick." Charcoal said with a smile as she rubbed her belly. "I'm pretty sure the foal is getting weirded out by the two of us cuddling so it is trying to get us to stop." Charcoal said with a giggle.

Charcoal giggled at Jacks attempt to feel the foal kicking. "I don't actually think the foal can hear anything yet. I'm pretty sure that it is just trying out its new limbs. Just wait about two weeks, it will be plenty big enough for you to be able to feel a kick whenever it moves around."
