"Yeah." Charcoal said. She reached down and rubbed her stomach. It still ached from the blow. She didn't understand why it had hurt so much, hits like that had never hurt before. Was it because she was pregnant? Mayby she will have to ask the doctors when this emergency whatever was over. This is either a very large hospital or the worlds largest hallway.

The nurses split up. Taking Jack to one room and Charcoal in another. Doctors wearing their uniforms crowded around Jack. They hooked him up to machines, injecting him with needles and stuff he actually didn't see. The light above him was so bright in his face that he couldn't do nothing but stare at it. He suddenly felt really sleepy. His eyes were weighing closed. Jack tried to fight it, but it was too strong for him to resist. He fell asleep cold.

When they asked if there was anything they should know about her medical wise she mentioned she was pregnant. After slightly more chaos they eventually got enough of the drug in Charcoal to knock her out for a good while.

Charcoal woke up very slowly to the sound of Jacks voice. She looked around, she felt herself still hooked up to a few machines. She found Jack eventual. "Oh hey Jack... your face looks funny." She said in a sleepy voice as she giggles and started poking his face.

Jack got off Charcoal. "I'm just making sure that she's okay. I did carry her on my back to this hospital. Now if you'd please excuse me, I need to talk to my... very good friend." Jack turned back to Charcoal "I was so worried about you. I was afraid that one of us wouldn't have made it."

Charcoal wasn't paying attention to Jack. Her attention was on her wings as she was flexing them. "Whoa, what are these weird things on my back?" She asks in fascination. After she was done watching her wings she decided to see if they were edible and put one wing in her mouth.

Jack stared at Charcoal. This was a sight all right. "Damn it. I wish I had a camera." he slowly took Charcoal's wing out of her mouth. "Charcoal. Those are your wings. You can't eat them. They're you." Jack explained slowly, hopefully trying to catch her attention.

Jack knew that this was a bad idea. He tried to say no. But, like the stallion he was, he got close to Charcoal. "What is it?" he whispered. The tension was about to kill Jack. A secret? He almost expected it to be a ruse because of the drugs, but he stayed faithful.

Charcoal put her mouth right up to Jack's ear and whispered: "Don't tell this to my friend Jack but... I love him." Then before Jack could pull away Charcoal gave his ear a nice long lick and pulled her head away. "Now I better not catch you telling that to anyone, especially Jack."

Crystal Barely heard what Quill had said and was still off in her own world. "Hmm? Yes yes I am fine." She muttered to herself, just loud enough to make it seem as if she was responding. "Just admiring the building is all."

*But What if he hates you afterwards? What he phones the police? I doubt he would do that but it is a possibility after all.*

Quill decided to believe Crystal. He shrugged and kept walking. The building, he supposed, was pretty cool. It was tall and elegantly decorated, including the shops. He finally stopped in front of a store. At the top was 'Barber' in large blue lettering against a white background. Turning to Crystal, he said, "This is the barber."

Quill decided to believe Crystal. He shrugged and kept walking. The building, he supposed, was pretty cool. It was tall and elegantly decorated, including the shops. He finally stopped in front of a store. At the top was 'Barber' in large blue lettering against a white background. Turning to Crystal, he said, "This is the barber."

Crystal stopped in front of the building. "Yes. I noticed because of the large sign that said "Barber" on it." She said in a sarcastic manner.

*I will think over it later*

"This will not take long so do not worry." She walked into the building, sitting down and asking for her hair to be evenly cut. The Barber didn't bother to question why her hair was green after she took her hat off, and just got to work.

"Liar." Charcoal leaned forward to get Jack but ended up falling off the bed and hitting her head. "Owwie. That hurts." Charcoal said as she rubbed her head. She had detached herself from a few of the machines she had heed attached to but she didn't notice.

That is what those machines did, they made sure you stayed alright." The doctor stopped rubbing his temples and looked at Jack. "And why is it you needed to find this mare so badly?"
