)O( Scarlet )O( 1,259 August 14, 2013 Share August 14, 2013 Ok, so I've recently gotten back into doing art, specifically using Adobe Photoshop, but I have one or two problems I would like some help with. 1. When using the paint bucket to fill spaces, it always leaves a gap between where i used it and the edges of what i was using it on, how do I stop that? 2. How do I make ends of lines sharp and pointy, and not stubby and round? I would greatly appreciate any help, thanks! I have tried googling it, youtubing it, but nothing seems to work for me (Avatar art done by and Signature art done by @Guardian Braveheart (Aka my little brother), Avatar and Signature done by myself)
Motion Spark 7,811 August 14, 2013 Share August 14, 2013 do your lineart in one layer, and your coloring in one separate layer. The problem with stay I believe but your lineart will cover it. Another thing you can do, is do your lineart in one layer, and then use the selection tool and select the area that you want to fill in with color, that way you can simply use the brush tool and color without worrying of coloring out of the line. For your other concern, if you're using a tablet, you draw the lines moving your whole arm, elbow included. You DO NOT, use only your hand and wrist like you do with pencil and paper, because with a tablet is not that easy. If you can't do that, you can use the pen tool, you can't go wrong with it. 2 My OC's: Motion Spark || Beat Spark || Rosebelle Sorry, I don't take REQUESTS!
