Midnight Sky jumped in surprise when he heard a new voice suddenly pop up. "Good, looks like hitting that door didn't have any permanent damage. Well, my name is Midnight Sky and I was also called here by Princess Luna. As far as why she's called us here is beyond me, and yes he is the alicorn we're supposed to meet, but I'll let him introduce himself." Midnight said cautiously.

(Sorry for my inactivity, I am still here and interested but didn't know that this was running again)

 

Snowdream opened her eyes and waited for her vision to focus. She sat up, dizzy and confused.

 

"Where am I?" She asked to herself.

 

Something moved in the corner of her eye and she realized that she wasn't alone.

 

"Uh... Hi?" Snowdream offered sheepishly, not really sure what to say.

"My name is Avolon." Avolon says quickly covering up his seemingly blank flank "I assume you are here because of Nightmare's note. Or if you prefer Princess Luna's note. For you Midnight if you want read any book you want everything here is more advanced black magic like resurrections summoning demons that sort of stuff demonology is in isle 1 necromancy is in isle 2 draining is in isle 3 conjuring is in isle 4 and witchcraft is in isle 5." Avolon says completely from memory "oh yeah and the death spells are hidden above your head why they hid those is beyond me that is the most interesting stuff" Avolon concludes pointing to a stone in the ceiling.

"Thanks, I guess I'll get started." Midnight said quickly before heading over to aisle 4, not wanting to get stuck in conversation with so many ponies. 'Gee, I wonder what could have possibly encouraged them to hide the death spells.' Midnight Sky thought sarcastically as he began levitating down random summoning spell books and reading. 'By the looks of some of these spells, I might be able to do most of these. I'll have to find a way to get in here again after this mission is over, there is now way I could read all of these in time, and there's no way I'm going to practice these without ample space and with other ponies nearby that could interrupt me. At least for the time being I have a good excuse not to talk to anypony.'

Skitter looked at Avolon

" I'm Skitter Run and yes I am because of the letter"
Then he looked around at all the book that Avolon was pointing out.

" Scary stuff" 

Skitter's eye's grew very wide and he trotted over to Avolon.

"Oh can you summon a deamon right now that be so awesome"

"yes I probably could, and no I am NOT going to do that the only thing that this room is designed to hold are elementals and they are hard, and demons you have to bind enslave and if any of those fail they try to kill you. and everything here is kinda scary that is why it is in some of the most secure parts of the archives. anyone up for scotch?" Avolon tosses Scitter Run a silver medallion "these will grant you assess to all parts of the Canterlot archives, actually most parts, you need a gold medallion to get into summoning rooms the elemental generators mass damage and banishment spells. and platinum to get into time travel and darkness spells. I also believe there is one rank higher but that is only for royalty."

 

"damn insanity, I wish Apolyon was here" Avolon says sympathetically to himself
