open Sword Art Online: Pony style!

[Snowy Storm 57]

"I thought he would have learned, by now he can't ditch me that easy" Icy was walking through the dungeon. oddly enough most of this dungeon was already cleared. She somehow managed to to get lost in the dungeon unsure where she was.
"I should have checked if there was a map of this place" she grunted to herself. it wasn't until she came up on a griffon with it's back turned to her, she also was wielding a scythe like her.
"Uh. Hi?" she said unsure what to say next.

"Innocent...he's innocent" Equinox said confused. "For all I know he's part of Titans hand and who are you two" Equinox asked looking at the two griffons. One held a scythe and the other a bastard sword. "You two wouldn't be the ones I heard about...clearing the dungeons trying to get every one free from this game" He said as he sheathed his katana.

"That'd be us."

*Malik said.*

"We were just doing some grinding, prepping to take on the next dungeon."

*Malik noticed Equinox's laughing coffins mark.*

"Oof, you've gotten yourself mixed up with a bad crowd. Games barely started and LC already has a bad reputation of murderurs, assassins and scoundrels. At least among the front liners. I heard one of their members enjoys killing other players for sport. Pretty gruesome if you ask me."

 

*Rynn turned and nodded in greeting to Icy.*

"Ah, another scythe wielder I see. We are quite the rarity these days. Most players just prefer to go with swords or spears. Takes a lot more talent to fight with a scythe."

"Wait what...that damn stallion lied to me...he told me they were about getting rid of red players I got a message saying this guy is part of Titans hand..."That stallion is dead now" Equinox said as he felt stupid. "I never heard of Laughing Coffin...I was a solo player in the beta and was one a short bit till I joined a different guild" He said quitting the Laughing Coffins. "Besides I already fought and killed a red player that tried to kill my sister...then I got this pony here keeping her eye on me because of the orange arrow so yeah..." Equinox said as he sat down. "How do I get mixed up in these things" He asked himself as he pulled his katana out and went deeper into the dungeon. "Well...since I'm here I mught as well get more info on the boss while I'm at it...or try to kill it" He said going onward and deeper into the dungeon

Casey followed along. "I knew I felt something suspicious going on." she said. She hoped that they could get out of this mess. "I agree with Equinox.." she said. She was eager to fight the boss.  "Would you like me to message the rest of my guild members?" Casey asked everypony.

Icy spun her scythe.
"Yeah good to see another Scythe user. My scythe is called the Crescent moon. It is based off the Crescent moon" She smiled at the Griffin. She knew how hard it really was to train and use a scythe. Anypony could pick up a sword and use it, but a scythe needed time and skill to use. 
"I'm Icy, and I'm a lancer, but I think that I'll go back to being a Dancer again. I think I'll be more useful to a group as a dancer" She turned to face Equinox.
"Laughing Coffins... You must like something about death, since it follows you almost everywhere"

Equinox through a dagger at Icy and deliberately missed her. "Shut up...man I miss playing solo right now" Equinox said as he continued on then stopped. "Also...STOP FOLLOWING ME" He said as he stabbed a monster and slashed it 12 times killing it. "I want to get out of here..." He said sounding annoyed

"Woah." Casey said stepping away. She didn't like to be around people when they were mad. "I'm Casey, the leader of the nHoofs. Icy's part of our guild." Casey said happily introducing herself to the griffins. She had never met a griffin before in her life except once.

Icy watched the dagger pass her. She pointed her scythe at him.
"Relax, I haven't done anything to you. You are hostile against me for no reason. Remember this is a game we should have fun while we try to save everyone. Besides I have to follow you so you stay where I can see you"
She bowed to the griffons "I hope we can be friends"

Equinox kept running killing monsters as he goes. "I swear...all because I killed one pony who tried to kill my sister..." Equinox said as he stabbed another monster and slashed it to pieces. He stopped moving when he came up to a door. "Here it is...the boss door" Equinox said as he looked at his equipment.

Raxor arrived out of breath to the door with the rest of her team. "Im.. here." She looked up and saw the huge door in front of them. "Ummm... I still dont have a sword." She said bluntly. She had asked but got no reply, maybe Lightning had not heard her. "Bad timing to hsve a sword made." She thought. She had armor and a few potions. Maybe they would let her be a healer.

Equinox opened the door and looked at the boss. "So you are the boss of this dungeon" He said looking at a hydra unfazed. "You ready Icy" Equinox asked as he gripped the poison blade he equipped with his magic. "Cause I don't want you falling behind" He said as he dashed forward

Razor looked confused. "Umm.. guys-" they ran inside and left her. She sighed and decided she had to think of something to do now. Maybe watch from afar to see if she was needed. Or contact other members. Or both!

She sent a message to the guild members who were not present that they were at the boss room. And then she watched Equinox charge towards the hydra.

Icy watched Equinox charge in.
"He want to kill himself " she said out loud.
She saw Razor without a weapon.
"Here take my lance" she tossed it towards Razor
"here I go!" she charged in after Equinox. she activated her skill Daze. she knew the boss would be immune to her ability, but the boss would target her. The two of the Hydras head focused on her.

Another two of the hydra targeted Equinox and tried to bite him. "Heh...its not going to be easy to eat me" Equinox said as he jumped on top of the hydra head and saw another coming for him. He jumped up and plunged his blade into its head and started moving on the necks. "Okay so far so g-" Equinox was interrupted by a hydra hitting him and slamming him into a wall. "That hurt...." He said as he saw another coming for him. He jumped up and landed on the head again. "Well you are persistent I'll say that" He said as his blade glowed and barely moved from another hydra slamming into a wall. "Okay here we go" He said as he activated -Rage Spike- and struck the Hydra and moved back to gain some room. "I fought you before I will fight you again you bloody hydra"

*Kirri and Malik ran into the boss room after the others. They stopped for a second to evaluate the boss and Malik formed a plan.*

"Kirri, get on the hydra's back. I need you to start removing its heads so more can grow back. We will distract it while you do so."

*Kirri nodded and began to loop around behind the hydra Malik focused on the other fighters in the room.*

"Everyone! We need to focus on removing the hydra's heads so more can grow back! The heads grow weaker with each additional head, while the experience reward increases. Kirri will focus on removing the heads, Icy! If you see her getting overwhelmed, go and help her while Kid katana (equinox) and I focus on hitting its belly and lowering its main HP bar."

*Malik drew his bastard sword and hopped up on his hind legs using his wings for balance. He ran over to equinox and stood next to him ready to fight.*

Meanwhile Lighting was asleep in the inn when he woke up to a message sound he read the message "I thought that was tommorow but oh well better hurry then." He said rush to the dungeon flying as fast as he could slashing all monsters in his way to the dungeon.

Razor saw Lightning approaching- she hadn't entered the boss room yet. "Hey Lightning! You're here!" She said and he caught up with her. "Hey, should we just charge in there? Or wait for orders?" This isn't any time to ask questions, Razor you idiot. She looked at the lance she was handed. She could fight with it, she was sure.

"Heh...I was hoping to keep cutting the heads..but thing needs to die...also dont call me kid katana the name is Equinox" He said as his blade glowed as he jumped up. He pointed himself and his blade downward to the hydras back. "-Sonic Screw-" Hesaid as he spiraled down into the hydras back before he jumped off of it and used slant on one of the heads he weakend and sliced it off.

"What's with the lance I thought I gave you a sword earlier oh well take this one it's should be better then that lance so let's go tell me what I missed after this alright." Lighting gave Razor the sword and flew in slicking a hydra head and stab it in the back remembering a old quote to get up on the hydras back.

*Malik smirked.*

"Well then Equinox, lets see if you can manage to handle the boss once it gets enough heads."

*Malik ran at the Hydra's belly and began slashing at a high pace, while Kirri was moving from nech to neck, steadily slicing them off one at a time. Eventually, the hydra got up to twinty heads, all of them flailing around wildly, then they stopped and looked down at the group. All of the hydra's eyes began glowing and they opened their mouths and let out an ear drum shattering screech. The hydra's necks became armored, resistant to damage do cutting off more would be a no go.*

"That's it!"

*Malik called.*

"Its reached its highest value. Now we can kill it!"

*Kirri soared off of the hydra's back and landed softly next to Malik.*

 

"Now what? I hope you have a plan of attack for this one. I don't want a repeat of the fiasco with the dragon."

*Kirri said to Malik. Malik smiled and rested his sword on his shoulder.*

 

"Ha, that would not be good. Luckily, I do have a plan, and its a good thing we have this spunky young guild with us, because we will need them to pull it off."

*Malik said confidently. He pointed his sword at the hydra.*

"EVERYBODY RUSH THE BASTARD!"

*Malik shouted and began running at the hydra, his sword glowing. Kirri looked dunbfounded.*

 

"THATS NOT A PLAN! THATS JUST YOU BEING AN IDIOT AGAIN!"

*Kirri shouted at Malik and then faceclawed.*

Equinox watched the hydra and found something. "I got it" Equinox said as he went behind the hydra and his sword glowed. "-slant- then -vertical- then -rage spike" Equinox said as he chained the skills together and hit the hydra. "I swear this was easier when I was on my own" He said to himself

Lighting heard what Malik said and said "It's a good as plan as any right now I'll handle the heads though." He started slashing off the heads one by one and red lashing when they grew back so his team will be safe from any attacks but the heads started growing faster each time "how it's health not sure how long I can keep this up."

The two head that were focused on bite and clawing her she was hard pressed to keep up her dance to avoid damage. they still hit her, but her scythe left long arcing strikes on its neck. She finally managed to cut one of the heads to only see it regrow and gain armor.
"Stop cutting the heads. We need a plan" as she shouted this the head leaned back.

"What is it doing now?" It shoot out a jet of acid. she jumped to the said and dodged it, but took splash damage. 
"I hope this works" Icy began to ready her skill. "-Wind Dance-" Wind dance increases her allies speed and reflexes.

*Malik deflected an attack from the hydra that launched him backwards. He stood back up and shrugged it off. He opened his menu.*

"Something they didn't tell anyone about the game, but I managed to figure out. You can upload some music to the game to play."

*He selected a song and heavy battle rock began to echo through the room. He bobbed his head a few times, the jumped up into the air, in time to land on Kirri's scythe.*

 

"This is a terrible idea you know."

*Kirri commented.*

 

"Just do it."

*Malik said with a smile on his face. Kirri swung her scythe with Malik on it, and at the max speed of the swing he launched himself off of the scythe with the force of his jump and Kirri's swing. He held his sword out in front of him and stabbed right into the hydra's vulnerable belly, plunging his intire body into the beast. They hydra howled and its body began to crack and Malik thrashed around inside of it. Finally the hydra exploded into polygons and Malik dropped down and landded cleanly on his hind legs, his health drastically lowered by the hydra's acidic innards.*

"And that my friends, is how you slay a hydra!"

*Malik shouted with a laugh.*
