Night Blade emerges from the ally way. His robes torn to shreds, cuts all over his body and his eyes losing their shine. He collapses to the ground, his injuries finally taking their toll. With his remaining strength he utters one word, "Help" he loses consciousness.

Casey ran outside. She saw the mysterious pony collapse. He had cuts all over and his robes were torn to shreds. Casey ran into where they were eating. "Hey guys! Come outside quick!" Casey yelled. She was determined to help this pony out even though she didn't know him well.

Lighting saw the new pony fall and saw Casey run for help he flew toward and he saw the damage upon the unknown pony "hey are you ok?" Lighting asked him moving the pony hoping for a response from the pony. Lighting started healing him with some potions.

With the help of the potions, Night Blade regained consciousness and saw the he was being helped by somepony. He tried to get up, but was weak from the battle. "I...need rest...." Night Blade said as he again tried to stand up. He looked up and saw a few more ponies coming to aid in his time of need.

Casey helped him up to the nearest place. "Your gonna be just fine." Casey said as calm as she could be. She got a room for him so the clerics could look at him. "Please help him!" Casey said. The cleric took him to a room. "What happened?" the cleric asked. "I don't know. I found him like that." Casey said.

Equinox helped a few ponies beat the first dungeon boss before he continued on his way and we to the floor he was at before he went back. Meanwhile Shinx got help with the hydra boss and thanked the ponies who helped he before she continued on to the next level and had to fight another monster. She defeated it and continued on as wisp healed her. "Can't wait to be free of this game" She said as she continued on.

"Casey what do you think happend to him I saw him walking with somepony else and Razor seemed really keen on watching them or one if them. But once he's better I think we should ask him a few questions and see what we can do about it." Lighting said dropping any sort of joking Mannerism that he usually had when talking.

Night Blade lay in the bed provided from the stranger ponies who put him there. The clerics that tended to him have left and there were now two ponies left. He opened his inventory and retrieved the money he took from the bad guys, and tossed it onto the foot of the bed, "Take it, i have no need for it." Night Blade said in a low monotone voice, his face void of any emotion.

Lighting looked at the pony and asked him "Ok who are you and why did thouse other ponies attack you?" Lighting asked wondering what happend. "Also why are you just giving all that in game cash away it seems like a lot cause if its a rewarded for helping I don't want it keeping as many ponies as we can alive is my rewarded to me."

Night Blade sighed, he usual doesn't talk this much, but seeing as these ponies saved his life he might as well tell them, "Those ponies hired me to eliminate you. I watched you all from the shadows, waiting for the right moment to strike. I had many opportunities to, but i never did. I saw no reason for you to die, so i told them i wasn't going to, and that's when they set an ambush for me."

Equinox continued helping other ponies with the dungeon bosses before he headed on to the next floor and went on ahead. "How long has it been since we were in this game" He asked him self as he continued on to the dungeon without any of his guild friends

 

 

Shinx arrived at the town exhausted. She went to the nearby inn and rented a room to rest

Lighting was shocked to hear that he was a hired assassin "why would think being hired to kill someone is ok? Especially since innocent ponies lives are on the line right now." Lighting asked him with an angry tone in his voice. Just wonder how ponies can just give up their morals so easily in here.

"You are mistaking. I do not kill innocent ponies. The ones who hired me said that you are trying to stop people from leaving this world, but as i watched, you wanted to get out just as much as everypony else." Night Blade said with a monotone voice. "There are ponies on here who are taking advantage of the situation. Fighting to rule."

"Stupid player killers don't they realize no pony should die by anyponies hoof the only exception is self defense if you didn't start the fight. Look my guild may be willing to help keep you safe if they see you again. If you can promise and prove one thing to me. No killing other players unless you have to too save you life out of self defense or to save an innocent pony in trouble. Can you do that?"

Icy followed the group, she was so busy thinking of things she missed a lot of what happened around her. She finally regained her senses.
"I'm sorry I was daydreaming"She looked at the new pony "I guess if we already have one player killer I can deal with a second player killer. Welcome to the guild" she said holding out one hoof to the pony.

Razor had failed to hear Lightning. Both because she was concentrated on planning how she was going to get revenge on the theif and because she was pretty tired. So without knowing her friend had talked to her she kept silent. The strange mark on the ponies wore showed a coffin. Razor was sure it must of been tbe Laughing Coffin guild but she couldnt be so sure, maybe coffin markings were more popular than she knew. And they didnt try to kill her, just stole her money.

Night Blade took the offer and shook hooves. "I shall keep my blade sheathed unless it is absolutely necessary to use it." He said bowing his head. "In return for saving my life, I shall tell you who I am. My name is Night Blade, I am a Beta Tester. While i played the beta, i analyzed everything about this world. I researched it day and night. I looked at the coding of the game and was fascinated at how the team was able to make something so beautiful. I am a programmer on the outside world, so i understand how things like this work."

"Ok then, now I'm not saying I don't trust you but just to be on the safe side of this I think we should watch over you till you prove yourself and feel good enough to move. Also why did those ponies want us dead we never messed with them as far as I know." Lighting asked Night Blade hoping for some answers.

"Those ponies that wanted you dead found out how far you and your guild have been going to free everyone in this game," Night Blade said, his gaze shifts to a nearby window, "They want to stay inside this game and rule it with an iron hoof. For a while, the bosses were the only thing holding everyone back from beating the game, but now that you and your guild are getting closer and closer to the goal, you have become a threat to their plan. Those ponies i beat were just the underlings to the Big Boss. A very powerful individual who wants to control everything."

"Ok then I'm Lighting one of the founders for the guild. And from what you told me thouse ponies are not that smart I mean our bodies must be In hospitals by this point I mean our real bodies can't eat or drink for themselves. Who knows how long our bodies can handle the life support."

"The life support can keep us alive for years, so that is not an issue. The issue is stopping Big Boss. If we leave him alone, then when we are able to leave the game freely, he will be here ruling everyone. He has to be stopped. Night Blade said getting up out of the bed.

"We need to be strong, stronger than anyone if we wish to stop him." He trotted to the door, but stop and turned around, "If you need me, i will be at the fields training." With that said, he left.

Lighting caught up with night blade "oh no you don't I said I'd keep watch on you and I ment it and are you really feeling better. You look like you still have some marks on you you should let your in game body recover before going out to fight you should be healed up by tomorrow.

Night Blade stopped walking, "I too want to leave this game, just as much as anyone else. But i cannot do anything if i do not train hard. These marks are nothing compared to the thousands of ponies that are losing their lives every day trying to get out." He looked towards the stallion that followed him and opened his left eye, revealing a dark blood red color. The light from the hallway made the eye appear to glow, "If you wish to keep an eye on me then you are coming to train."

"Ok then I guess we're training together." Lighting told him. "Just to let you know I'm a blacksmith if you need new weapons and armor if I got the materials to make it I will." Lighting told Night Blade "also one question do know any way to get exp faster you said you are a programmer so if you saw the games coding you may know right." Lighting asked hoping to level cap easily.

Night Blade smirked, a very rare occasion, "Yes i am a programmer, and i did get a chance to look at the code, but there are no shortcuts towards leveling up. It takes strong determination and a will to keep moving forward to get stronger. But no matter what, do not falter, even for a second because if you do, you might lose sight of your goal."

 

Night Blade looked at his robes and sighed, "Also, do you know where i can get these robes fixed?"
