My first Vector! (Scootaloo)

Not really sure if this counts as a vector but... here it is! Scootaloo! Hope you enjoy, this is my first drawing made on the PC. Yay!

the outline and hair is good 

 

and i wanna put this lightly as possible mate but uhm 

 

dem eyes Tip USE THE ellipse tool for the eyes 

 

and the hoofs are a bit angular try using curves instead of angles line on the bottom of the hoofs  

 

what program are you using ? 

 

if you are using Photoshop cs5  i might be able to help you get better 

 

otherwise its pretty good for a first attempt

i have no idea how to use paint tool SAI  but if you ask round the forums im sure that people will be able to help you 

 

if you want to learn how to use  Photoshop  ( i highly recommend it cos its really easy to use when you learn and results are epic) then you should be able to find videos on how to vector really well

Hunter pretty much put it spot on with the adjustments and advice.

 

heres a few tips

SAI is a great program but i have no idea how to use it . i personally use inkscape, free, easy, and there are a butt load of "how to vector ponies" tortures on youtube.

this guy is who taught me how to vector with inkscape and i went for having no idea how to , to vectoring my own oc like a pro (atleast i think so!). at any rate if you pic up inkscape (its free) shoot me a message and i will do my best to help!

@lucid and hunter I have already found someone who has been helping me (swiftmotion) and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have SAI plus I think the pic would have looked worse without him showing me how to do stuff

brilliant he is an awesome artist and would really be able to help you out much more than i ever could with paint tool sai
