DarkestStar 31 September 18, 2013 Share September 18, 2013 This will not apply to many of you, but I've decided to give you all a word of warning. There is a VERY convincing scammer out there through Skype going under the name of GDonuts. He will generally offer a trade for some sort of service (whether it be coding something or etc etc) in exchange for you giving him a cheap game, like Just Cause 2 (my experience was that ) After he sends you his work, and you take the time to review it, even a pro coder like me couldn't spot that he bs'ed it. He'll say that you have to send him the info first, and promises to be legit, but no, it's all a lie. Again, his Skype name is GDonuts. Please be careful. Embrace the night, Star 3 Embrace the night, however, do not let it overwhelm you. For only with the perfect balance of light and darkness comes true revelations upon our kind. PlunderSteed 1,252 September 20, 2013 Share September 20, 2013 So...somebody on the internet offered you an exchange of goods or services without the legitimacy of a third party (like eBay)? And then they ripped you off? Stop the presses! 4 Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. And then they ripped you off? Stop the presses! Holy crap...the stench...it's everywhere...the sarcasm is overwhelming. Maybe next time if you bother to read the post rather than just critiquing it you would understand that I'm extending a warning to those who might be more gullible and susceptible to people like these. So, either kill the impoliteness or get off my thread. Really simple. Oh, and I did stop the presses. Except I got front page cause people like you decided to give it hate, but it backfired and gained more interest. I'm looking out for my fellow bronies, whereas I'm pretty sure what you've posted is known as being degrading. 1 Embrace the night, however, do not let it overwhelm you. Sure, it's noble that you're trying to protect others from the same scam; I'll give you that. Still, caveat emptor, bro. All you lost was a $15 game, which is a pretty inexpensive life lesson, all things considered. Laugh it off, move on and be glad it wasn't something far more valuable. 1 Regards, PlunderSteed Bassist, pianist, and backing vocalist for MLP-themed metal band Draconequus. Fair enough. Apologies for my outburst this morning, I was extremely tired and ill prepared for stuff like this. It's true I didn't lose something more valuable, but still, $15 is a lot in my book. I'm not the most wealthy person on earth, so money doesn't exactly grow on trees for me. Embrace the night, however, do not let it overwhelm you. Despite what others may say, thanks for this ! I have been scammed many times (back in my days of Botting RS) and I know nowadays just to never do anything online! The feeling of being cheated never gets any better :/! Thanks for the warning! 2 Have ANY questions about Christianity? INBOX ME!
