Thanks for the response, bud. As I've said, I'm not really from around here and I haven't done a lot of searching due to the fact that I'm short on time. I'm not really too keen on the idea of recreating or making a new one, the whole ordeal here is to get other people's work on the car and not just my own. So the more work you do the better, because then it's your work. Here is an image of the car scheme that I was hoping you'd be able to work with. I'm sure you could figure out something to fit it and make it look good so it blends in, but also sticks out. 

 

I'll also put your name name on the car and if you have a Twitter handle or something that you'd like shouted out I'd be happy to do that as well. I'll consider doing this for everyone but right now the offer is only to you, as it would require you to modify your 'OC' slightly which bides into your personal time. 

 

The image may be big, so be warned.

the front was the trickiest, as it was hard fitting all the ponies on and not making it look all jarbled up and all. I think it came out really nicely, and I'm gonna add Pink Mist's OC once it's ready!

So, do you want to know how the Ponymobile did on its first night out? Of course you do! Took it to the track in the NASCAR iRacing National Series, and the magic of friendship made my 3rd place finish possible!

An hour away from the race. I'm super excited to see Ragin' running that nice looking scheme. As he's stated it'll be at Rockingham so it'll definitely be a different track for some of us, but it's a fun one. So far I do not have any information on if it'll be broadcasted but keep your eye on this topic. The race goes on at 8:30 PM EST and I'll know if it's broadcasted by at least 8 PM. If it is, I'll post it here.. if it's not.. I'll probably not update the thread.

The Rock 80

Rockingham Speedway, North Carolina

September 29th, 2013

 

The Fortsch Motorsports team ran decent practice laps, and David took the pole. At the start of the race, however, there was an accident which bunched the field back up. The #55 car and the #56 MLP Forums Chevrolet were not damaged. The whole race was a wreckfest, with cars constantly sliding out of the second turn or drifting into the wall. Things were going well for the 56, who was able to keep his car running up front for the most part. However, his luck turned around when the 94 car started his car in 3rd gear on the restart, getting into the 56 and causing a wreck on the front straightaway. Bad luck came to the MLP Forums car, which had to be towed back to the pits after the engine gave out. Fortunately, the MLP Forums car had a "fast repair," but lost valuable ground, being put 5 laps down. I salvaged a 10th place finish, but left disappointed, knowing my car could easily have pulled a top 5.

First yellow from a wreck on the back straightaway

 

 

 

The next yellow came out due to this massive crash, taking out numerous competitors, forcing them to use a "fast repair" to get back on the track.

 

The 94's blown restart...

 

...And the consequence I paid for his stupidity.

 

 

After getting back on track a few laps down, I narrowly avoided being taken out by the 3 car.

 

 

I managed to get back onto the lead lap via the use of the Lucky Dog rule, but I lost out because of a blown restart of my own...

 

Having used my fast repair, my team rushed to fix as much damage as possible.

 

 

 

 

A horriffic crash in the first turn ended the race, and after two drivers were thrown out of the server due to misconduct (one of whom was the guy who screwed me). Oh Karma.

 

Limped my MLP Forums car across the finish line under yellow, glad that I could salvage a top 10, but determined to get a top 5, or even a win, at Atlanta next weekend.

 

I'm really sorry the race did not broadcast that night! Hopefully Atlanta should air this time around! I'll definitely be able to turn my luck around at Atlanta, though. Just gotta work my talent and my luck next week!
