Rainbow Blitz smiled as he flared his wings. He spat on the ground and dug his back hooves in the ground while pawing at the ground with his front hooves.

"Thats enough of a head-start." He said 

Rainbow took off in a blink of an eye. He furiously flapped his wings as he soon saw the two others.

"SEEYAWOULDNTWANTTOBEYA!" He shouted as he passed them up.

"NOT THIS TIME!"<br />Shardz said, And teleported on the side of Rainbow.<br />"I TOLD YOU THAT I WANT TO WIN!"<br />She yelled and grinned, But then, Since she wasn't paying any attention, She tripped on her own hooves.<br />"OW!" She said, and accidentally plowed her face into the ground.<br />"I..Im alright.." She said, a bit shook, but still in second place.

Shooting caught up. She flew ahead as fast as she could. "Be careful." Shooting said when Shards fell. She kept flying ahead quickly. At one point she was almost neck in neck with Rainbow but she fell behind. "Shoot!" Shooting said as she fell behind. She was determined to do it again.

"Amateurs." Rainbow Blitz said.

He flapped his wings harder as he started to pull away from the two. He was going to give them a fighting chance, but he didn't want to underestimate his opponents. Blitz debated on whether or not he should leave a sizeable gap between them.

Maybe i can woo her with my specialty. He thought.

Shooting tried to catch up once again. "He's really fast.." she thought moving her hair out of her eyes. She really liked competition. Her wings flapped harder and harder. Suddenly, she was almost neck in neck with him again. "You can do this.." she thought confidently.
