MLP Farewell Address

So after browsing for a few days on here, I've come across many a topic.  A couple of 'em were talking about the ending of the show.  Whether they posed questions such as "How many seasons will MLP have??" or "What will the final episode be like??", it's something that has at least been around. 

 

My question to you fine polyfolk is similar in nature.  Let's say MLP is coming to an end and Hasbro wants to end with something special.  They decide to take EVERY brony's name and put it into a gigantic hat.  They pick a name at random and it turns out, it's YOU (aka, whoever is reading this). 

 

You are then brought to Hasbro HQ, tossed on a stage, dozens of lights shine and numerous cameras are all up in your business.  You see, it's your honor to give a "farewell address" of sorts to the show. 

 

Essentially, I'm asking what you would say to the world about the end of MLP.  Would you talk about the shows roots and how the brony thing all started?  Would you go on and on about the endless music, art, stories, and not to mention charities the bronies have contributed to?  Would you go on an epic lecture about why "X" is best pony????  Or maybe you just say "Eh, it was alright I guess" and leave it at that.

 

Regardless, you have complete freedom to say whatever you want.  So, what will your going-away speech entail?

Alright, do I really care that much about the fate of the show? Nah, I mean they already cancelled a halfway-decent sized dumpster full of shows I liked before, so it's like "Whatevs homedawg".

 

But If they made the huge mistake of choosing me for this said task, I'd give them what they paid for.

Why bother summarizing this when i could just toss it all out there for ya, I mean, I'm notorious for creating abnormally long replies to things on this forum, why stop here?

 

Sure you could say why you liked one specific pony and swear to Waylon Jennings that this specific pony is the best and everyone else is just partly retarded for not agreeing with you, or you could say how much you'll miss the show and whatnot. But I would think a different route...

Alright, where do I begin, eh? Ya'll had a good run, right? You developed a decent remake of a really terrible show and somehow ended up marketing it to groups of adults and young adults instead of little girls, I mean that takes some skill homies. Take a moment right now to give yourselves a nice pat on the back. That's right, do it. You too, guy in the back. We all know why you are here.

 

I seriously have no idea why I like the show. I probably don't even like it. Shit, I don't know... Let's talk about something more along the lines of innovation. Everyone here is here for a reason. We're talkin' strength, determination, and some other shit. That's right, i'm totally just making shit up now. 

 

Ya'll did good. Now make a show about two Llamas that ride to work together every morning in a Chevy Chevette. That would be awesome. Keep on Keepin' on."

 

 

That'd probably be the speech I'd give. Seriously. There'd probably be more obscene unrelated material but I'm too tired now to list it all. Just consider this a warm-up for something entirely more terrible.

I think I would do a montage of the best mlp moments from all the series and dedicate a few mins to each character and talk about why I liked them .

 

At the end I would tank Hasbro for a great show (and writers ect) and end with the first FIM opening, to remind us how it all started !

I would talk about why Pinkie is best pony, why I love the show, how I became a brony and how the show has changed my life.

Then end by congratulating Hasbro on a job well done

I wouldn't want to write the whole thing right here, it would be too long and take too long to write. So imma just some it up:

I'm basically going to rant on about how awesome the show is, how awesome bronies are and all their conttributions to the show, bronies' massive collection of artwork and media, who's best pony and why, who's best CMC and why, who's best princess and why, and finally who's best villain and why. Oh yeah, and who's best background pony and why

 

That's the jist of it. Well there you go ^-^
