Pixie Dust practically jumped with excitement. She skipped towards the door, a big grin spreading across her face. 

 

Maybe I can pick a few flowers for him! Or maybe he should do that... Coltfriends are supposed to do that, aren't they? The mare opened the door and jolted to the flowers, running right into a big field of bright yellow daisies.

"Hey, wait for me!" Blazing called, running after Pixie. He stopped when he saw a flower that looked different from some of the others. He didn't know why, but it seemed... Special, even if it looked like all the other flowers around it. He decided to pick it, then kept running to catch up to Pixie.

Muddle laughed nervously, embarrassed by Shivty's question “I've never actually been on a date before; and this is a little direct considering the situation..."

 

She thought for moment about what to do and was about to reply, but her shadow stopped her before she could speak.

“I was already saying no." Muddle thought, "Can’t I at least tell her?”

Shadow spoke directly to Shivty, and every word that came out of it's mouth shocked Muddle more than the last. "Muddle, before you say no, why not consider it? Clearly Shivty and I got off on the wrong hoof, but that's no reason for you too not go out and have fun right? That is if Shivty will still take you without me of course."

"Hey, wait for me!" Blazing called, running after Pixie. He stopped when he saw a flower that looked different from some of the others. He didn't know why, but it seemed... Special, even if it looked like all the other flowers around it. He decided to pick it, then kept running to catch up to Pixie.

 

Pixie finally made her way deep into the flower patch. She sat down right on the edge of a rather large patch of yellow daisies. The mare picked a few and wove them into a flower crown. "Wow, you're really good at that." Blazing said, setting the flower down for a second so he could talk. Maybe I should find something to carry that around in or something... Or I could give it to Pixie. He thought. He went with the idea of giving it to Pixie, although he wasn't quite sure why.

The mare placed the flower crown gently on Blazing's head. "Here... it makes you look..." Pixie scrunched up her face, trying her best not to burst out into laughter. "PRETTY!" She finally said, falling backwards in a fit of laughter. She fell into a pile of white and purple flowers.

Blazing couldn't help but laugh along with Pixie. He may have been laughing at himself, but it was still a little funny. Wow it's been way too long since I laughed at myself. He realized. He hadn't really laughed that much at all since he was a colt, but that was finally starting to change.

The lavender mare caught her breath and wiped away a small tear. "Ha... I'm not too particularly good at making jokes... but I think that one was pretty funny." She gave a small chuckle. Pixie sat up and inspected the crushed flowers she had just landed on. "Oh darn, I hope I won't get in trouble from this."

The lavender mare caught her breath and wiped away a small tear. "Ha... I'm not too particularly good at making jokes... but I think that one was pretty funny." She gave a small chuckle. Pixie sat up and inspected the crushed flowers she had just landed on. "Oh darn, I hope I won't get in trouble from this." 

"I doubt you'll get in that much trouble." Blazing said, then picked up the flower again. What is it that makes this flower so special? He wondered, realizing how much it looked like every other flower. Oh well, it's still different to me for whatever reason, so who cares why? He decided. Some other thought was bugging him, but he couldn't quite figure out what it was.

"Well yeah. It's not like they make sure no one disturbs the flower beds. Or do they?" The mare's eyes widened in pseudo-fear as she laughed again. She knew that she was acting strange, but she simply attributed it to not sleeping well the night before. Pixie noticed Blaze looking at a certain flower but decided not to say too much. 

"I don't think they do, unless they have somepony out here all the time or something." He said, dropping the flower as he was talking. "Oops." He said under his breath as he picked it back up. Suddenly he started getting that strange feeling again. Celestia! What keeps bugging me so much? He wondered.

She asked, not even turning around to face the stallion as she spoke. "These darn things really are broken... now I sorta feel bad." Pixie grumbled under her breath, giving up on the broken flowers.

I understand why she feels bad, but... He didn't know how to finish his thought. "Well I was just planning on keeping it because something seems... Different about it." Blazing said, nearly dropping it again. "No, not again." He said to himself, making sure not to drop it this time. He shook his head, trying to clear his thoughts.

The lavender earth pony took a close look at it, rubbing her chin with a hoof. "It doesn't seem too familiar to me, I haven't seen it in any of my floral books. Maybe it's poisonous... 'Cause it's really pretty and would be used in arrangements if it wasn't. At least that is what I think, either way, spit it out for now."

The lavender earth pony took a close look at it, rubbing her chin with a hoof. "It doesn't seem too familiar to me, I haven't seen it in any of my floral books. Maybe it's poisonous... 'Cause it's really pretty and would be used in arrangements if it wasn't. At least that is what I think, either way, spit it out for now." 

"Aw..." Blazing said, spitting the flower out. Meh, it couldn't be that bad could it? He wondered. He remembered something from back home that it could be similar to. It may be like that weird Everfree plant, poison joke... He thought. He shuddered, remembering the effect it had on him last time.

"I feel fine." Blazing said. "Thank Celestia it's not like that weird effect the poison joke had." He added. He didn't want to bring it up, but it was true that he was happy about it not being anything like that. Just give it some time... It's gonna happen again and I know it... He thought.

For the first time in that day, Shivty  gave a real smile with no violent intent behind it to the shadow. "That's a very good point. And we kinda did, sorry I threaten to kill you more then once. I got a reeeeally bad temper as you can tell. But I'm willing to start over." She then turned to Muddle."And why not? I'll show you a great time and make sure that you'll enjoy yourself."

Muddle looked at her Shadow and then towards Shivty. She gave her a nervous smile and said, "Sure... It sounds like fun."

 

Shadow smiled and said, "Great! Dow does later tonight sound, for now I think Muddle's getting a little hungry. Actually neither of you have had breakfast yet right?"

When she had the idea if there location she looked at some of the restaurants and pointed to one that looked good."How about we head over there? It seems pretty good."

Muddle relaxed as the two ponies in front of her mentioned something she could understand, "That actually sounds like a great idea. Let's go before school starts." 

 

"Maybe I'm just over thinking things? She doesn't seem all bad, and if she really is anything like Shadow. The anger and sadness thing is exaggerated... right?"

Either of them could notice, but shadow had retreated to behind Muddle and was smiling wickedly. "I can't cause anything to scare this pony off with out her seeing me." Shadow resisted the urge to laugh as it thought, "I can't wait for our date tonight."

Shvty was glade she had a date with Muddle. Sure she knew Bayonet had a thing for Cinderblock, but she needed to branch out a little. Get to know more then one pony. Shivty headed towards the restaurant and calls to Muddle. "Hey Muddy, you coming or what?"

 Shicty walked in and sat in front of her with an amused smirk. "Heh, you must be hungrier then I am." She orders a plate of hash browns with hay bacon, scrambled eggs and hay fries. She takes a bite of her meal. "Mmmm, much better then ass." She drink some of her milk to wash it down. "So, tell me more about yourself."

Muddle continued eating fries as she answered Shivty's question, "I'm sorry, I haven't eat in half a day. As for me, I'm not really sure what to say."

 

Her Shadow appeared snickering at something. When it spoke it seemed like it's soul purpose was to make Muddle mad, "She likes long walks on the beach, and is consider a 'genius' from where she comes from in Trotingham."

 

Muddle glared at Shadow, silently telling it to stop.

 

"Oh and should I continue on with all those snotty rich kids or her annying moth-."

 

There was an odd angry look in Muddles eye's as she shot small beam of pure light into her shadows left hoof, casing it to stay quiet for a moment. "Yes... sometimes I want to kill it too... and I hate beaches."

Secretly her shadow was grinning, "Worth it in the end."

Shivty chuckles and takes another bite of her food. So much better then ass, She thought. "So your a genius hu? I thought you had that smart look about you. I like a mare who's cute and smart. It really shows you come with the hole package." She looks at her with half lidded eyes over her glasses as she brushes Muddles leg under the table with hers flirtatiously.
