Took about half an hour to get her mane right... or better than it was. I cant ever get her mane right. 

But yeah, critiques are very much needed! Comments are welcome too. Done with a mouse with a program called ArtRage.  

 

Right now it is a work in progress!

This was done with a mouse? awesome! This is really awesome, though one critique I have is the hair and the body dont have the same shading. I would suggest shading the hair, or removinf the shading from her body, just to solidify the look your going for, but then again im no artist so I could be totally wrong. But this is really awesome nonetheless, I ruv it!

Yep! I got her mane done. Now all I need is a background.

Yay~! I wasn't worried it wouldn't be too cute. It's pretty hard to do in this style, normally because instead of cute they look incredibly creepy.

Well, you pull it off amazingly. With a little work, you'll be best. I'm sure of it! So far your skills are getting better. I mean, if this was all mouse drawn, you really have high talent! Drawing with a mouse is very difficult, it must have taken forever. I can just see how much you tried, its just that amazing.

 

It would be even more impressive if it was a laptop built in mouse. (I wonder if that's even possible for anyone.)

Hehe. When I was younger I used to do that with my laptop. It was horrible and took forever. I don't know if I can find some old art and dig it out for this thread. ... But it wasn't pony related... or as nice as I draw now.

Well, same here for me except with a mouse and everything else computer related lol. It was really really bad/. ^^" Really. Though, traditional is my fave,. I learn digital. You have patience my friend. I lack it. I can't seriously color in everything.

Overall, this is a very good piece of art. You are a very talented artist, and you must continue to create art, your works are very admirable.

Aww..Thank you~! I was trying to give it a harder type of shading rather than a softer edged brush. Mostly because everyone said the shading sucked on my last drawing.

I mostly disregard most nit-picks on my drawings, unless they are something I find to be important as well.

 

For the most part, I would recommend shading and lighting with soft brushes, it gives a smoother transition.

 

Still, very good piece!
