Usually one or two. Rarely can there be more.

I've always been the kind of person to close tabs as soon as they're not needed, so usually I have 3-4 tabs open at any given time. However, during stressful times, I go up to 15-16, but thats about it.

Just 4 MLP Forum tabs, I had a 5th YouTube tab open before as well but I closed that before I saw this thread.

I typically try to keep it under 10 tabs, I can get lazy with it and have more open, even then there are other things that can be a resource drain than the web browser itself. Media Players typically don't take up much memory, unless you're using them for something like high definition videos with high bitrates.

Your computer must be gasping for air!

Ive noticed closing a window and then reopening it saves some ram, assuming you don’t click on every new tab you just reopened. Restarting your computer works best.
