I figured a brony remixing brony stuff would be cool, so I decided to start remixing this. It's the type of work in progress where it's not adding more sounds that needs to be done, it's transcribing the whole song. Some remixers download MIDI files (the notes to a song) and import the notes in automatically. I think that's cheating, which is why I'm working on different sections of the song at a time.

Wow, that's pretty damn good! I love the original version of the song, and this certainly does it justice. I especially love the crunchy guitar synth you went with.

The guitar synth is actually very simple, it's just a squaretooth sent through low pass filter automation. The dirtiness is the distortion and equalizing that was applied in the synth's effects channel. If that made sense.
