The rainbow secret ingredient.

Ok everypony, I have an idea, and it might not be something you'd expect, or maybe you've already had this thought. BUT! I have an idea about how to turn Rainbow factory into a part of a series, which could be used in cannon episodes if the idea were ever to be noticed and recognized by Hasbro.(Which I doubt will happen, however..) It would obviously exclude much of the actual grim and grotesque parts, and be more along the lines of Discord's episodes. The idea I have would be to capture, as best as possible, the atmosphere of the show, but cover the fanfic idea. I've looked around and noticed a strong number of people looking for King Sombra to make another appearance, as well as Queen Chrystalis. I even have an idea to make use of the newly reformed Discord. I think, if I get this idea developed enough, I'd like to write it out, and maybe even turn it into a fanific comic.

 

The way I look at this is. If the community likes it enough for it to go viral, and the idea is family friendly, it might just get noticed. The way I want to go about this is, I would like to write it, but I'd like as much feedback as possible, sort of like a community story writing challenge. This would make it truly a brony creation, where many minds can colaborate and take pride in contributing to the story. And even if it's an utter failure, I think it'd be fun to try anyway. So there's the rainbow's secret ingredient. Teamwork.

 

Thoughts? Anyone else have this idea already?

I once read a fic where Twilight managed to get some "Unrefined Rainbow" which is basically a voliate liquid-gas that if exposed to air or light in its raw state tends to explode into prismatic light and fade instantly. I kinda liked that idea for some reason. The idea that the rainbow falls of cloudsdale filter the impurities out allowing the creation of 'stable' rainbows.

That's an interesting idea. Kind of like a radioactive material.
I'd like to use that, but I'd like to give as much credit for ideas as possible. Do you remember what the name of that one was?
