"I'm just going to pick out a dress to wear for the gala"

when she turned around to leave the room, a smile glowed on her face

Draco chuckle as he walked towards his room to pick out his outfit. And of course have a nice soothing shower. "Yeah I better bring a nice shirt too," He said to himself as he walked into his personal shower. "Hmm better get my game on," he said as he looked at his face in the mirror.

Hunter was rummaging through her wardrobe, pushing aside dresses with her wing

"no. no. no. too tarty. too frilly. too nun-y. AHA! perfect!"

a smile formed on her lips as she brought out the long black and red garment. she quickly tried it on and looked into the mirror

I looked at myself with my black tux with a black tie against a white shirt. My fedora was black. "Abit showy but it helps out I think," Draco said to himself in the mirror. "Oh yes Ol Silver Eyes will make an Appearance at the Grand Galloping Gala," Draco said with a laugh. Things were going to get interesting that day.

Hunter took one last gaze of herself in the dress before taking it off and hanging it back up in the wardrobe

"can't let him see it now, it'll ruin the surprise"

she giggled to herself and then closed the wardrobe. walking out to the living room and looking out the window to admire the ground level view of the town

Draco stuck his head out the window "Beautiful is it not?" Draco asked as he placed his own clothes back. He couldn't help but snicker at her awed expression "Beautiful Luna's skies," he said as he looked to Hunter "But you are quite lovely your self," He complimented her sincerely.

Hunters cheeks burned yet again and she let out another giggle

"oh my, Draco, you are quite the silver tongue. you're making me blush"

she trotted over and sat on the couch, a smile upon her lips as she looked out the window to see the moon rise from the horizon

Draco walked down to her and placed afew logs into the fire place. "It's going to be quite cold my dear friend. So I'm going to light a fire. Hmm I bet in the fire light your evenm lovelier," Drco chuckle as he lit the fire place. "Hot Coco? "he asked as he walked to the kitchen slowly looking at her but also checking her out.

Hunter said, agreeing to Draco's question, the idea of a cold night was already making her cold. she walked to her room and put on her dressing gown. she walked back into the living room and sat in the same spot she sat, it was still warm and Draco hadn't come back from the kitchen yet

Draco walked out with a tray on his back with two cups of hot coco on the tray. "Here you go my dear lady," he said as he handed her one of the cups. "Careful now it's got," he said as he took a seat next to her watching the fire roared and lit up the living room "The flame so beautiful no? Both dangerous yet comforting. They say love is like a fire,"

"because it can be mostly dangerous and little comforting unless you keep your distance?"

Hunter said as thoughts of past relationships going down the sink, leaving her in shambles. she drunk the cocoa, hoping to keep her mind off of them as she watched the glow of the fire

"You've been hurt before," Draco said with a concerned tone of voice. He looked to his friend on the couch "Talk to me about them Hunter. I want to know of the ones who hurt a beautiful flower like you," Draco said as he looked into Hunter's red eyes a fierce look of determination in them like a fire long forgotten has been lit.

Draco looked hopping mad. "Why those insolent," Draco cursed in zebracan to vent his frustration. "How dare they hurt a beautiful mare like you  just because they were thinking with another organ instead of their brains. You are a wonderful mare let no pony and I mean no pony tell you other wise. That's this courier's advice. Hell they should be begging on their knees just to touch your lips," Draco ranted slightly. He blushed as his first went from a bright red to a darker red. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have gotten mad like that. When I went to school, A mare was nearly well I won't say it. It was by a rich jock and his friend who was a jealous wretched mare who thought she was owed everything. Ahem anyhow I think your lovely,"

Hunter wiped the tears from her eyes and looked up at Draco before mouthing a silent 'thank you'. she laid down on her side, making sure there was still enough room for Draco to have a comfortable seating and took a sip of her cocoa, gazing into the fire

Draco sat next to her as He looked at her. He wiped away her tears with his wing and placing it across her back comfortingly. He smiled at her gently "If you need anything," he said "Just come talk to me or if you need a shoulder to cry on. I'll be here when I can," he said.

I'm mostly over them, I just try not to think about them is all, apart from Vinyl, she was the only who loved me back as much as I loved her, but her parents didn't like the whole fillyfooling thing and had her shipped off to Stalliongrad or Germane, or someplace like that"

she then rested her head against Draco

"Vinyl Scratch. Well I heard she started dating a mare by the name of Octavia," Draco said with a thoughtful look. "Yeah her moniker is Djpon3 now. Delivered her an accordion for some reason. Honestly that was one of my more easier deliveries. But really an accordion? don't know what goes through that mares head," Draco said letting out a laugh. "Anyhow I wouldn't say that,"

"she always was a silly pony, I'm glad to hear she happily moved on. I tried that, all I got was heartbreak and misery"

she took a deep breath to try and relax herself, still laying on the couch with her head propped up on Draco

Draco laughed "You've got me as a friend," he said jokingly. He began to hum a slight song. "And I'm all sort of crazy," he said with a smile on his muzzle. "Trust me on this I gamble at times so I might need you to stop me. Plus heh a cute mare like you Well I'll follow you towards the ends of Eques," Draco said with a compliment. He gulped down his coco. "Ah that was good,"

"I guess I'll limit your gambling away from you when you're in the zone. if I'm such a 'pretty mare', you might accidentally bet with me when you're out of money"

she giggled and booped Draco's nose before laying back in the spot she found comfortable

Draco chuckled as he rubbed his nose "I would never do that to you," Draco said as he looked at Hunter. Comfy my dear?" he asked as he pulled her close to him to keep her warm. He looked at Hunter with a smile. "Hmm This is nice isn't it hunter?" he asked as he watched the fire.

"I knew what you were talking about. but, yeah, it is nice tonight. sorry if I soak all your body heat"

she poked her tongue out at Draco and watched the fire

"Heh I don't mind my friend," Draco said as he looked at the folder. He turned on the Radio next to the couch. "Oh hey it's Vinyl doing K-Colt. The Vinyl Scratch is an awesome little show. The Chemistry between the two mares. Octavia and Scratch are great together," he said as he listened. "Oh hey they are interviewing that hottie Spitfire,"

"I didn't know she had her own show. the only stations we get in Canterlot are pop songs that are probably only a couple years old or theres the station that plays old timey music...oh and an illegal pirate radio station from out in the badlands that sounds like its run by sadists"
