     With the bangs of his short, white hair in front of his eyes, Nero still sat on the bar stool in the back, doing nothing while the others talked among-st themselves.  Granted it was kind of annoying him but he could handle it; he had fought many demons, all of them brutal in their own way, some were a big as a 3 story building, some where taller then a human but all were beaten.  His Devil Bringer (http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120628052646/devilmaycry/images/1/12/Devil_Bringer_2.png ), with the glowing blue light protruding from cracks on it, was laying on the counter, not particularly bright is the light of this place; but right now he couldn't think straight with this noise going on of everyone talking, however he didn't want to risk getting kicked out of the establishment because he shot the Blue Rose inside of the place.  He spun the chair around so he faced the others, his white hair swinging out of his eyes revealing his blue eyes from under, "Hey, Mr. Layton.  Does this place have an upstairs room?"

The thought that he would be immortal had never really crossed through Dannys' mind. He had pretty much assumed that his lifespan would last as long as any regular human. He was trying to come up with a response to the Doctor when Natalie spoke up and Danny silently thanked her.

He blushed slightly when Sam was mentioned. "Yeah, I have a friend called Sam, and thanks. You're one of Tuckers' main party members by the way." He said, collecting the gold and pocketing it.

"Now if you excuse my food is ready", he said going to the bar. He then thought about Danny's future and him forever between life and death,unlike him. He then went back to Danny and scanned his chest and went to the bar

Mario nodded and prepared Danny another cola. Just like most of the bartenders, he did enjoy most of the conversations & bets their customers made. That's what made this place so popular, and he enjoyed hanging out with these people just as he did with all his friends from the Nintendo universe.

Alucard tapped his finder on the counter out of boredom, not one single person here knows who he is. Its not that he does not mind, its just that he is bored and wants someone to talk to him, "Excuse me Mario, can you make me a drink. I do not mind what it is. Surprise me." he said in a monotone voice. The place seems like it is getting dull, and he needs something to bring him some entertainment. Alucard smirks devilishly as he gets an idea.

Layton looked at Alucard and pleasantly replied, "Forgive me for my intrusion, Sir Alucard, but I don't believe a few hours of silence warrants a bump response."

 

"Still, if it's all the same to you, I can make you that beverage."

 

He went to the kitchen, and remained there for a minute or two. He came out with an ordinary glass of a clear brown substance. Tea.

 

"I hope you can forgive its lack of alcohol."

If Alucard took the tike to taste it, it would have a noticeable sweetness to it with a slight and subtle kick as well. Just hope he's someone who drinks warm tea.

 

Meanwhile, a newcomer came through the door. A young teenage girl, dressed as a magician. She wore boots, magic hat, the works. She pleasantly walked toward the Bar with a little skip in her step. She didn't ask for anything yet, but she waited there pleasantly for the bartenders to be a bit less pre-occupied.

Alucard looked at his new drink, " Ah tea, the one drink that i can never turn down. I forgot to mention that i reside in England and have grown accustomed to drinking tea." He lifted the cup and took a sip. His blood red eyes seem to dilate from the sweetness, and then returned to normal as a soothing kick came too. "My this tea is superb." he said with a satisfying smile.

Mario had quickly attempted to attend to the magician girl after Professor Layton had kindly offered to get Alucards drink for him. He finished another customers order, then proceeded to the girl.

 

"Hello there, welcome! What can I-a get for you?" He asked with a smile.

Layton smirked at Alucard's response. "Why thank you, my good man. Fortunately for you, I'm a tea connosieur, so if you need anymore, simply ask.

So, Alucard, if I may, your name rings the tone of a certain sixteenth century supernatural novel, but I assume you aren't actually a vampire. What do you for a living?"

 

Meanwhile, the girl looked toward Mario and smiled. "Hello there, mister, and thanks~! A glass of milk, please?" She smiled pleasantly. "... And maybe some pudding, too?"

"Well, if you must know, what i do for a living is i kill other vampires. And when i'm not doing that, i kill people and feed on their blood." he said nonchalantly. "I am not from a sixteenth century novel and i am indeed a vampire. The very first, so to speak. I have many names, some you might have heard. For instance, I was known as Dracula. Then before that, i was known as Nosforlatoo." He took another sip of tea and sighed in satisfaction.

"You should give it a try. Its quite fun! You get to battle a Cat diety in the 4th game!" She grinned. 

"Mario, Can i please get a cup of coffee? Preferably black."

"Milk and pudding, a-coming right up!" He started on her other before Natile requested a cup of black coffee. "I'll get your coffee ASAP, heh." It was really starting to get busy. He tried to keep up conversations with the customers, only to be working on another order just like that. Eventually he served them both their orders before being called over again.

Layton's kind smile reverted to a frown as Alucard gave a look into his career. "Is... that so? I hope you're aware that no matter the reason, murder IS a crime, and I could very well arrest you now provided you're telling the truth..."

 

"Thanks, Mister~!", pleasantly replied the young girl. She had hoped to talk with the oddly short bartender, but he seemed busy. Oh well. She began to enjoy her confectionaries.

Alucard raised an eyebrow and Laytons comment of arresting him. "I guess that came out wrong. I kill evil vampires and drink blood given to me by my current master, Integra Hellsing, from the hospital. All donated might i add." He finished his tea and requested a refill.

Layton sighed relief and smiled. "Is that all, then? My apologies for the rash assumption, Mr. Alucard. More tea coming right up."

 

He headed into the kitchen, and came out with his teapot, pouring some into his cup. With a tip of his hat, he said, "If it makes up for anything, the rest of the tea in this pot is on the house."

 

Layton was nothing if not generous.

Lelouch came in through the door and quickly got behind the counter. "Sorry I'm late," he told Layton. "My little sister and I were in the park and we lost track of time," he continued.

 

"So, anything interesting happen while I was gone?" He asked Layton, also giving a curt nod to Alucard.

Mario, after finishing up another order or two, finally found a window of oppertunity to chat with the newcomer he just served milk and pudding who. New customers were usually a top priority in his opinion. He walked up to the girl and gave a welcoming smile.

 

"Is this your-a first time here? I don't think I've-a seen you be-fore."

Alucard smiled at Laytons show of generosity. Its not everyday that someone shows the Vampire some friendly gestures. He reached into his trench coat pocket and pulled out a cigar that his master usually smokes. He does smoke, just not very often, if not at all. "Mind if I smoke?" he asked

Layton thought briefly on Alucard's request, before replying, "If you would please step outside before doing so... this is an establishment for all ages, after all."

Then, with a tip of his hat, he replied to the newcomer, "Greetings, sir. An honor to have you here.

No, nothing spectacular has happened. Simply another day at the Crossover Café. May I offer ypu a drink?"

 

The girl replied to Mario, "That's cause this IS my first time here~! My name's Trucy, Ace Magician Extraordinaire, and girl in charge of the Wright Anything Agency!

... You seem vaguely familiar... like an iconic figure for a popular medium... Oh! You're Mario, aren't you? It's an honor to meet you! I didn't know you were a bartender!"

Mario chuckled. "Yeah, I do a lot of-a things, actually. The princess isn't always-a locked up in a castle, you know. I figured I could-a try my hand at bartending after the position opened up. Truly is a great place."

 

"So, you're a magician, huh? Do you-a know any tricks, besides the basic ones, of course."

"Oh no, you misunderstood. I work here you see, my name is Lelouch vi Britannia," Lelouch told Layton with a bow. "Now, if there's anything you need me to take care of please don't hesitate to ask," he told Layton before he went into a back room and changed out of his student uniform and into more casual clothes.

"Oh, you bet~! Here's one people really enjoy~!"

She then reached behind herself and pulled out a pair of... panties... yes, you read that right... anyway, she pulled them out, and took the glass that had formerly held milk, and dropped it in. She tipped the delicates over, and nothing fell out. "And there ya go!"

She removed her hat, as though to give a hat-holding bow, but as it went over the bar table, suddenly, the glass fell onto the table. Quite neatly.

"Yeah, I should bring him and Sam here some time, and Jazz." He said to Natalie.

"Thanks." He said to Mario as he got his refill, and watched a couple more people come in, one who seemed to work here and one who was some sort of magician. Danny watched her trick and went red, mumbling soethinf about not wanting to see that.
