Midnight's face went red as she smiled shyly. "I'd love that..." She returned his quick peck on the lips with a slightly longer peck, followed by snuggling into his chest again. She finally had a stallionfriend who she felt was going to stick around. She was beyond happy.

Grell smiled as he hugged her "we need to get moving " grell said "at least get a little get farther before making camp " grell looked at the sky they had two hours of light left, grell gave her one more kiss before breaking the embrace and turning to walk

Midnight smiled and started walking. She winced at the pain in her legs and looked at Grell. "Hey Grell...? Could you possibly carry me...? My legs aren't used to all this walking and they're hurting..." She shook her hind leg, trying to relax it a bit. She switched and shook her other hind leg

Midnight smiled, snuggling onto his back. "Thank you..." she tiredly said, closing her eyes. -He actually likes me... Who'da thunk it...? For once a pony likes me...- she buried her face in his mane, yawning. She was really tired from all the walking she did today. She's never had to walk that much before.

Grell smiled "your welcome " grell said as she snuggled into him he winced as she laid on the bruises grell used his magic to pull out an apple and munched on it "want one "grell asked "if not go ahead and go to sleep grell said -I can walk all night long if she sleeps on my back that way I won't have to worry about being attacked while we sleep - grell thought

Midnight shook her head. "I'm getting tired, so I think I'll just sleep... Are you sure it's okay for me to be on your back? You look like you're in pain. I don't want to cause my new stallionfriend any pain..." She noticed his wincing and got a little worried. She really didn't want to hurt him.

Midnight smiled. "Alright... Goodnight, Grell..." she said, laying her head down and closing her eyes. The way she said his named had changed. It now sounds more loving and thoughtful. She didn't know if he liked pet names, so she just figured she'd put a little more care in saying his name just to be safe.

Grell smiled "good night sweet dreams midnight " grell said as he walked all was quite except for the bird song and grells steps he kept scanning his surroundings if anything got the drop on him it would be bad with midnight on his back he wouldn't be able to fight as well

(((I'm back. I couldn't sleep lol))) Midnight fell asleep. This was the most relaxed she had been in ages. She felt so much more relaxed with Grell around. That's how she knew he was special.

Midnight awoke, still on Grell's back, yawning. "Mornin'..." she said, lifting her head up.

Grell yawned "good morning midnight " grell said he had been walking the whole night he yawned again as he pulled out an apple and offered it to midnight while pulling out and eating another as he scanned the surroundings always ready to fight if need be

Midnight smiled and took the apple, nomming it as she got down off his back. "Why don't we go rest? I'll let my power take over so I can be on guard. You look so exhausted..." She pointed to a little cave. "That looks like a good spot for a small nap for you. Come on," she walked over to it.

Grell smiled "I'm fine " grell said being bullheaded as he walked over to her yawning again and eating his apple "I can go a while before I need to sleep and I can still...-" grell yawned yet again "fight so you can relax " one if grell hooves was unwrapped because late last night a minitor attacked them and grell had a cut across his chest

Midnight huffed, grabbed his ear with her mouth and pulled him into the cave. "Rest. Now. You're wounded and really tired. Quit being so stubborn and rest," she pouted, making him lay down. She didn't like stubborness. It really really irritated her like no other

Grell sighed and used the last of his energy to summon a large coffin "fine but only for an hour or so and if you want you can sleep in here with me it's large enough " grell said as he hugged her with one foreleg he then wrapped his hoof he then gave midnight a kiss

Midnight smiled, satisfied, and crawled into it with him. She wasn't going to sleep. She just wanted to be next to him at all times. He was always protecting her at any cost. The least she could do is do the same. "See? Was that so hard?" She giggled, giving him a kiss.

Grell curled up and pecked her cheek "yeah kinda " grell said with a laugh as he closed the top he was sure they would be safe he fell asleep and slept for five hours and woke up he didn't move yet and was unaware of how late he had slept

Midnight had ended up falling asleep, laying right beside him, her good wing over him like a shield. She stirred a bit, but did not wake. She had only been asleep for about 30 minutes when he woke up. The darkness ended up being to much and she pastes out too. (((Lol looks like they both did)))

Grell felt midnight stir and knew that ah eye had fell asleep he opened the coffin and seen the sun had moved dramatically he realized he had over slept he gently shook midnight "hey wake up midnight we slept way to long " grell said as he pulled out an apple and tossed it to midnight

She groaned and rolled over, not wantingcto get up. The apple bonked her on the head, making her wake up instantly. "Owwww..." She rubbed her head as she bit the apple. "That really hurt, Grell," she whined, pouting cutely.

Grell tried not to laugh "sorry midnight but we need to hurry we slept way to long if we hurry we can make it to the main group of undead then we can head back to camp "grell said as he tended to his wound his stomach growled but grell ignored it as he cleaned up the dried blood that matched the color of his eyes

Midnight sighed, stretching and standing up, hopping out of the coffin. "Can I please take my splint off? I'm pretty sure I'm healed now. I mean, my cuts are already completely healed..." She looked at her wing. "Plus it doesn't even look broken now..." She looked back at him.
