Grell finished his shower and stepped out his mane wasn't in it's normal style instead it was a mess of red hair dripping water onto the floor "ok midnight there's shampoo and conditioner and body wash in there for you im going to try and fix you mane " grell said

Midnight kicked it again then stepped in the shower, smiling. "Ahh how I missed my cloud showers!"

 

Scout blinked, hearing Grell get out of the shower. He went back upstairs. "I think I know what kind of furniture to put in here!" he exclaimed as he walked down the hall.

Grell smiled as he stood at the mirror working on his mane when he heard scout yelling "oh yeah well let's here it scout " grell said as he set his bangs his mane was easy to fix when dry nut it's was a pain while wet he thought about his shower it was very relaxing

Midnight was singing as she washed her mane, relaxing in the shower.

 

Scout saw where he was and walked in. "Well, I noticed the old painting and details around the house. I thought that we could use a Victorian theme in the house. I think it'd look cool, honestly."

Grell listened to midnight sing and scout talk he turned to him his mane now fixed "yeah sounds like a plan " grell said as he magically made his hair stuff disappear and used his magic to get some apples and began to eat them he munched and munched just relaxing

Midnight, still washing, stopped singing. "I think a Victorian style would be amazing in this house. The bed already looks like it's that style..."

 

Scout nodded. "And my room could be a different theme, for that matter, since I have that giant coffin. Where do you think we'd get the stuff to furnish the house??"

Grell smiled "the past scout " grell laughed "I don't know probably a what's it called that sells the old stuff uhhhhhhhhh starts with an a I think ummmmmmmmmm " grell said trying to think of the word but just couldn't he sighed he didn't like not being able to remember a word

Midnight blinked, washing her coat. "You mean an antique shop??"

 

Scout blushed, embarrassed. He looked at the cloud. -I hope the cloud has enough water left for me. She's taking an awful long time...- He looked back at Grell, smiling. "I love those shops. They're so cool."

"yessssssssssss" grell shouted " that's it that's the word " grell turned to scout "I do too scout so let's figure out how we're going to get to the underworld I seriously doubt they'll let us go I mean they might let you and maybe if we're lucky me but they won't let midnight "

Midnight continued washing.

 

Scout nodded. "Maybe I can go talk to them. And if not, then I don't think Midnight would mind staying back, right Midnight?"

 

Midnight stepped out, water dripping off her mane and tail. "Truthfully, I don't really want to go to the Underworld... So I don't mind not going..." She looked in the little bag she carried around and grabbed her brush, brushing out her mane.

Grell sighed -well if she doesn't go then I won't just wont be as fun - grell thought "you sure it'll be fun and we'd get to hang out plus I'd like you to be there in case my dad is there " grell said "but if you don't want to its ok " grell continued to eat his apple a little juice dripping from his chin

Midnight sighed, brushing her tail now. "I've been to the underworld once... I was dragged down there by Scout's dad... He wanted to keep me hostage until my mother agreed to marry him... She got us both out... I don't really wish to go back..."

 

Scout blinked. "My father had you imprisioned?? Why didn't your dad try and stop him??"

 

Midnight looked down. "My father is the one who originally gave him the idea... He wanted me gone for good..."

"I understand midnight it's ok " grell said the more he learned about her dad the more he wanted him to just die a slow and painful death and then be trapped in tartarus in torment for all of eternity grell hid his anger well "scout no offense but I think your dad is a plothole "

Scout sighed. "That was before he found out about me... He changed once he heard he had a baby boy..."

 

Midnight looked at Grell. -I don't want another fight again...- She smiled. "I-It's okay... I can go if you want to go..." She put her brush back in her bag, really hating the fact she agreed to go.

"yeah well he still did it scout and midnight don't worry about it you don't have to " grell said as he walked over to her and nuzzled her "me and scout can go ".grell was already making a plan to stay without midnight knowing he'd just have to make sure scout didn't say anything

Midnight shook her head. "I-I'm fine. I'll go..." She went into their bedroom, her obvious fear on her face.

 

Scout blinked, seeing her look before she walked out. -She really is scared to go back there... I don't want her to be scared...- He looked at Grell, a little iffy about going now.

Grell followed midnight "hey you don't have to go I'll be fine even if I go alone because scout looks like he's rethinking it " grell said "anyways you're scared of the underworld and I'm not going to force you to go " grell nuzzled her and gave her a kiss aaa

Midnight shook her head,walking to the room and sitting on the bed. "I'm fine. Really. I'll go."

 

Scout followed, sighing. "I just don't feel comfortable letting you go without her... It feels weird thinking of you two being apart... And I know you're going to refuse to go, but you won't tell her..."

"no I wouldn't and midnight you don't need to go back there I can see it on your face your petrified " grell said he glanced over to scout "you don't know me so don't act like you do you don't know what is do " grell hated when ponies acted like they knew what he was thinking

Scout blinked, his ears going down. "I-I didn't mean to make you mad..." He started to tear up.

 

Midnight blinked. "Sc-Scout??" He got off the bed and hugged him. "H-hey, it's okay... Don't cry... If it means that much to you, I'll go... So please don't cry..." She kissed the top of his head.

Grell felt bad "scout I'm sorry ".grell said his head dropping a few inches he walked out of the room and went downstairs when he heard a knock on the door when he opened it he was surprised to see two mares carrying a dead body "are you the undertaker " they asked grell nodded and stepped aside the mares walked in and Sat the body down and then Sat down

Midnight blinked, noticing the 2 mares. She let go of Scout and opened her flew down there, standing next to Grell.

(((Keep in mind she has a very powerful aura and unintentionally makes herself seem dark and mysterious))) "Who are these ponies...?"

 

Scout wiped his eyes, walking out into the hall and looking down at them all.

Grell shrugged "I don't know they brought in a body it's pretty mangled so keep scout away" grells said rthe mares looked up "we're guardians and there is a few more bodies six to be exact do you want them now " one of the mares asked grell nodded "yes that would be nice " grell said

Midnight looked at the mares. "I am Midnight Shine..." She looked at the bodies. "What happened to these ponies...?"

 

Scout blinked, seeing a dead thing on the floor. "What is that...?" He wanted to go down there for a better look at the body. He went on the stairs to get a better look.

Grell used his magic to put the body on the table and then got the tools necessary

The mares walked out and carried in the other bodies before turning to midnight "they left camp without permission and tried to fight a dragon they woke it up they paid the price for their stupidity ".one mare said

Grell was hard at work putting the body together
